Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

So which SB is the hardest hitter? Looking for something that I can take massive hits with if wanted. I got a few box mods, like SPlinter and Tetrax, an enano, and elev8r. Just wondering if SBs would be worth adding to my lineup. What you guys think? Which type of SB would be the one to add as well?

I think all the sticky bricks are capable of big hits. The OG and Hydrobrick have larger bowls than the others, so there’s that. Check out the many YouTube vids - @nonamekevin has one taking big hits with his Runt here.

The difference with a sticky brick and most other vapes is like the difference in driving a manual transmission over an automatic. It’s not for everyone, and every hit won’t be perfect, but with a little practice it becomes intuitive.

I was torn between the runt and the og for strictly at home use.

I went with the runt for a few reasons. One was because the side facing flame intake seemed easier to use and easier to see while using.

I believe that it is also cheaper and easier to mate a runt to glass but I'm not 100% sure about that. And that also depends what other vape stuff you have laying around.

Additionally the runt and Junior have some interchangeable parts so I went with the runt because if I wanted a junior in the future, i can have some parts and different options.

Just some things to consider. you will be happy either way, I bet.

Troy at 420vapezone has a video on YouTube demoing and discussing the whole lineup it might help you choose.

You're correct, to mate the runt or Jr to water, it's as simple as purchasing the wpa that Sticky Brick Labs makes.

To mate the OG to water is a bit more involved. If you don't purchase the Hydra add on brick, which will convert the OG to essentially a hydrobrick, you have to get creative with misc pieces to make the OG work with water.

My OG is in the house!

directly vaped a few bowls, first three all good, fourth i´ve combusted but i think this was meant to happen to learn the device. :-) now i know where the threshold is.

first off i´ve tested a single flame creme brulee torch and a smaller three flame torch. i think the three flame is more effective because the flame doesn´t point to a single spot. i´ve been stirring the load after a single draw. what seems to be important is that you draw really slow in the beginning and speed up when you see vapor in the tube.

the thing i am not sure about is how deep you have to put the screen into the chamber, still testing on that. and i am testing when to stop the flame, seems also important. this is definitely a device where you have to experiment to fully understand it.

the aesthetics are awesome! the device is just beautiful to look at. the maple wood is giving it a great look. The OG is a fair bit smaller than i´ve expected so the Junior and Runt have to be really cute sizewise.

haptics are also great, the wood feels great to hold and the glass tube is high quality with a great feel on the lips, good size.

the flavor is GREAT, really pure and tasty. the effects are coming in strong after a few minutes, at first i was like "huh?" but then it creeped up on me and yeah, it is strong! for me this is a way better high than an electric vape, feels much warmer and more wholesome.

i am really satisfied so far, the device came barely used (the previous owner claimed to have used it 10times and just couldn´t get along with it), no burns in the chamber, it looked like new. the accessoires like the torch, screens and stuff were all unused and new too. but there were no restrictor discs, seems to be an older model from before they´ve included the discs. i´ve ordered two for 5 bucks just to have them to see the difference between no disc and disc.

i think all in all i´ve made a bargain with 100 bucks for the brick.

surely this is no mindless vape, you have to use your eyes and ears for this thing, you can literally hear the flame swooshing into the flame intake which also gives a feedback that you are hitting it right. but i think when you really master this device it is like second nature.

also i don´t see a reason to connect a water piece to this thing, it is super smooth to the throat and lungs. in fact it is much smoother than i thought it would be.

Loaded up the runt yesterday with some mid-shelf purple punch I snagged for a deal in OR. Wanted to compare theirs to my outdoor purple punch I harvested this year. The rec PP is definitely drier and cured for much longer than mine, so it grinds up fairly fine and somewhat powdery.

Loaded the bowl, tamped down, and heated up. Really tried pushing the runt for a long heavy draw, and on the exhale, there was way more vapor than I was expecting. Like one of those exhales where as soon as you're done you're like "ah shit, things are about to get weird." With all the surface area from the grind, this thing pumped out vapor!

Still haven't experienced anything faster/heavier than a sticky brick.

For you newer brick owners, has anyone tried the sticky pads for concentrates yet? I love the combo dabs through the runt, so I'm wondering how the pads do for pure concentrate use. :leaf::cheers:

Using liquid pad from mighty dousing Caps,
I just put the flame litle dipper and enjoy.
Usually I don't like wax in a weed vape because is very slow sessions but the brick is just amazing in power and flavor with wax without any problem

same here, i am slapping myself that i´ve slept on an OG Brick for so long...i just love it! had quite a few bowls for new year, this thing just delivers

i love the fact that i can load it up, take a deep hit and come back later, this is exactly the way i want to use a vaporizer

really glad that i´ve picked one up, maybe i will buy the HydroBrick addon for the OG later or jump directly into the deep end with the Hydrobrick Maxx. or maybe a Runt/Junior...
hehe the OG wasn´t my last Brick, that´s for sure!

I feel the Sticky Bricks are a litte underrated sometimes. They are so nice pieces of craftsmenship, which make lots of fun and deliver great results.

A Sticky Brick looks and does really well in each collection.

edit:
Played a bit glass Lego and built a Non Hydro Flip Brick, new year is starting creatively great :D

I really like it. You can see the dense of vape in the ashcatcher and so it's easy to react fast and adjust the distance of the flame to your needs.

The long airpath deliveres smooth vape with the Sticky Bricks typical great flavor :)

The only thing I'm missing with the Flip in general is an attached stiring tool like the Runt and OG got it.

The outer body is magnetized so you can stick one of the included tools into the vape.

At least the original flipbrick model is made this way
I think the magnets inside are strong enough that the magnetic force can hold light objects against the wood. My stir stick is slightly too heavy to hold against the wood firmly. Yes it stays there, but it's a weak connection, if you will.

The restrictor discs arrived today, have to say you can be way more mindless with those, i´ve put a big flame over the intake and no combustion.

but i tend to extract nearly the full bowl at once with the disc in, the feedback is not as good as without the disc. for fast extraction of a full bowl without special technique they seem great though.

No doubt, if you want to crush a bowl in as few hits as possible, the disk definitely makes it easier as it allows you to push the bowl to its limits.

yeah, i can take real big hits with the disk in. and i think the ABV has a darker colour and it is roasted more consistently.

i will use the disks for the next days to see the difference in everyday use
