Ouuuuweee! I just nailed the doublelight-and-back-and-forth? technique.

Single flame, rolling it back and forth slowly, stop after seven to ten seconds, take a one or two second pause, light it, and finally, respect the click. Three rounds. Don’t want to push it. Yet!

Edit - oh nooooo I combusted :( I forgot about the click

I use an open frame DIY. Simple and reliable. 100 clicks would be 1 week.
Right now the problem is waiting lists. If you have the wherewithal to make things, lets do a group build.

Very cool. So wait, you're saying that yours only lasts for 100 clicks and then you have to make another one? If so, this sounds like it would get very expensive very quick!
I believe I'm competent enough to build an IH, given some instructions, and would certainly be interested in a group build. How many people do we need?

I don't understand what it is about this thread, but once again it went off the rails. I deleted 7 posts and edited another one to remove the off-topic portion.

This thread gets enough posts in a day; we don't need more off-topic chat. Please take a minute before you hit Post Reply and consider whether what you've written is about the VapCap. Thanks for your cooperation.

And WOW I never knew all the history of the vapcap, this thread is fascinating!
i just dove into the vapverse, received my first m a couple of days ago & am really really liking it. possibly a little too much.
i started reading the beginning of this thread, and while it really is a little too long to finish, it truly is a fascinating thread & story to follow (for a while). too bad i wasnt aware of this earlier, but glad i am here now. dreaming in vapcap these days. thanks & hello.

It wasn't many pages back where I was commenting about how the vapcap wasn't my cup of tea. This after I had given it a try on several different occasions. Past occassions being two early model vc's and then a new tip recently. Then a couple weeks ago, out of nowhere land, I got a good technique going and it started working for me. Now I've been using it almost exclusively and loving it. I went from giving up on it, to ordering an @Pipes IH and a future @phattpiggie stem.

My IH arrives Tuesday.

Oh sorry, no, nothing wears out in the circuit specifically. Thanks @Hippie to clarify the statement you may have read. Indeed, batteries will need charging often. These pull about 60-70 watts as they come from China. What I was getting at is that I attached the coil to the circuit board; RTV'd a 10A momentary switch to the side of the circuit board. and wire it to a 5.1x2 plug. Now make yourself a 3S 18650 pack discrete or BMS setup and wire it up with a longer cord. Pocket the cell pack and palm the IH. I use a small vile in the coil to maintain the VC. Tongue depressors have been used to maintain the VC.

And while you are enjoying the hell out of our VC+IH, place an order for the IH product of your choice as a backup.

of course, if you are indoors and tabletop sessions is the norm, you can get a 12V6A supply or package the cells with the IH on a simple frame. Some nice DIY IH samples have been posted here and there on FC.

So before raving or saying it was trash, I decided to do some extensive testing with the BB9 :science:

Admittedly after my first couple packs I was not really feeling it. However, the more I put through it the more I liked it. Without a condenser and keeping the carb closed (yes, it’s a carb on the BB9 lol) the hits became massive. I used both a SS and Ti tip, favoring the Ti mostly.

Using it as a stem only is impressive, but add a water piece and things come alive. I went back and forth with and without water. I settled on the little nectar collector as I felt that it gave a nice pull and who doesn’t love seeing the glass fill up with vapor.

Downside, cleaning. I know a couple of you are looking at that BB9 dreaming about submerging it in your drink...and yes you’ve got me thinking I may need to start that too lol. It’s not a add a little iso and shake...it’s a add iso and leave for 24 hours. The dimples and beads are a little tricky to clean at least for me.

Has anyone tried the Twist? Any observations other than it works? :brow:

There’s a “vapcap chat” thread that seems like a great place to have off-topicish convos that you want to have with vapcap aficionados...

What changed about your technique that has made such positive a difference?

Well that's OK, I can explain it to you: the vapcap is an amazing vaporization device, which attracts lots of amazing vapor enthusiasts (such as myself), who like to share their ideas (such as the ones you have deleted) and such with other vapor enthusiasts. For sure, everything in my post was related to the vapcap and my personal experience. I hate it when I'm talking about my vapcap and then toolbags come along and blow my high, it's quite irritating.

I don't always understand the reasons why our mods do what they do, but I TOTALLY understand that without them this forum would stop functioning.
One of the reasons they keep trucking along running this show, is to support us, this community.
We need to make sure we support them back. :peace::peace::peace::peace::peace::peace::peace::peace::peace:

Edit. Just realized my post is off topic. How ironic. :uhoh:
