How to store a VapCap with class when you are on the go?
Just use this ebony storage tube with his two tone narra roots lid !
(There's a magnet on the bottom too)
Inner part: 11cm long for a 11mm inner diameter, so perfect for an omnivap, a woody ti xl,...

let me introduce you this red amboyna burl stand, with resin inclusion and turquoise... It is looking a new home.
The spalted beech bowl is pretty funny with his resin inlay... A touch of green!
Here comes my new batch of stems!
All of them are all full glass air path, as the vc tip directly fit on the GlassCharlie (@davesmith) glass tube.
For a better flavor, an easier way to clean it and a better draw as the inner diameter is now 8mm instead of 6mm. This new diameter brings new sensations!
The 4 on the top left are the shorter models ( 7cm) and the ones at the first plan are the king size (8,5cm) .
All of them are available with a standard glass tube or a spiked one for a better cooling.
The glass tubes just slide in their wood sleeves, it's really simple and you can have species like amboyna burl (red or yellow), satine bloodwood, yew, purple narra, bocote, philippine ebony, chestnut burl, and more to come very soon...
Each piece has a turquoise inlay to personnalize it.

Another custom order... In local wood from Brittany...
This shorty is made from Breton walnut and a boxwood inlay
It work with a 10 mm glass stem and a stainless steel ring to fit the tip in.
I really like this one... A rastawave one, in Judas tree ,with an acrylic and red narra inlay...

I have made a storage tube dedicated to this stem:
This tube is made of boxwood slightly spalted with also a red narra dot.
The lid is made of spalted beech with turquoise inlay
They are waiting for a new home
The 420 day has seen the birth of this stem:
Red amboyna burl and Philippine ebony with alu accents.
Here, this stem is made to be used with a 10mm od glass tube. I really like the airflow with this diameter!

Are they glass stems held captive in some way, such as with O-rings, or do they shift and slide up and down? Maybe it's just a matter of close tolerances and a friction-fit ... but wood can swell, etc., and I wonder if the glass ever gets stuck and becomes difficult to remove for cleaning.

@Mono Loco , the glass tube stay captive near the vc tip. You were talking about close tolerance, that's it!
The drill diameter is slighty smaller at the end. No o-ring. Simply wood and glass
Yes, you are right, wood can swell. So I do a first drill, wait some days and drill again. The risk to see the glass tube stuck is far less like this.
But it's better to move a little the glass tube between sessions, like a maintenance.

It's the first wood and glass vc stem with a carb hole!
You can keep the wood mouth piece or not, if you prefer the glass contact.
You just have to turn the glass tube or the mouth piece to close the carb hole.
