can the blunt roller smoke their mistakes?

From the article:
"Not only does Snoop pay him upwards of $50,000 to roll blunts, the employee also gets perks: he’s welcome to smoke the marijuana he rolls, goes on all-expense-paid trips while Snoop is traveling on tours and gets free items like clothing whenever companies give their products to the artist."

Before reading the article, I was going to joke about how many times a professional blunt roller can screw up and still be considered a professional. But, apparently, this guy is good. I loved how Seth Rogan found it "mesmerizing".

And Snoop smokes 81 blunts a day. Starts and finishes them to a roach, or has a half-dozen hits to maintain altitude, until the next blunt/Altitude Adjustment...?

The frostier the flower...

Um, did you know the good stuff is in glandular trichomes on the plant?

Sure, we all did. But, now, SCIENCE!

The frostier the flower, the more potent the cannabis
Advanced microscopy reveals internal structures of cannabis biochemical factories
Cannabis flowers with the most mushroom-shaped hairs pack the biggest cannabinoid and fragrance punch, according to new research from the University of British Columbia.

While the cannabis leaf is iconic, it's the chemicals produced by the tiny, frostlike hairs on cannabis flowers that give the plant its psychoactive and medicinal properties and distinctive smell.

In a study published in The Plant Journal, UBC researchers have revealed the unique structures and chemical outputs of the different types of hairs, or glandular trichomes, for the first time.

Their findings confirm what many cannabis connoisseurs have long suspected: that the largest, mushroom-shaped stalked glandular trichomes are the richest source of THC- and CBD-forming metabolites and fragrance-giving terpenes.

"Despite its high economic value, our understanding of the biology of the cannabis plant is still in its infancy due to restricted legal access," said co-lead author Teagen Quilichini, a postdoctoral fellow at UBC botany and Anandia Laboratories Inc. "Trichomes are the biochemical factories of the cannabis plant and this study is the foundation for understanding how they make and store their valuable products."...

WeWork ex-boss had 'penchant to smoke marijuana'

A former WeWork manager has filed a "charge of discrimination" against the firm and its co-founder Adam Neumann.

Medina Bardhi, his former chief of staff, argues she feared for the health of her unborn baby during her first pregnancy because he smoked marijuana on chartered planes.....

.........Ms Bardhi had decided to disclose the fact she was pregnant early because she could no longer accompany him on business travel.

She had been worried for her unborn child "due to his penchant for bringing marijuana on chartered flights and smoking it throughout the flight while in the enclosed cabin".

When she returned from maternity leave the first time, she was not given her old job back for several months, she said.

Sebastian Vettel Claims to be Smelling Marijuana Everywhere on the Track and Garage at the 2019 US Grand Prix

On Friday, there was an absolutely bizarre moment, which was pointed out by Sebastian Vettel. The Ferrari driver was talking to Sky Sports when he noted that he could smell marijuana from his car during the practice sessions.

Out of the blue, he inquired about the legal situation of marijuana in the red state. In fact, local authorities are having problems after choosing to legalize minimal THC cannabis recently. However, marijuana itself remains illegal, but Texas police are finding hard to enforce the law.

In fact, Vettel reported that there was a strong smell “in turns 1 and 11”. The Sky reporter informed him that it was present even in the pit lane.

NASA prepped for alien communication with 'LSD dolphin sex' experiment
https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/we...on-lsd-20988532.amp?__twitter_impression=true
NASA funded an attempt to communicate with aliens using a bizarre experiment which involved getting intimate and giving drugs to dolphins back in the 60s.

Malcolm Brenner made headlines in 2010 when he confessed to having had a passionate seven-month affair with a dolphin.

It wasn’t just sex, he insisted, the dolphin understood him. He felt that dolphins were no less intelligent than humans and that it was possible to find a shared language.

He’s not the first person to try to find a common language with the large-brained aquatic mammals....

Did you know using the marijuanas can get you killed?

Marijuana detected in homicide victims nearly doubles
Over two-thirds of adolescent victims aged 15-20 tested positive in 2016
Date:
January 8, 2020
Source:
Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health
Summary:
Researchers assessed the time trends in alcohol and marijuana detected in homicide victims and found that the prevalence of marijuana almost doubled, increasing from 22 percent in 2004 to 42 percent in 2016. Alternately, the prevalence of alcohol declined slightly from 40 percent in 2004 to 35 percent in 2016.
Remember, kids, if you're worried about getting murdered, switch to beer.

Edit:
Seriously, though, it does point to a possible issue. At the very least, it seems like more kids are using cannabis and alcohol than in the past.

Michigan town ‘stinks;’ Council buys marijuana odor device
Is that a skunk? No, it’s marijuana.

A small town in Michigan’s western Upper Peninsula is buying an odor-detection device and drafting an ordinance to crack down on the unpleasant smell of blooming marijuana plants.

Bessemer City Manager Charly Loper said the Nasal Ranger could be used to check a variety of bad-air complaints, but she acknowledged that marijuana appears to be the key target.
