Could you or someone else please re-post those pics?
I'm getting this when I click on
what appear to be broken imgur links.
We all know how much imgur loves us...

@thejackalsmark yep rayon works well with kief.
Not tried it but I'd imagine a prewarmed coil would be fine. Tipped at an angle so the kief melts into rather than falls through the windings.

Same principle with hemp fibre and organic cotton for any concentrate as well as kief or hash for that matter.

Put the vapable onto a small amount of your chosen substrate, as with the coil don't overload. No gram dabs in a VC.
Form into a ball with the contents in the centre, don't compress it too much just enough that it stays in shape.

When you think it's finished check for tackyness, sticky means there are goodies still available.
If this is the case tease the ball open, dangerous grounds for the 'out of context' thread, and roll again. Vape until done.

I learned a lot about Vapcaps thanks to her in-depth posts. A good opportunity to thank @Squiby: thank you very much

I bet if I share a pic of ONE of @Squiby 's FAV stems, (One of MY favs TOO! lol) And we ask real Purrrrty, like, she MIGHT tell everyone who DOESN'T know, (and newer folks)
the story BEHIND that one!

George gets a bit of criticism about some of his more recent
stems, but imho THIS one was epically cool and I wish he would start offering THESE, (again?) :2c:

tRump screamin’, you say? Remember the good old days, when you can
Go up from Bolinas, to Half Moon Bay, waking up to see a lovely naked
Woman doing yoga, up in the attic, rubbing your sleepy eyes?

One more toke? Michelle still has the looks.
Southern California had no side walk’s!
There was a WHITE HOUSE on the coast.

CAMP PENALTON (Sano) no crowds?
In school in LONG BEACH we prayed for kid’s who shoveled snow to go to school.
1963 when JFK was killed we drove home down the 405 fwy with the car light’s on.
SURF before school was common!
Smoking joint’s was the norm?
1970 was a long time ago!
We had ZIGZAG’S to roll.
The “M” would of been a great addition to a ERA lost in time and space?

Hey, @Slotheus. Thank you for that repost. I appreciate it. Good to "meet" you here as well.

I explained to Sloth on another forum how much I've appreciated the info on this thread. I had no idea that one of the dudes I admired here was a guy I was chatting with elsewhere. Cool.

I'm new at this whole forum / social media thing (old dog). But, my experience with Dynavap - the product, the company, the community - compelled me to go outside my comfort zone and join in online.

I have no Facebook, Instagram, etc. I rarely watch anything on YouTube unrelated to music or edibles. I stumbled upon Dynavap. Bought one in Nov 2019. It's now my only device and daily driver.

My experience was so gratifying I sent a "thank you" email to the company. I received a gift in the mail as a reply. I passed that gift to a friend about mid December. He told me last week that he had no desire to smoke since using his VapCap.

So, in short, this device, company, and community are really a life changer. I say "life" changer because I rely on my VapCap medically and it really has improved my overall quality of life to not only me but my long suffering wife and 2 teenage children.

To everyone involved in bringing me to the proper use of this life changing device: Thank you.

Could you please explain what I'm looking at. I'm rather intrigued.

Keep in mind when explaining that it took me a good, long look to figure out that the book it's sitting on has a picture of something with fur.... 'cause I was like, "vaping, yogurt... and fur?" What kind of forum is this?
We have a fair bit in common. I bought my first Dynavap in November as well, got it on the 8th. And the only social media I use are these forums relevant to the topics that inspire me. I do use one other vaporizer, but the dynavap is my favorite method of consuming cannabis that I've ever used. I use it multiple times a day (mostly for hemp but THC also) and think the world of this company. Seem like great people, and the product is simply legendary. "Life changer" is right. It really did change my life. Cannabis is no longer a go-out-in-subzero-weather endeavor. It's a sit-comfortably-at-my-desk-and-ENJOY-the-experience endeavor.

I'm very pleased I "met" you, and that you've formally joined us here on FC. Also, that stem milk was amazing last night. I loved it

Have a great day FC!

Thanks to whoever that was that posted the explanation @Squiby gave for the hemp filter.

That was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I had read it here God knows when. I'm lousy at "searching" for stuff. I can't remember if I read something or dreamt it.

Speaking of @Squiby, I have no idea who she is or where she is. But, if she's lurking here. Thank you.

Also, I read a post from @Squiby a while ago where she endorsed a lighter: Aomai model AM228. Well, I ordered 2 of them on her word, along with 4 other lighters and a 10 pack of neodymium magnets. They're on a slow boat from China (literally) and I don't have anything to give feedback on. But, thanks to her I learned a lot and will learn a lot more. So, thanks.

I got the lighters from a website called fasttech. I don't know how to post links and don't want to post an incorrect one. It's a shady looking website. But, they have lighters that are literally under $3 that @Squiby swears by. With free shipping on half their stuff. Does anyone know anything about this site for good lighters? Specifically, lighters good for our application.

Also, to all other warm welcomes and personal notes: thanks.

PS: I love hearing about the "good ol' days" stoner memories and linking it to the VapCap. I often wonder how the cultural landscape would have been impacted with its presence in the 1960's.

Do you use chrome? If so, there is an add-on app that will allow you to see imgur links in these forums. I've been using it for a while.
Any add-on that allows one to see imgur images shuts off your referrer headers to make them visible to you. That would also break any secure site you go to that require that header, many in my case.
The answer is to NOT TO USE IMGUR LINKS and discourage others from using them, not to break your browser so you can see them...

Looks like Squiby is taking a T-break, but her ambiance is all around.

As for slow boats, you have to wonder. :hmm:

Celebrating my 3 year anniversary with my Dynavap. 1000 sessions, 800 cotton filters and 150 cleanings later, she still ticks like a Swiss watch. I've never once cleaned the cap or the Ti CCD screen. I've never had to. I've never removed the O-rings from the tip, there's no need. The O-rings have zero wear on them despite removing the tip from the stem 800 times. I've only gone through 2 cans of butane.
This thing is like cool jazz, it will never go out of style.

The cap itself is stainless, so that won't rust. The clicking disks are something else, and I suppose they could rust, but I don't know. I never clean my caps. I have never found I needed to.
That may change if/when I start using concentrates, however. We'll see...

Maybe a naive question, but could it be possible that the cap can get rusty on the inside? Once a month I wash the cap and let it rinse in water for a short while, but I think that a bit of water always stays in the cap. I presume the discoloration in the cap is caused by heating the herbs, but I'm not sure :sherlock:

I believe the discoloration is due to your material getting toasted from being in contact with the cap. I never use water to clean the caps but I have the same discoloration. You can use a moistened Q-tip and baking soda to rub off the stain, comes off pretty easily.

SURF before school was common!

Hah, we had common stomping grounds for sure, me a few years earlier maybe.
Remember the Marina Palace for rock bands? on the edge of LB and Seal Beach.

Wished they'd been around! Probably would've saved my throat and lungs. Vape only now--and I still have to take it easy--even w/ a VapCap. Likely from choking down all that cheap Sixties Mex weed.:-)

Going to try the Q-tip and baking soda! Question: what do you use to clean the cap?

For the FC members that like to see more about cleaning the cap, the snap:

I grew up in a surf town south of SUNSET BEACH & 405 fwy was 2 lane’s!
Hot boxing with a “M”? (No seed’s 1970)
We had to car pool to Long BEACH for school?
MUSIC was are thing & the CONCERT’S at LONG BEACH MARINA was our hang out!
I did not smoke pot until 1970.
VAPING 2012 I believe?
During the 60’s team sports ⚾️ was in fashion?
In the 70’s hotboxing down to central MEXICO to Surf and get COLA’s (before BRICK WEED)!
