Multi-brand Planet of the Vapes ONE

On the topic of heat, just curious, what temps should use with the POTV ONE? I've been using the POTV ONE for about half a year and I've used only one setting. I watched a YouTube video and was suggested to raise temp to 380-390. Been thinking about reducing to see how low I can go and still produce decent vapor.
Anyway, today I found some CBD dominant strain called "Shirley Temple" and was wondering, since I've been vaping at the 380-390F° range with high THC dominant strains, should I change the temp to gain the best CBD vapor quality. Do different temps affect different cannabidiol's, ie: THC vs CBD? Anyways thx in advance for any response!:leaf:

Edit: I believe there's another thread that talks about temps. Anyways still interested in POTV ONE temp experiences. Thx again!

Some folks like to temp step through a bowl/fill. I am one of those folks.

On most of my vapes I'll start off a new bowl at 380f depending on the vape and if needed, allow 15 seconds or so for some heat soaking of the bowl before taking the first hit. Take a couple of hits at 380f, temp step to 392 when 380 stops feeling worth it or there is no visible vapor, then 405f and then max. Some temp-steppers will start at a lower temp then 380f. The benefits of temp-stepping instead of just jumping to the higher temps is that the good flavor will last longer, you'll get more hits and usually it's less harsh starting at the lower temps. If I'm looking to get right at the high quickly I'll start in the 390's and when that's not producing I go to max.

I don't worry about strain when I'm deciding on temp. I pay more attention to the herb itself for things like how dry, sticky or dense it is. The other benefit of temp stepping is you get a good idea what temps work best for the herb you're working with on the first bowl.

As far as temperature dependent effects....there have been pages upon pages of posts about the topic by some very smart people so I'll leave it to them.

My One and dosing caps are getting here by the end of the week. Super pumped to get it, any must-have accessories? I got the bent glass stem (for convection on water, I use my Tera, the One will probably be more of a walking-to-class vape), any cases, mods etc I should consider?

Find a rubber cap for your stem. The airpath on the One is short so smell escapes easily. If you can't, just cut some cork to size.

The Fury's silicone MP protector fits the One's plastic MP.

I got mine used, so it only came with the bent glass MP and four dosing caps. Conceptually, I really like the look and pocketability of the standard mouthpiece, but I'm happy with what I've got rn. :)

When I bought mine I got it with the little bubbler with the bent mouthpiece. It's quite a nice little bubbler, but it's not my go to mouthpiece. My go to mp is the 14mm @DDave wand from his eq complete kits. I think it's also sold as a dynavap water piece adapter. It's about 110mm long and cools the vapour as much as, if not more than, the little bubbler.

I'd encourage anyone with the 14mm wand to give it a try.

The Secret Discovered!

Any who have received an Arizer EQ Ultimate Mod Kit with a 110mm mouthpiece, you have also received the "New OG VapCap Waterwand".

I mean, why not. Since I was having the piece made anyway, why not make it to suite both applications (EQ MultiFunction Mouthpiece & VapCap OG Waterwand!)

Enjoy!

What do people think is better the mini bubbler or the curved mini bubbler?
I fancy doing a high temp full load without coughing, will only be used occasionally probably.

Well, I'm looking for a replacement for my pax2 and after reading quite a bit I was in doubt between the Argo and the Miqro, but thanks to fellow Naddude he gave me the path of the POTV ONE.
From what I read, it covers all my expectations of a good Vaporizer.
I have looked at the option to order it from the UK, but the price of the accessories at the end does not compensate with the shipping price, from POTV I get more accessories at the same cost.
A pity the shipping price, I see it a bit exaggerated, I usually ask many things from the USA and a
USPS Priority Mail International does not exceed $ 25, if it were not for that, the paypal key on my keyboard would already be used.
Do you know if the discount code still works? It does not work for me

Anyone else having issues with the accessory attachment being pretty loose? It does not snap on as snugly as I would like and its very easy to dislodge accidentally. The vape has actually fallen off my glass rig when using the WPA because the accessory attachment came loose :ugh: and it seems to be getting a bit worse with time.

I'm going to contact POTV about this but was wondering if anyone has dealt with this (and maybe there is a DIY fix to get snug fit?)

:peace:
