Discontinued Vape-Or-Smoke Vaporizer

i'm sure that you can get to the point where you're getting all you need from your herb, and at the same time, avoiding combustion.

it will take time to surpass the learning curve of a lighter-based vape.

another thing, you can't see vapor.

Haha ok go figure a vaporizer seller wins the first Vape-Or-Smoke! So just for fun we are going to give another one out for free. Aren't we awesome?

Lets make this a quick one. I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 42. First person to email the right number wins their very own VOS Ninja edition vaporizer!

I didn't realize he was a vape salesman too though gonna have to check that out. :)

weedemon,
Once gain Puffitup shows itself to be IMO the vaporizing site which cares most about this forum. To those about to vapeorsmoke, we salute you.

Hmm common OO I am doing the review after 3 days of playing with it... and I'm pretty sure there is no more lurning curve left for me there... BTW I am getting everything out of my meds and stated it is possible to avoid subcombustion! Last but not least, lets not say vapor is always invisible, cause that is not true (yes I know the dictionnary definition of vapor! :D )... or I have bionic eyes that see invisible stuff daily!

PuffItUp is an awesome company, and really fair! I discussed with Randy about the fact he could send my contest gift unit to someone else as I had already received one and am about to sell them in EU!
I am happy that Charlie receives one as he was one of my choices! Donno if mine is coming towards me or not, but anyhow if it is, it will be used for a promotional launching gift too! ;) BIG UP PUFFITUP and keep up the great work!

My friend recently had the opportunity of trying one. He said there was zero learning curve with the VOS. He really liked it. And he was getting visible vapor every time. He owns a VG, so his experience with that might've made it easier for him.

Hmmm..not a big fan of butane in my Vaporizers. Does it require "high-quality" butane like the other Butane Vaporizers?
in the sense that cheap butane tends to clog all lighters, yeah. if it's cheaper to replace the lighter rather than use better butane, then go for the cheap butane, i have plenty of sub 1$ refillables that have bit the dust after using cheap butane.

vapor is a term used in chemistry to describe individual molecules that have overcome their attracting forces. and it would be impossible for the human eye to see a single molecule.

so you've seen individual molecules have you?

no, what you have seen is vapor condensate, or a fine mist that forms when vapors condenses onto condensation nuclei.

most people confuse hashy taste (CBN boiling range) with "combustion" or "sub combustion".

if you combust, you will know right away, because it will taste like smoke, like when you used to smoke.

As stated, I know the dictionnary definition... Just saying the common usage of word "vapor" on this forum is the visible blue/white exhale = vapor condensate! We are not going to change all the posts with "condensation nuclei" are we? ;)
And again OO, I really know when I combust/when I vape. And I certainly do the difference between hashy taste & ashy taste ... but you are right all the way!

FLskwat,
My initial impressions are almost all good. This is a effective, durable (almost indestructible) vaporizer which has great potential. The wrap-around screen in the bowl is very, very useful for vaporizing and I wish it were made of stainless steel. The build quality is very high and hits are very tasty. I'll make sure to post a more complete review when I feel I've had enough time with it.

A thousand thanks to Puffitup.com. Randy sent me a few new grinder styles to beta test as well and they are all awesome!

How big are the clouds.
Depends how hard you rip it. ;)

I've gotten clouds on par with bong rips, but I wouldn't recommend that cuz your throat will be on fire for the next 5 minutes, haha.

Unrelated; Glad to see everyone's enjoying the Vape-or-Smoke! Thought you guys would like to know that the atomizers, as well as the new particulate traps (which are AMAZING!) should be available in a few weeks. I got my atomizer about a week ago, and it's truly incredible. If you hit it like you mean it, you'll be billowing clouds of vapor like you're smoking shisha, it's insane!

SS screens. You'll be a bit upset to learn that, as far as I know, ss screens are not in the works. I'll let my sources know of your desire for them, though, and I'll let you know what's up.

which on do you prefer iolite or vape-or-smoke? is it fair to compare the two? i have both of these categorized as portables that run on butane.
