So this mod is called a REO Woodvil. It was hand-made in 2015 by a fellow named Rob who created the OG Squonkers called REOs Mods. It's a mechanical squonker that was gifted to me by Mrs Sloth and holds a special place in my heart. Little did I know that four years later, I'd be topping it with a wenge Splinter Z and vaping cannabis.
It's truly a match-made in heaven. Kind of. It vapes, but I just really prefer TC for this atomizer. Other than that, it feels great in hand and looks like it was cut from the exact same chunk of wood. I must say that I do not recommend using a mechanical mod unless one really takes it upon themselves to learn ohm's law and all about battery safety.
You'll also notice a gorgeous tool for scraping/stirring in a few of these pics. I purchased this from @RogueGuy and absolutely love it! This one is made of walnut and is sufficiently dark to join in on the woody action. Really happy with it, I've been putting it to good use

How did it happen?
Yeah, not the lowest price in the world and the ergos of the Paranormal are a bit funny looking fit-wise but my ZV1 is dreamy on that mod and the Lost Vape DNAc mods seem better made than their Think Vape or Hcigar counterparts.

Now I think I understand what the situation is like (since it's very difficult to look inside)
Before, the heater screen was raised, now there is a space of a couple of millimeters between the end of the glass and the beginning of the screen and in those few mm some wood is left uncovered.
I wouldn't want the heat to end up damaging the wooden part ...
