Especially if someone has OCD, not saying you do or anything, just pointing that out as I had not thought of that aspect of the Plenty as mine sits on my workbench with a lot of other less than pristine looking tools.

Well, I did it. I bought a Plenty, with a Veteran's Day sale for 20% off, and it's finally here. It's similar to the Mighty and getting it up and running was easy. All in all, I like it a lot. My only gripe won't be a gripe anymore once my chamber reducer and new cans arrive. I've gotten a few good sized draws from it but it needs more material than I want to give it at the moment. Even with the reducer pad. If I had not lost my Mighty's pad it might work better (small pad over small load with larger pad over it to keep it in place).

The wide open draw is strange, but I don't mind since it tastes good and it smells amazing while heating up. The coil actually works and I can use it without water fine. Pretty happy with it and at the price I paid it's a great vape for my collection.

Once for fun...the Plenty has 3 rubber feet on one side, this is where it is meant to be sat down, it cannot fall over if it is already on its side.:myday:

I've got it on its side on my bedside table. It's uh, if I want it on my desk I need a stand.

Ugh I find the plenty beautiful in a steampunk sort of way. Its like a magical power tool.

That said, it’s kind of annoying storing it while not in use. I know delta3d sells a cool stand. I also know they sell covers that prevent getting dust on the heating element. Would those work on volcano? Too plentifully medicated to find the link rn lol

I use the brush as a stand. Does anyone use two or three brushes? Would that even work? :brow:

You have to at least cover the screen with material before covering with the pad to keep the load in place as any air you pull through will find the path of least resistance and end up not vaping properly.

I did cover the screen but the layer of material is too thin and it shifted after I picked it up. I use such a small amount, kind of not wanting to get too blasted. I find that the high feels different with this, it's... stronger physically but I don't quite feel it the same as my E-Nano mentally. However, I need to experiement. My reducer and cans will be here tomorrow, then it's easy to use tiny.

Newbie with input here. I believe you can just fill the screen. It’s okay.

However, I believe you should fill the screen and then try to get flower on the entire metal ring on the outside of the mesh screen. Loosely packed but make sure flower is even on the mesh screen and the metal ring. Pop on the liquid pad.

This gives me at least ten minutes of vapor. I’m going to try to perfect this method right now. Going to bust up a little gg4 and come back with results!

edit - after some very preliminary testing seems like .5-.6 is the optimal amount with the liquid pad. session felt like it lasted twenty minutes.

edit x2 - ugh I was feelin too confident with my method. latest bowl is .5 but was only seven minutes :( maybe I need to pack more

very medicated but I think I will get a volcano soon for daytime use.

my impressions of the unit are amazing - it’s like a hookah of medication.

however, I feel like the plenty has many recreational benefits. large chamber. looseish temperature settings. however, the effects are very nice. i’d love to get a volcano.

instead of seeing the plenty and volcano as desktops, would you consider the plenty (and by extension the volcano classic) to be recreational devices and the volcano (digit/hybrid) medical devices?

S&BAS; I can’t be the only one!

Well, I realize now why it wasn't staying in place. The screen inside of the black part that screws onto the top of the chamber was not down all the way and one side was stuck inside the housing, so when I put it over the load it wasn't pressing up against the liquid pad. Now, I can hear the screen meeting the pad and it feels tighter.

Now it works with my dinky amount fine, tho I put 2 scoops for a more even layering.

This thing makes me feel high in a way the E-Nano doesn't.

I’m back up in here with no liquid pad.

I decided to pack about .7-.8 and reached for the cooling pad...thought to myself, shouldn’t I just put an intsy tiny bit more?

Taste was phenomenal without the pad. Honestly, its sooooo strong at dial 5 with about 800mg to 1000mg of flower in there.

Definitely has the ability to get you even more medicated on those last pulls. With liquid pad those last pulls are ass tasting. Specifically the pulls when you up the dial to max 7.

Without the pad the vapor seems to taper off more gradually.

Honestly, sometimes it’s meh. I had a few gram bowls and they didn’t last longer than twenty minutes. Lame. I appear to be talking out of my ass!

Could anyone talk about their method?

Fine/coarse grind? Loose/tight pack? Flower on the ring around the screen for conduction? Liquid pad dropped onto flower or placed carefully in the cooling coil? Hopefully that last one makes sense...

I fill mine with medium to coarse grind (SpacaCase)
Old way,
img_20190417_165604-jpg.8602

Just squashed down and excess tapped off,
img_20190417_165700-jpg.8604

Now I use a 24mm socket and funnel
img_20190615_171219-jpg.10044

Tamp it down hard through the top of the socket with the end of your S&B brush,
img_20190615_171452-jpg.10045

Fold the sides of the volcano in and screw the black top on.
Now mount the bowl on the Plenty, what I do now is unscrew the black Filling Chamber Cap a small bit(an hour if you think of the cap as a clock) now you can turn the whole unit down until the tab on the orange Filling Chamber Housing will go from 6 o'clock to 7 o'clock, now turn the black Filling Chamber Cap to back tight.
I only use 7 on the dial, slow long draws will get it going, usually the 2nd or 3rd pull will get fat vapor depending on how long you can draw. I can get well over an hour out of one bowl, you have to ride the heat cycle after a while to keep getting good vapor. I wil even just keep breathing in through the Plenty and out every breath late in the session and the Plenty will still pump out decent clouds if you can keep doing it!
Another thing you can do is 'nipple' the black Chamber Cap Screen so it has a bump to help compress the load more and it will keep your capsule or load from shifting in the reducer(If you ever use it, you don't have to use the caps in the reducer) too.:myday:

Hawt damn!

That’s easily double the flower I’m using!

Will nipple the screen for my night cap.

Wow anything around 6 on my new Plenty leaves me in a coughing fit.

Currently using the Plenty to help me kick smoking cigarettes.

Will have to experiment more! I told myself if I can quit the cigs I’ll gift myself a volcano :)

Currently using the Plenty to help me kick smoking cigarettes.
It helped me to kick a 60 a day 35+ year habit...Plenty for effects, along with my OG Arizer Air as I could pack it tight and toke on it like a fat joint(for feel, run on mid temps for flavor).:myday:

I believe a Volcano herb chamber is about the same size as a Plenty, I have filled to the top of the blach filling chamber before topping with a screen and J-hook for a 1.25g load that the Plenty vaped all evenly just fine, it is a monster when driven hard or can sip nicely once warm, (ride the heater later on in the sesh).

Edit, I used to start on 6 but found it easier to just take smaller draws early on, easy to judge when mated with a glass J-hook.

Hello good people,

I've also joined the Plenty family and I am so glad I did, what a vape. Definitely most potent and
similar to smoking, it just puts me on my ass, the effects are very strong.

A full bowl or bowl with a liquid pad is too much for me, so I use the reduced chamber with capsules.
I agree that Plenty with capsules is a little bit different experience, but nothing beats five capsules
loaded and ready for easy swap, nice and clean, hassle-free.

I've adopted everything that you all suggested, orange part first, nippled screen, 14mm-18mm male adapter
and a J-hook (my preferred method, don't really like a SS coil, it can't be compared with glass).

I've even started to like the look and ergonomy, found the perfect way to hold it and since I got it
I haven't touched anything else. Plenty is so powerful and easy to use and it takes just one to three hits to blast you off to the stratosphere.

Don't have anything I want to add, I just wanted to share my admiration for this beast and thank you all
for suggestions.

It just boggles my mind how different vaporizers can have such different effects with the same material.
I guess that is why we need all these vaporizers, but I can't see what vape can hit stronger than Plenty?

Have a great weekend everybody

I have to second this. Getting a Plenty did not stop VAS, it maybe made it worse. I like the effect from the E-Nano, but the Plenty has this physical feeling that is just... it feels amazing, makes my body intensely tingly and seems to bring out the full effect of the body high. Now, I want an Arizer Solo 2 or Air 2, and a Dynavap and you know I've been eyeing the <insert device name here>...

Being able to use a different vape for a different feeling is actually amazing too.

Day five without nicotine woooo!

I still love my Plenty but I’m kind of annoyed with the scratches on the S/S ring. I’ve had it for a week and it looks so shitty! Not in the airpath but it really is not giving me good vibes.

Why would there be a contact ring near the airpath? Besides this issue...it’s gotta be the best for people transitioning to combustion! Really helping me quick the nicotine since the plenty effects are sooooo good.

And I finally spilled my first bowl last night - 1g - trying to sit the Plenty down mid way through a session :(

:hmm: I just wasted another gram! Sorry for the double post.

Putting the heating chamber on is becoming a real chore. I try to get the orange part on first but I feel like I can hear it scratching the heater ring.

The last two times I tried packing a 1g bowl have been so infuriating. The cooling coil popped out on me midway through this session! And last two sessions have had me waste 2g combined! The past two times I removed the chamber and coil, it rolled onto the ground and on impact (two feet) flew open.

I don’t believe any tabs on damaged. Do you lovely people find that the heating chamber isn’t as secure when you put the orange part on first? At this point, I’m just going to have to accept that I’m a klutz and I have to put the heating chamber on with the coil. I find that when I put the orange part on first, the black part definitely doesn’t seem as secure? Maybe I’m doing something wrong.

Anyway, between losing two grams on my last two sessions and not having nicotine in five days, I’m pissed!

Edit - went back through this thread, and I know it’s user error. I’ll experiment more. For the time being, I’m going to attach the black and orange chamber parts together to get a feel for those little tabs on the bottom :(

Hey Everyone,

Gotta say the Plenty has exceeded my expectations, so simple to use and the vape quality is perfect every time. No need to fuss around and make sure everything is perfect, just pack and go.

My question is around maintenance, specifically cleaning. I probably go overboard with keeping my vapes clean, and I don't know when or how to clean the spiral intake of the Plenty. I'm sure it's here somewhere in the 100 pages, but is there a standard way to do it? How often does it need to be cleaned? I have an extra for eventual replacement, but obviously I want to make this one last as long as possible.

Thanks!

I find that I need to soak the stainless steel cooling coil about once a week, as it gets all that honey building up, it seems to produce less vapor. Nothing beats a clean chamber/cooling coil on the Plenty. I just soak the stainless steel chamber, black plastic ring, and stainless steel cooling coil in 91% iso alcohol and then rinse well with hot water and Dawn dishwashing soap, another rinse, dry everything off, reassemble, repack, and it's back to knocking my "bleep" in the dirt lol.

I always fill and assemble the black and orange parts before attaching to the Plenty, those little tabs only break if you push quite hard on them.

Except for glass, I have been looking at these too,

Hey guys, I got myself a Plenty a week ago, found a used one for a price I couldn't refuse. It's a monster hitter for sure, oh boy. Compared to my Arizer (Air & ArGo) and Dynavap vapes, it's massive doses! There's gotta be a full gram in that chamber. I've used the pad to do half chambers, takes a little longer to heat up but it works well.

I may not use it daily because it truly is a stash killer (and , but if I need a large dose of CBD or want to get annihilated quickly, I know which vape to fire up. I've noticed I don't feel like vaping for a couple of hours after clearing a bowl in the Plenty, it's that strong.

It's my first S&B vape, I have to admit the build quality is superb. The materials are really good and it's neat they sell parts for relatively cheap.
