Fixed for you @RBTcole. Like @Shit Snacks mentioned, imgbb.com works and I posted these on postimages.org.

Looks sweet! I was kind of on the fence about the brass battery hatch, but seeing it here, I think it looks fantastic. I do think the glass joint looks a little on the smallish side. From the pics, there seems to be more wood surrounding the glass than on my Mi2 (about 2mm).

I did a quick scan of the thread, and it seems that there haven't been any pics posted directly here, only links. Hope this is okay, these are older pics with the copper battery hatches and a few other cosmetic differences:

I'm seeing 2 different models here:
Note the difference in the air holes, screws and the mouth piece.

So which one of the 2 is it that I'd receive if I order? :hmm:

I think the last series of pictures is the final version.

The first pic in both mine and @Ramahs post is the most up to date. It incorporates the changes that Ryan has been discussing both here and on IG: Brass battery hatch that matches the new bottom plate, stylized air inlet, more rounded corners on the button-facing side of the body and thicker glass. I don’t recall if the tapered mouthpieces come with the unit, but they are available for sale separately on the RBT site.

Only difference in the pics is the hardware (Brass vs silver and copper; i thought the silver thumbscrew looked sick as hell- too bad)

and the tapered mouthpiece which I believe is going to be included as the preorders passed 100...

intake hole is the rbt triangle on both, just a weird angle

A milaana 3 sample will be arriving to Ryan’s this week so hopefully some demo videos are coming very soon!

I think black hardware would be cool....but I do like the silver as well!

I hope they use a tapered MP for the stock stem.........;)

Hey everyone! Ryan did one more live today so I was holding off posting so I could combine it all. Main points from the unveiling were...

The ceramic heater that looks awesome. I’ll post a photo of the screenshot of it, can someone tell me the best way to post photos to FC?

Plunger driven battery contact, super reliable and very good contact for 18650’s

Wiring on the inside is really cleaned up as far as connections go.

The final model will be a bit skinnier. Going to bring it in 1mm on either side.

The screw on the bottom plate will be Allen wrench not Phillips.

Still deciding on pick color for the top. There is a white option, Grey/black, and tortoise shell. May do 2 if we get to a certain preorder number.

And to close the unveiling of the milaana 3 IG live Ryan got really high using the 3 and went to bed haha.

Today’s live was just Ryan taking apart and reassembling the milaana 3, nothing more than what I put up there^

And Ryan showed off some wood burned units from @kush.coffee on IG. Going to do a giveaway of a milaana 2 and Splinter Z wood burned on IG.

I believe that’s all!

VAS symptoms triggered... Just might have to jump on this preorder. How much real risk is there of combustion? Do you have to try pretty hard to reach that point? It seems like Ryan holding the button down all the way through all three draws. I never never never never want to combust.

The takeaways from this promo vid for me are getting a definitive wood type: Ipe or Brazilian Walnut if this link is correct: https://www.wood-database.com/ipe/

And noticing for the first time the button is essentially in the exact same location as the Milaana 1 & 2, but as a result of replacing the wood cover with a metal plate, it ends up being situated much closer to the bottom of the unit. I wonder how much it will change ergonomics. It's kind of tough to see, but I took some screencaps from the video:

It makes sense as the button mechanism still has to sit under the heater so it can't realistically be raised too much. Still looks awesome, and good to hear that things are on schedule. Can't wait until December.:tup:
