E-Nano from Epickai

How difficult is it to clean the ice stem? Can you advise us the procedure that you use? i would like to see a long version of the ice stem.

Also I wonder why EpicVape installs the screens with the "face" of the screen pointing to the floor?

I mean with the "comet" flying to the ground. I have always installed my mesh screens with the comet flying to the sky. I find them easier to scrape out the burnt tobacco that way. Because i only have to scrape the e-pick around the outer edge that way when dumping an old bowl.

@BabyFacedFinster, it may also be that my lungs/esophagus have adapted to tolerate the vapor after 2+ years of vaping with dry stem only. But in my experience i find a large difference between vaping out of the standard stem that comes with the unit when compared to the long stem. Ref: burning of the throat

I have my unit on the nightstand of bedroom and so to use a water bong I have to kneel down on the floor. And just in general, the extra steps and maintenance of having to dump and refill water in the bong....I find it to be alot less practical then just using a longer stem and vaping dry.

I also found that when using the water bong that something was "left behind". Like ordering a delivered pizza of 10 slices and only 8 slices arrived to my home. It felt like there was some "skimmage" being lost in the water. I didnt get as high OVERALL on the same amount of product. I could get fatter hits from the leverage on suction but there where fewer hits overall. When I did an experiment and writing it down my overall assessment was that 20% of the THC or terps had been sacrificed in transit.

You shouldn't need to mess with temps too much. For me, it's more about how much I want to fit in the fixed bowl. I know a lot of people worry about getting the heater too close to your herb. At a 6 to 6.5, which will vary from nano to nano, my herb can make total contact with the heater and still not char. In fact, most hits I pack make contact due to the fluffy nature of the herb. I stopped worrying about it once I found out it didn't matter. Regardless if I use adjustable or fixed I leave the temp the same. I generally only raise the temp if I'm vaping concentrates and only go lower if I want to magnify the flavor of the terp profile.

I soaked it in iso and ran hot water through it. Although I've only cleaned it once.

Appreciate the info, I’ve been playing with the ice stem after reading your post and I’ve actually gotten hits off of it. Definitely need more practice with it but was able to get hits without scorching. Rotating the nano and stem slightly while hitting it helped. I’m sure to have fun along the way while finding its sweet spot.

Also, try slowing down your draw speed. Let the stem do a heat soak by first sitting on the nano for 10-15 seconds, then do a slow but steady draw.

I only put a single scoop in cause it's all I can manage to really get. It measures out to about 4-6mg but I can use it all now. Before I got this glass piece I was putting double the amount in but it would char the top half while the rest stayed green.

I bought a Plenty a few weeks ago cause I had been wanting one and I like it a lot, but... compared to the Nano its more of a once in a while thing rather than a daily driver. I can clear the Nano stem in 3 passes max. In the Plenty, it takes a crapton of puffs. Most likely because of that, it makes me wheeze and when I was exclusively using the Nano I didn't wheeze at all -with the same setup for both. Sometimes I'm just in the mood for the Plenty but for daily medical use it's the E-Nano hands down.

The cord that came with the maple burl Nano I got earlier this year is awesome! it's so flexible and bendy.

I push my screen 1inch down, load size about 1/2inch, 5.5 on the dial and I'm off into the unknown.

I like full GonG’S however not packed.
My PLENTY use’s up my CANNABIS SUPPLY.
THE NANO is more EFFICIENT however after a harvest I use my PLENTY?

Sorry man what I actually meant is now that Epic offer options for this stem I’ll be ordering some.
I’ve always preferred using the glass screen but the bowl was way too small for me.
When I do my next epic vape accessories order I’ll add a couple of these.
I also need to order some 18mm gongs, these 14mm are so much harder to insert the screen into after cleaning.

How much deeper? Original honeycomb screens are less than 1/2 inch.

Im looking to buy a larger bong than my current 6 inch mini bong. What height do you recommend for personal use? I was measuring around 16 inches so that I dont have to bend over so much

The reason I said 16 inches is because that is the measurement from my mouth to the desk that the bong will rest on. But one annoyance I see already is that these taller bongs use 18mm and the GonG I have now is the smaller 14mm one.

I have a 12" beaker that I seldom use (wet or dry) with my Nano but I really enjoy using an 18" straight wall piece. The smaller volume and ease of clearing seem to be the biggest differences at play.

I can finally use the Nano with no water. I find the Ice stem a bit too short so I wriggled some of the high heat tubing from Delta3D over the mouth (of the ice stem) and cut the tubing at a foot, then did the same to the other end with the Sneaky Pete glass mouthpiece. I did not realize I had in fact thoroughly vaporized the entire amount in one go because the draw was smooth and pretty effortless, and tasted great while not even feeling hot. It also didn't feel overly dry either.

In my case after trumpeting the praises of the long stem I decided to go back to revisit using a bong with this E-nano. Its actually nice to have the versatility of both methods. But can somebody give me some advice to help me....... My GonG gets stuck to the bong and does not release smoothly. I tried using some Sesame oil to lubricate the tip if the GonG and that worked for a few hours but then I think the heat turned the oil into a sticky adhesive so now the situation is even worse. I have a really hard time "clearing the smoke" out of the bong because the GonG keeps sticking

One of my GonGs starting doing that, and worse, it was getting seriously stuck. Lubrication only helped temporarily. The thing that worked for me was to tightly wrap a few turns of that thin, white Teflon tape that plumbers use, around the GonG. The tape sticks to itself so it stays on.

Are there any cool mods that one can use to improve this vape bowl size? IMO that is the only downfall, the lack of a big bowl size. Seems to me that there is only so big that you can pack the stem and after that you just have to stir after every hit. I just would like to pack a .25 or so and not have to stir during the hit to finish it off. Again this is my only complaint but this vape isn't really a macrodoser either.

I tried using the elve8r bowl and putting the enano base down inside to see if that would work but never got good results. I was a '7' and didn't really get any vapor but maybe if I turn it up to 10 it would work better. Just seeing if anyone has any cool mods for this vape.

I altered the grind and screen placement from the OTB suggestions but those changes have their own limitations. In the end I stuck an LSV heater cover on a Da Buddha and went from there.

Thanks I will give that a try.

Received my Ice stem a few days ago, like the design, vapor nice and cool but I wish the "deeper bowl" could've been made 1inch exactly from the top.
