Fuck smart phone manufacturers and the obsolescence they build in. It's not only harmful to your pocketbook, but it takes perfectly working devices and leaves them useless only to contribute to our environments demise.

Fuck idiots who should NEVER be behind a customer service counter.
I purchased an HP ink cart from Walmart Marketplace and discovered on arrival that it expired next month. I bought this as my backup as I always do when I load ink carts so I probably won't need it for 3 to 6 months, one month of expiration is unacceptable. So I followed the directions for return precisely. I used the same packaging it came in and sealed it up completely so that all Walmart needed to do was throw on a label and send it on its way. Instead the asshole behind the counter RIPS OPEN THE PACKAGING and manhandles the cartridge box squishing and creasing it.
I took it back from him and closed it up as best I could and he covers the whole thing in packing tape. I won't be surprised if the vendor doesn't want to give me my full refund.
I know I am going to have to go ballistic with Walmart, but I am NOT eating this return.

Sorry, I needed to get that off my chest. FUCK IDIOT CS AGENTS...

Fuck companies that use a slight of hand approach to setting prices so that it's almost impossible to know what the final price will be before completing the transaction.

Fly round-trip for just $75!!!! Sounds great! BUT by the time you pick seats for each flight so everyone can sit together and the tax is finally added .... it's double the original cost shown. Then you get to the airport and they charge you for luggage both ways so it's more than double the original cost shown.

Ocean front room on the weekend for just $125!!!! WOW!!!! Then they add the taxes. No big deal on the taxes...you know that's coming. Then you get to the hotel and they add on a resort fee and a parking fee. The resort fee is a tiny mention on their site that many folks missed and doesn't get added till you arrive. The parking fee isn't shown anywhere on the site. To add insult to injury they also tax the resort fee and parking fee. When the smoke clears that $125 ocean front room is $180!! I've stayed here several times so it's no longer a surprise but still pisses me off.

We were waiting to check into the hotel when the family ahead of us asked what they get for the daily $22 resort fee. They were told...the pool, wi-fi, work out room and beach access. I said a little louder than maybe I should have "Basically you get everything that the Holiday Inn Express further down the beach doesn't charge for and the Holiday Inn includes a free breakfast buffet". Why don't I stay at the Holiday Inn.....it's too far down the road to be able to walk to the main tourist area and when I'm on vacation you don't want me driving a car. Did I mention that the Holiday Inn is $135 ALL IN and there is no charge for parking? Maybe it's a coincidence that the original price presented is lower than the Holiday Inn.

If you're going to charge everyone a resort fee how about just tacking it on to the upfront cost. Yeah... it'll be harder to sell that room or flight if everyone isn't presented a low price that competes with the lower to moderate venues but you shouldn't need to be an accountant and big game hunter to find the actual price before getting there.

Can you say legal bait and switch?

that is like the contractor with the low ball figure showing up to work and then adding costs to the estimated costs instantly... like under estimating just to get he job then stick it to the people after they sign... we do not get paid until the job is complete and the people are happy and got what was agreed upon... of course there is an unknown clause but that hardly ever comes up unless to many unforeseen issues arise ETC,
so Fuck dishonest contractors who jack up the price aftr the homeowner signs = Fuck that !!

I'm not really sure who the "you" would be so I'll just go with a Fuck Off to AI's ruling our lives and Wells Fargo.

I tried to buy my dad a cell phone. The one I gave him to bring him to the 19th century died and I wanted him to continue in the way he was accustomed, but knew he would buy a cricket or something for himself.

No luck. Card bounced. Call your bank. Called the bank and, while on the phone with them, the fraud line called on a different line in the business. I pick up and explain I'm on the other line and the fraud hangs up and the original call gets things right. I try again. (To buy the phone on the web.)

Card bounced. Call your bank. I did and they transferred me to fraud and started asking questions. I answered them. Then started asking questions about my dad (Using credit bureau info, a series of questions can be generated to give a high confidence one who answers them right is the guy.) and I did not want to confirm any of their information to further let them build a profitable query base, so declined.

I went to a local branch to identify myself. All things done correctly and all check marks approved. Go back to my office to buy phone. Card bounced. Call your bank.

Went back to branch and ask for manager to sit in. Go thorough identifying process again and they do a "hard reset" to make sure. Then, as I go to leave, manager insists I wait around for her minion to read all they did for me that day and have me sign. (I think it is because this branch was one caught up in false account opening with the big WF fraud.) Do so while bitching about the wasted time while waiting for marginally-educated fucktard to sound out all the big words. Go back to office to order phone and, no luck; card bounced; call your bank.

Called wife to order phone. She did. One try.

On the weekend, I go to deposit paycheck and get a call your bank flag on the ATM and it spits out my card. Left, went to Chase and opened an account.

Fuck fraud AI's who prevent my from buying my dad a phone. Fuck Wells Fargo for their bureaucratic bullshit.

Fuck those new electric highway signs which no longer inform you of miles, but tell you instead that it will take x number of minutes to get somewhere. We don't all drive the same speed and they seem way off anyways. :bang:
