Vaping Kief With Balloon on EQ

I have an Extreme Q and a month's worth of accumulated kief in the grinder that came with the vape. my friend is gonna smoke for his first time on Monday and I've decided to introduce him to Mary Jane via vaporizer. I'm planning on putting all of my kief into the vape and blowing up a balloon for him to vape.

should i mix the kief with fresh herb or just put it straight in? (I'd rather not go through the trouble of making hash)
should i put it in the cyclone bowl or in the elbow?

i would sprinkle it on top of your herbs if you want maximum effectiveness.

If it is his first time, go easy. Maybe you should just go with the herb...I highly doubt he needs to added punch of the kief, but its your call.

If I had the opportunity to introduce someone to MJ through the Q, I would pack the elbow with herb, and set it to about 220* and blow a bag at speed 1 or 2. It should be a bag with visible vapor but still a decent air ratio (the more air in the hit, the smoother it will be...less of a choking/throat tightening sensation). Honestly, one bag of herb and your buddy will probably be torqued.

I personally wouldn't use keif for a guys first time, especially a whole massive cyclone bowl of it on the EQ... I got higher my first time than I have smoking any amount of herb now, and that was just on half a joint and a bowl in a bubbler.

I would start with 190-200 using an elbow pack of herb. 220 is too high to be starting out on the EQ imo.

Setting it around 220 gives me nice milky hits I was used to back in my combustion days. I've come to appreciate the taste and buzz of lower temps however, it just took some time before I felt satisfied after vaping on low temps.
I think I'll take a hit now =)
