Wow, just read the last two pages where Bud was being thrown under the bus.

Glad to see that once again, on FC, the Defenders of my Vape have mounted the ramparts.

Maybe some may want to go to his site and post your opinions of him and his LS review?

I'm out of here.

Cheers

I think we are all secretly hoping for a miraculous unicorn, I know I am. :brow:

@bossman custom stems are inevitable.

I will and I appreciate the encouragement. Just waiting for the next batch and maybe a domestic ship option from Khalekgirl.

Milaana. Lana. LANA. LANAAAA! (TM2/TP80/BAK/FW9)
I stand corrected, @Brewervapesalot. In German a „foil“ is always something very thin. Would I have looked a bit closer as @Shit Snacks recommended, I would have noticed it's indeed a ribbon (which in German is not being refered to as a foil, that's what confused me).

Oh yeah I totally meant ribbon, for this and Nomad, iHeat uses foil (not as a heater)

I also typically start bowls below 6 because the flavor is so good... Especially that first hit especially below 5 especially below 4... And the clouds are still thick that low! Also smooth without cooling unit (still using basket in backwards Milaana stem almost exclusively through j hook and sometimes d tube for upper temps) Though I do notice nice flavor with the cooling unit as well with temps below 5 in particular. I am usually temp stepping, and the TM has not left me wanting... When I use other vapes it is mostly for variety sakes perhaps?

I'm a little frustrated. Received an email from Paddy (Tetra P80) telling me that I will be able to place an order at 3pm today. Well at 3pm they were sold out.

So if I was to order a TinyMight, do we have any idea of time to delivery?

@Bazinga – Being patient is pretty much obligatory with these artisanal devices. When ordering from Lamart, at least you know that the unit already exists when placing an order, while the Tinymight crew works with preorders. Edit: You might have to look at different time zones, Lamart is located in Switzerland.

However, watching this thread I think it's pretty save to say that you'll receive the device within 4 to 8 weeks after ordering.

I was patient in terms of waiting until yesterday to receive an email telling me that I could place the order today. I have no idea when the next "drop" will occur. Nor do I have way of knowing if I will be able to be at computer at a precise time with only seconds to place the order.

I have no issue in waiting 4 to 8 weeks for delivery if I'm not required to place the order in a few seconds on a certain date. In other words, I would like to place an order at my convenience and do not mind waiting for delivery. My first choice was the P80 but I'm certain I will like the TM.

Whoa, will you please take a look at this? No special lighting or other tricks!

I need some kinda rig and that adapter. :-)

Thanks to @khelek41girl for letting me post this here.

Hey but the "effects" are nil because it's a stainless heater! Lol:rofl:

I like his videos normally. A lot even. Not that one. Title built it up as a cool comparison video. It was not...

It's not very accurate on the tiny might is what I would say on his forum, but I dont go on other forums because I dont see the point.

I wasn't trying to instigating anything.

Just letting people know that video wasnt accurate as to the Tiny Mighy in a few very notable ways...

yes.. i was going back & forth between p80 & tinymight. came to a decision just prior to the announcement of the p80 drop pro tinymight, but checked the lamart page at ca. 3.10ish swiss time today out of curiosity. feeling somewhat relived my decision went the other way beforehand.
i have not followed lamarts vapes for long, but i am guessing the p80s are in such high demand right now because they are relatively new? i would hope so, because i would still like to get one at some point. but would prefer a waiting list to having to pull the trigger in such a short timeframe.
anyway, to give you an idea re your query: i ordered the tinymight two days ago & was given an estimate of a 3 week wait. pretty good i think.
@Siebter: i am located in germany too.. did you order the mistvape dosing capsules w/ urbanistic? seems the closest option i can find, but with shipping it actually appears cheaper to order from mistvape directly. which would be a little nuts for those tiny capsules. i only really need a couple..

That's the thing: The VC basically doesn't do reviews anymore. What he does instead is hanging out with his buddies from his forum (in unlisted live streams only announced via the forum), and he does so several times a week. This was no exception: an unscripted, spontaneous live stream with the idea of comparing the TM with the P80 (which he pretty much did, hence the title). Since he got the TM just the day before (which he clearly stated right at the beginning), this comparison was prone to lack some of the details of the TM. Given that (and that he, as always, refused to read the manual until needed), I think he got along with the TM *very* well – and enjoyed it quite a bit too. And that's what he shared with this stream: his early experiences with the TM while comparing it a bit with the P80. It was not meant to be an in depth comparison, it was meant to be... fun. Apparently not the kind of fun that everyone is looking for, but still fun for some of us. :-)

Kuckuck! :-) Yeah, I ordered them via Urbanistic, which was indeed incredibly costly for both the items themselve and the shipping (took a while too, although to be fair it was holiday season). So if you can wait, I'd rather recommend getting them from Mistvape directly.

Can we drop the VCBud off topic conversation and get back to why we are all here, the Tinymight?

I'm beginning night 2 of my testing by finishing a short stem, which hopefully will not cause me to be so faded that I cannot report on long stem performance.

I dont follow him. It was misleading and inaccurate information both in the title and in substance as to Tiny Might.

It was also thinly veiled advertising, not just a "hangout".

He said he just got it, but didnt qualify his statements by saying he might be wrong. And the whole glass versus stainless idiocy compounded the hour wasted watching the video.

I just pointed that out because readers will listen to him and they should not on this one.

Saddened he's stopped doing good reviews, for sure. I'll avoid his videos now... appreciate that information...

on /off : I have to press the power button once, which than vibrates, followed by three quick presses to turn it on. when turning if off, I only have to press three times. I minor glitch, anyone else notice the same ?

I noticed that if I remove and reinsert the battery the TM will vibrate four times (with a fully charged battery) when I tighten the lid just enough.

Immediately after that, if I press the fire button once it will vibrate each time. If I press the fire button 3 times rapidly it will turn on as normal. After turning it back off nothing happens when I press the fire button once.

I've done this a couple of times, and each time after I reinsert the battery it will vibrate with a single press of the fire button. I've done a single press several times and each time it vibrates. Again, after a power on/off cycle a single press of the fire button does nothing.

Not exactly what you described, but pretty similar...

Unfortunately when It went out for delivery today DHL didn't include my house number on the delivery slip. So my TM won't arrive until Monday now.

Yup...same happened to me as I paid with my PP account which is a diff address. But DHL called and texted to alert me and then gave a toll free # to call and verify shipping address.

This video was a *private live stream* where Bud / the Vape Critic shares his first experiences with the TM, clearly stating that he got it the day before. Whoever expected a thorough review got not only the idea of the stream very wrong, but also him as a person.

Yes.....I know many do not watch him all the time...but he did give an official retirement from doing his review videos. He mentioned he will do some from time to time if he is motivated by a good vape. But for now it is just going with the flow he feels and it is now why you do not see his past type of normal full reviews. He got tired of the stagnant vape market and has 0 motivation to churn out produced vids.

Also, glass heaters beat SS any day of the week for vapor quality (especially taste and longevity of taste)...sorry...that is MY opinion with my taste buds and lungs. If you feel otherwise....I am totally stoked for you because we are all slightly different in many ways! Vape on!

A LOT more portable, though.

For sure.....I would totally agree and one of the reasons I wanted to try the TM. I wanted a on demand portable I could sneak medication with while away from home. But when at home...I reach for my Elev8r and G43 to get er done.

Again, after a power on/off cycle a single press of the fire button does nothing.

When the TM is off and you press the button....it should only vibrate one time.[/QUOTE]

Ha okay, so experimented a bit and this is how it behaves for me: with the device turned off
  • I hit the button once → it vibrates shortly
  • I turn the device on by 3x clicking
  • Turn it off by 3x clicking
  • I hit the button once → it does not vibrate
  • I hit the button *twice* → nothing happens
  • I hit the button once again → it vibrates
I know there's a function that waits for clicks even when the device is turned off, because it needs to detect button hits in order to activate the safety mode indicator vibration (dial turned to lowest setting). Maybe it's some kinda leftover from there? :-)

Same.

Although you have to click "3 times" so fast that I'm not sure I actually can count how many times I actually click before something happens...

If that makes sense; to turn on or off I just click really fast a few times and it turns on or off.

You gotta do it so fast I cant really count how many clicks occur before the device reacts... feels like sometimes it's just one click as my finger never really lifts off the button, but the device thinks it does?

Can we please stop discussing Bud in this thread? One person's comments in a live stream do not merit the amount of discussion that is going on here. Take it to PMs if you must.

Now that that's out of the way, I got mine today as well and am enjoying it quite a bit so far. I really like that it's analog - just because we can make tiny screens doesn't mean there needs to be one on every vape.

When I first tried to use it, I noticed two problems. First, there was a really annoying rattle. Second, it wouldn't turn on. Turns out those two things were related. The positive battery terminal was too low so it wasn't making contact on both ends which caused the rattle of course. It must've gotten lowered during transit so I would suggest that they not ship the battery inside the device to avoid this. I managed to use a paperclip to hook onto the terminal and I pulled it up a bit. Works like a charm now and no rattle.

One pet peeve that I do have about it is that it doesn't sit completely flat when you set it down. The temp selection dial protrudes out from the otherwise flat bottom just enough to have my OCD triggered as it wobbles for a second. Not a big deal, but a missed opportunity IMO.

Overall, I think if this thing proves to be reliable over time, it'll be a big hit.

:peace:

Are you sure it's the temp dial? Because it shouldn't protrude. The screw that holds everything together does (not enough to create a wobble, though). I think @MonkeyTime had a problem with a protruding temp dial, so keep an eye on it .

yeah, was about writing same, when your post showed up. The torx screw in the middle of the bottom plate protrudes and my TM doesn't stand flat and wobbles a bit
