TinyMight / TM 2

Shit Snacks

Milaana. Lana. LANA. LANAAAA! (TM2/TP80/BAK/FW9)
On track - meaning?

Just a turn of phrase! Stop fishing for some sort of timeline or specific date! :p

[I still wonder why everyone's writing „TinyMight“ - it's „Tinymight“]

I've seen it Tiny Might too, but I like TinyMight so that is what I use (I mean really I like none of them, but I digress)

Yeah – I eventually got used to it and don't think of the Mighty when reading the name now, but at first it was a bit “um... please?”. Writing the name in camelCase (which is getting a bit outdated anyway I think...) underlines the naming faux pas more than it should imo, but that's just me. :-)

camelCase! Never knew it was called that, but I always liked it (as you can see by the list of vapes in my signature) not sure why...

Anybody know if the cooling units are modular and will fit into other vapes? I'd love to buy one for my Splinter. I'm sure I could make it fit somehow.

There isn't anything in the cooling unit you can't buy off the shelf. its two of these guys a screw and a few washer and nuts, its amazing how effective it is.

I use camelCase all the time when programming, in JavaScript it's the naming convention for functions and variables (that's why I know the term at all). :-)
Indeed for Java and technical convention but isn’t the product name “Tinymight” (not TinyMight)? “Tinymight” isn’t camel case, “TinyMight” is. Unless you think it’s a single new word ;)

On topic of this wonderful sounding device, how do you switch from on-demand mode to session? Has anyone used the session mode and enjoyed it more than on-demand? Sounds like most so far are going on-demand. :peace:

EDIT: if anything and two words, Tinymight is mixed case :)

That's exactly what I was saying. Wasn't I? :-)

You can't switch from one mode to another I think, you set the mode when booting the device.

On demand: press button three times
Session: press button three times and hold the button for two (?) more seconds

Both modes can be distinguished easily by the LED, blinking means on-demand, steady light is session.

Sounds like most so far are going on-demand.

Even when sharing I always use the on-demand mode, because then it just stands by in between hits and will let my friends have any time in the world to ponder longwinding, pointless ideas without me telling them to please take their draw because the battery is dying or the herb cooking away. :-) The heat up time in the on-demand mode is very short, ~5 seconds when it's cold, ~2-3 seconds when it's in use, so... I'm sure there are user scenarios where the session mode is more practical (sharing with strangers on the dancefloor? edit: also when in great pain or being in a state where even pressing a button for a few seconds is not possible – sorry, was locked in recreational mode), but I myself only tested it twice. I do think it's cool to have that option, though.

Khelek41 has an IG livestream up for assumably the next 12 hours in which, about 70% into the stream, she demos the TM. You must be a registered IG user & be subscribed to khelek41 in order to view the stream.

Anyone know what size o-ring and type I need? I was cleaning my unit and one broke while removing it.

@nofingmiddlename Better ask the maker directly, I'm sure the diameter alone is not enough to make sure you'll get o rings that will work. He might even have some to send you.

I've kinda see it coming, those o rings are bitchy to take off when using fingernails or the like. I just pinch them a bit and grab the loop to pull them down, that works pretty well. But it would be cool to see future devices coming with some extra o rings.

I really hate these IG videos that are only up for a number of hours. I always find out a couple hours too late. Why can't someone just link a youtube video to their IG?

Some thoughts on the Mistvape dosing capsules, which I finally got a few days ago; they work very well, but for me they make the Tinymight behave a little different. They seem to cool down the heat coming from the coil a bit, because I find myself having to dial in 8 or even 9 instead of my usual 6 to 7½.

I recommend not packing a too small amount, my first attempt with .1g resulted in nice effects and full extraction, but rather wispy vapor. ~.2 - .25g work much better.

But even then the dosing capsules will stretch a session compared to a regular filled stem quite a bit, .2g will give me about 8 to 10 hits with the capsule (about 5-6 w/ regular). So the capsule hits are not quite as dense and hard hitting for me, while the taste remains to be excellent. The capsules will be the tool of choice for those who seek thorough extraction; the abv is much more even compared to the regular filling method (not that I mind that too much, but it's definitely worth mentioning).

I prefer the regular method, that's when the TM shines for me. But I bet the capsules are cool for on the go, like a walk in the park (can't test, having bad winter weather over here). They tame the TMs hard hitting qualities a bit, which makes it easier to be shared with those with a lower tolerance. They make the experience quite a bit more mellow without taking away the fantastic taste of the TM. So yeah, I'm happy to have them. :-)
