Ok my Elev8r arrived and YES it hits stupidly hard and taste great! Glad I got it but I won’t become my go-to for same reason I never gravitated to dabbing in a nail. not sure I can get used to having to use a flame that big (I got the recommended big blazer) regularly. I will however, pull it out from time to time. Excellent device though!!

Yeah it hits way too hard to be my daily driver. I use a much smaller torch than the big Blazer

I use my quad torch that I got for my dynavap and turn up the flame all the way and give it 40 seconds initially and about 10 seconds on heat up.

I have two sets, and the second set of "all glass" seemed to me that it heats up faster than "standart", and the bowl is smaller in size. Has anyone noticed this? if before it wasn’t hot to pull through the wand, now with all glass it’s hot to the throat when retracting. why is that ?

even without a screen it’s hard to make sure that the staph does not get into the mouth (all glass). but when I crush staf finer then it evaporates better?

I put the screen on all glass, but the taste became the same because of the screen. it is a pity that the holes are not made even smaller in diameter.

I'm gone....for sure, this thing slams. Shit, it's been awhile since I've been uncomfortably medicated.

Fuck, anyway, I got my enail setup today with 16mm coil. As I've seen from other users here, I stretched the coil out a little bit with a fine tip flathead screwdriver. Spreading the coil wasn't too bad, but I had a helluva time tightening up the diameter, cause the heater was a good bit smaller than the coil. I kind of cheated and bent the tip of the coil, and then wedged the heater into a tight spot via a dimple. It works, but I'm not the happiest with it.

Anyway, I put maybe half of what I would in the SBrunt, loaded onto my daily rig. Set the coil temp to 700, hit it as normal with a steady draw, and got great vapor production. Not as dense as the brick, so I figured I'd bump the temp up. I went to 725, same draw, and it was more dense. Fuck I'm barely holding on to this phone as I type. The vapor was dense, and it went like this for the next two draws with stirring in between. Decided to dump the bowl and reload with the same amount.

Started right off the bat at 750. Thick vapor quickly, which allowed me to ramp up my draw speed. This is how I similarly hit my SBrunt, so I was cool with controlling the draw. Looked at the bowl, and it was brown, but not dark. So a quick stir and up to 775, now it's shining. On the second hit, i sped up my draw speed a good amount, and produced a massive cloud. I kept exhaling vapor. Bowl, dark brown. I got about two more lack luster tasting hits before dumping the bowl.

This thing is a monster......i haven't had a heavy heavy body high in a long time, and... What the fuck, this is nuts. I mean, did this thing just ruin me for other vapes? It's too early to say that, I've only had this a week.

Let's see if I'm saying the same thing in the next couple of months.

I've been looking at getting a flowerpot but damn I've been getting massive hits with the elev8r lately. Taste is amazing. Wondering if it is even worth getting the flowerpot. Anyone have both? Thoughts?

AWESOME SAUCCCCCCCCE

When I first used the Elev8r .......(I have high T normally as I use daily for pain)...it was the first time I felt like I was as medicated or more than combusting flower. My heart was racing fast like when I would rip 3-6 binger rips with fire. But I was a little nervious as I could not believe how powerful the vapor was...I should of stopped after the 3rd pull...but when on to the 6th...oops

Many of us have both.....I totally prefer the Elev8r. I have a hard time with the Ti heat mass from the Flowerpot.

I'm loving both of them and don't think its fair to do a comparison here. They deliver quite equal results, but the whole Flowerpot setup was more than three times what I payed for the ELEV8R.

What I like most at the Flowerpot is the easy, fast working and effortless setup. Stands heated in the corner next to my seat, I only have to grab the bowl, fill it, take the Showerhead and go. Put it on the stand between the draws for stirring. Simple, easy, fast and silent.

The ELEV8R is more "work" to do. Sometimes I'm too lazy for heating and messing around with the hot heater between the draws, when I have to stir. Not to mention the wifes bad eyes when using a jet flame torch and making too much noise while vaping :D

If you have the money for a Flowerpot laying around, go and grab one, you won't regret it. But personally I don't think you'll find a better vape for these few bucks than the ELEV8R.

I think I might just stick with the elev8r for now. Guess VAS has been hitting me hard. Although my past few times using the elev8r (let it heat up even a bit more) I've been getting as big of clouds as I could possibly get, and still had enough power to get a bigger hit if I could.

The more I'm thinking about this coil thing, the more I'm liking it. Even with only one controller, you easily could switch the coil of course. And a second ELEV8R heater, staying in the coil permanently. Damn handy...

Maybe 710coils can make one?

Which is why early on I got a coil setup and now I mainly use that instead of the torches. But I do like a good torch session when I am having increased pain issues to deal with.

Auber makes a great controller and has a 15.8mm coil setup for it. Auber RDK 300

I'm proud owner of a RDK 300 :D

Sadly the 15.8mm seems not to be available for 220V. Did some measuring of my heater and it seems to be little less in diameter.

Where on the heater would you place the coil best? In the middle?

So far, in my limited use, I have it setup that the heater will remain in the coil. I was keeping the heater/coil in a glass ashtray as a place to put the coil while it heated up, or in between stirring. Placing the hot coil in last night into a cold ashtray caused the ashtray to crack in half, so I need to come up with an alternative resting place.

But having the coil on the heater is how i want to use it. Turn on the coil, and while it's heating up, I load up the bowl. Once the coil is up to temp, place the heater on the bowl, draw, and when I can't draw anymore, I lift the heater to clear the rig.

Couple of notes. I removed the screen in the heater, which I think required me to bump the Temps up. To confirm, I placed the screen back in the heater, and I was able to char the herb a little at 785. I think 775 is my starting point for testing, moving forward.

Other than that, I don't particularly care for a hot piece so close to my face, but this is a function of the small glass rig I'm using. I do like how compact the entire setup is.

You were right. This thing is a hitter for sure.

I fear that I may have just fucked up my tolerance. I hit the elev8r just now from the bowl I didn't finish last night. 775 temp, back to back to back to back hits. It's gotta another stir in her for sure, which is wild. Still using about 2/3 the material I would in the SBrunt. The runt is still the champ when it comes to speed with power, however, the elev8r feels way more powerful, with a cleaner flavor. Getting away from the brick made it really apparent how much flavor the wood imparted.

I think it's gotta get bumped up to 800 and a faster draw used to get thicker hits.

Quick update, the elev8r has taken over daily driver responsibilities from the runt.

Biggest negative of this vape is the heat up with coil. My cheap dabbing specialist controller will bring Temps up to 800F fairly quick, but I still let it set for a good ten minutes, to get a thorough heat soak. But man, once she is properly heated, goodbye!!

My coil setup with the Auber 300 allows me to be taking draws in about 2-3 mins at 600F...full heat soak in about 5-6 mins.

That's interesting, I'm not sure if it's the enail/coil that I'm using, or if my draw speed is too fast,.....

Decided to put the temp back down to 600F and put the timer on it for 6min. I'll report back in a few......

Yea, like I thought, a really weak hit. I let it heat up to 600F for 6min, with the nail reaching 600F around 2.5min. I also had to barely pull on my rig to get any actual vapor production. I'm not sure I would have gotten any vapor if I was pulling like normal.

I highly doubt that my draw speed is super high compared to others, so I think it's just my enail/coil. It works, so I'm just extra careful. :science:

Just curious, how long did you wait before hit #2 and how was it? I don't have a PID setup, but when torching, I usually get a weaker hit on the first one. The second is always a monster though.

BTW, love the rig you posted a pic of...very cool looking.

Try getting the coil to fit tighter around the heater piece.....or maybe squeeze the coils back together just a bit. I think the coil needs to be closer and have more contact points on the heater. That is why you have to crank the heat up so much in comparison.
