When I emailed customer service about the DIY ice stem I got a response asking for my mailing address and that they’d mail me the specs. I haven’t seen anything yet mail wise. I’m super interested in getting one. Anyone heard anything about the DIY or deeper honeycomb screen?

I can put the screen in deeper. (we make them in house) but it makes the draw difficult when you put too much material in.

I would like a 1 inch bowl and to increase the airflow, keep the stem's shape the same on both sides, decrease the number of glass beads and use a second honeycomb screen to trap them off.

I just wanted to add (in reference to my earlier post about the 14mm GonG getting stuck and was difficult to separate it from the bong):

That the problem resolves itself after sometime. That the stickyness is only because the GonG is brand new and a quick way to "wear it in" faster is to just twist the GonG in a clockwise direction for about 1 minute (I mean while its connected to the bong). This scratches the glass against the glass and then after awhile it doesn't stick anymore.

But certainly dont use any oil or lubricant because the heat makes the oil turn into an adhesive (the opposite of what we want to accomplish). To think I have had this E-Nano for almost 3 years and avoided bongs all this time but now that i gave it a "fair shake" I really enjoy using it with a small bong. I finally understand now why so many on this forum use it with a water piece all the time.

So now all week I have been using it only with the bong.

Lately I've been using this grav helix "pre-mix chamber" + a 14mm gong as dry stem. The little air intakes cool down the vapor and smooth it out.

Has anyone used the E-Nano with a 2 piece grinder? Are you able to suck the herb up into the stem even with the metal teeth in the way?

IMO it doesn't work well no. I suggest a herb funnel, I got mine off Amazon for under $5. You can dump the ground herb in the funnel into any stash you typically use for ground bud. I use the herb stash on my new Futo gifted to me by a FC member.

I use a 2pc grinder -the Newvape Fine Grinder, emptied into a rounded edge wooden bowl with a Delta 3D spoon to get it into the stem.

I connected the ice stem to a water pipe adapter via tubing and held the stem on the Nano. I can get mega rips like this. Then I ordered some glass balls to make an Ice water adapter by pushing a screen down into the adapter by the 14mm side, filling the middle part with the glass balls, and then putting my top screen in like normal. This seems to really add to the cooling of the vapor. To test it I combusted a bowl, intentionally, at 8, and holy pugmother was it cool. Quite literally.

Another thing is I am somewhat able to use the E-Nano in a session now, if I take shallower puffs and don't grind. Just got around 6 small tasty puffs off a chunk of super lemon haze stuffed into the stem.

Herb Funnel! I always see those in the Sneaky Pete YouTube review videos. That is until YouTube banned him. Its really annoying how many vape review videos have been deleted by YouTube. And how many weed related channels in general they have deleted from the platform. Their Censorship is really getting out of control.

I have a 4-piece grinder, but I still empty my ground-up weed into a small separate airtight container. I prefer to load stems out of that than the grinder, even with no teeth in the way.

But that fits my individual usage habits - YMMV. For me, if I grind the max capacity the grinder can hold, the result lasts me about 7-10 days with the e-nano. So I work out of my little container until it's time to grind more.

Bought an e-nano after 10 year vaping hiatus where I used a myrtlezap and SSV. Enjoying the e-nano a lot. I'm a microdoser of extremely small amounts where my cannabis won't even stay in the bowl unless it's upright. I've always liked to run hot and get a full spectrum in one draw.

Thinking of getting something like this and keeping it simple. Though I might just point a stem straight up. I guess my bubbler works till it breaks.

I run all my adjustable screens at exactly one inch.
I don’t put that much more material in but I do run the heater a little higher.
I reckon if you offer the option of glass screens at one inch depth for both gongs & stems on the site they could be popular.

Had no trouble traveling abroad with my nano! Took the small dish attachment that came with my first nano purchase just in case I needed an alibi ('it's used for aroma therapy') but no one gave the thing a second thought. Quite happy to be back to using it at more stable temps and through water, which I couldn't do while I was out of town. (+6) (000) 000-0000 is my back-in-town number on the nano dial .

I'm thinking of buying an enano. Is this better than the buddha and many of the other vapes out here as far as taste and smoothness goes?
That is subjective but the eNano is a top tier micro doser vape. I have had one for about 2 maybe 2.5 years and I use it weekly. If my tolerance wasnt so high I would use it more.
I recommend a gong adapter to use with a big glass j-hook or a globe like what sneaky Pete sells. It's awesome in the winter. I'll hold it like a warm mug of coffee to keep my hands warm it's very comforting. Lol

Is the heating chamber where the ceramic heater is located aluminum or stainless steel?
I really don't want any aluminum in a vape, after buying the Mighty that thing is basically plastic and aluminum and I do like the al glass air path and ceramic heating element I just am wondering if that is an aluminum inner chamber?

From pg.1
Stainless steel heater core accepts standard 3/8" ID wands

@hades65 I'm the same way. If I lie my stem down flat I need to do it slowly or all my herb will fall out.

So far, one stem and screen lasts for a week with just basic cleaning/brushing due to how little material I need. I guess that is one thing about other devices, especially ones that have built-in bowls -they get dirty quickly.

@Truth Seeker I had a Mighty. The E-Nano blows it away in every respect except for portability. If you turn the Mighty on from off it will heat up faster than the E-Nano from off but if you leave the Nano on the Mighty never compares. I bought the Plenty on Black Friday and used it for maybe a month when it hit me that the Nano blows it away in every single area. I now have 2 Nanos.

I saw my pain Dr. last week. Before i got dropped off I took one puff off half a scoop of ghost train haze. In my Nano of course. My o2 saturation was a 97 out of 100 when I finally got called back, maybe 15m later. Before cannabis I was frequently in high 80s, and seeing the 90s meant lots of breathing medications and oxygen. I can ace a peak flow meter test now with almost no effort. The Dr. ended the appointment with "it's obvious you should keep doing what you're doing." I also explained the vaporization of flowers, and the E-Nano to her. I'm bringing it with me next time to give her a thorough showing.

When you look into the parts used, the nano was thoughtfully designed and then constructed using quality components. This was one of the principle reasons I bought this vape in the first place. Glass airpaths, medical grade heater components, etc.

I would never buy a S&B vape because there are too many plastic parts for way too high a price IMO. However, it really isn't fair to compare any portable vape to a plug in. Plug in's can offer unbridled power due to the constant 110V power supply. The nano is basically a powerful heater wrapped in beautiful wood, but you can't really take it for a walk like a portable.

Each has its purpose, and my portables platoon with my enano. I also love my Fury 2 and my vapcap.

Is there an issue with filtration on the E nano? It’s basically a glass stem with a little screen so it looks to me like a lot of particulars could come through to your mouth?

If you only use the fixed glass stem you can get some bits in your mouth, but not too often. My ice stem has the fixed screen so I added an inverted basket screen to prevent that from happening.

With the adjustable stems and a basket screen I have not had an issue, and of course no issues with the gong and a bubbler.
