Willie NELSON is a decent example: he just does edibles?
SSV is perfect 4 VAPING
I read an interview with him where he was trying to quit joints, or his wife was trying to make him.
And something about having a vape in every room, with some details about a pen, and a wand vape. I think I guessed it was a 7th floor vape by the description too!
He also had lots of his CBD coffee to drink with joints/vape.
The thing I thought was weird, when asked which of his name brand strains he preferred he just shrugged and basically said if it's better than 70s brickweed he approves it.
Something about all the types he used to be gifted on the road.

Reading the above article further, I was able to find this screenshot of a Harold and Kumar movie where they made an SSV famous for a while!

(Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay) amazing!

I found a decent deal?

$225 CAD on an Silver Surfer new in Canada? Where we don’t get cool things?? Specifically I mean, 7th floor would have customs here...

My Volcano Classic doesn’t hit as hard as my Plenty??

Can I get some use in with an SSV and Plenty/Classic or would that be redundant?

I was thinking an SSV could get some love in with my glass collection...

I have a SSV and a PLENTY!
The SSV will put some into a COMA!
The PLENTY is a FLAVOR tool. @LesPlenty what is your take?

Wait wuttt? Are you saying that the SSV is a coma machine and the plenty is a flavour tool???

I thought the plenty was strong I am merely a white belt lol

edit - can I use the hybrid or eq whip??

really hoping this is on the level of the volcano and the plenty! I found the eq to be very lacklustre!

FWIW...
I recently picked up a new surfer myself.
Over the course of maybe 5 years iv owned a few...& a couple Da Buddhas.
Element is the same...just differant angle & the ssv has a couple different wand to heater cover options...however i just use the GG wand & cover for water purposes.
The reason i went back to a surfer and packed everything else up besides my Volcano is that it is a MONSTER...IMO its the hardest hitter w/ the best flavor. .
As far as being chained to the whip i never really minded...i prefer to have my flower meet the vape vs. Packing it in it.
I learned the nuances & techniques initially on a ssv....my first vaporizer.
The Volcano is great...pure
But the SSV is a simple..solid unit that never fluctuates & is always ready to rock.

This all sounds pretty good! I’m window shopping...

Only problem up in Canada is that we don’t get a lot of 7th floor products. I don’t know any Canadian retailers that carry accessories.

To be honest, I want to get a SSV but after owning an EQ, I’m scared of getting vapes with a small chamber. They don’t get me to where I want to be. I really am starting to dig vapes with a wide chamber. Only problem is wide chambers can be huge and require a lot of flower.

Another problem for me is that I can’t customize my package. The place that has SSVs up here, well, they just randomly had some in the basement. When I asked the guy at the shop about the SSV, he asked me in reply, “Are you a time traveller?”

I really would want the “silver thingy” that holds the wand in place. I don’t think it comes in the basic setup? Basically, it would be the basic package. Don’t I have to hold the bowl in place?

Like I said, I’m window shopping, sorry if I hijacked this thread...

As someone who is almost a month off nicotine, I’ve been searching for heavyweights. I used to smoke moles/pops/yachts everywhere calls them different things.

As of right now, I dig my Plenty and I dig my Classic at full temp. I’m a dirty person for the max temps i know i know.

I really want to **** with the SSV! But the lack of accessories (trying to avoid duties) has me thinking it’s more of a wish than a practical purchase over a Mighty.

I say go with your heart bro. You clearly want the SSV. And those are logical concerns but I reckon it would probably be worth swallowing that GT in the long run to get something you may enjoy an enormous amount over time and not regret in the least.

It may bring you some happiness and as we know that life is short.

Of course I'm so lucky myself that my awesome grow is sending me it's unused unit to try.

All this talk and kind of ressurected hype has really piped up my excitement. Except I think I will have to wait until some time in the New Year but can't wait and it's nice to have something to look forward to.

SSV is great. Works for one person or however many. Excels is puffing down large amounts in my opinion. I have all 3 wand styles and the ground glass is great. Never really used other 2 yet.
You dont want the thing to hold the bowl in place imo. You hit it then put it down. Not leave it in the heater.

Thanks for input! I tend to really like vapes and then get bored of them in a couple of months...

Even my (once) well-loved one month old HR Fierce is probably going to be sold soon...crazy that in four weeks I’m over it haha

Also, I’m hoping @LesPlenty may weight in with a comparison of the plenty and SSV :)

I really love desktops! I really love heavyweights. I don’t need a desktop as I have the classic and plenty. I really didn’t like the eq.

last one! I’m not really a huge fan of whips. But I want something for my glass collection...

I have the old school Da Buddha and I feel the same, easy smooth clouds. The SSV upwards heater joint seems like a plus instead of the straight out, any other differences? I use my tubo whip sometimes and that is shorter and helps contain the unwieldiness of the whips.

One big thing I like about the SSV vs the DaBuddha is that with the SSV I'm not stuck with the Conical Ground Glass connection. I feel that both the Original and the Spherical Ground Glass connections are definitely superior.

I always told him to make a water pipe adapted bowl with the original wand style connection and make a small water piece where the bowl is level enough to just put it in front and match right up to the og heater cover.. no ground glass no whip just pure vape.
I made my own original wand style bowl (old oil dome adapter flared to seal.. think sticky brick intake with a screen halfway up to hold the herb) and it was a beast with no whip in the way hits were devastating and super tasty complete extractions, medicated in minutes but always sat there and Vaped til I couldn't anymore or less made me draw on very thing in my garage back then lol

Since when did the ssv come with a spherical ground joint I loved the original design ain't broke don't fix it

I have the original, and I like it. As long as I can direct the air, I have to stir a lot less!

Hello all...
I contacted 7th floor/elev8 about making me...or to even produce for themselves a glass mouthpiece/wpa.
The ditanium has a titanium nub like mouthpiece that doubles as a wpa...but it gets nasty fast...and its ti...
I am using an 18m to 14m adapter as a m.p....the tubing slips in the 18mm side perfectly and the 14 side is your m.p. or wpa...
Very caveman but the ability to have water or dry at any given time is clutch.
I believe a professionally blown m.p./wpa from them would be game-changing.
Like i said...i messaged them a couple weeks ago w/ no reply.
I guess ill hit Instagram and have a couple blown...ill report back.
Thanks!
