^^^Though I would just say, why not have just have multiple Jyarz for multiple strains, another thought occurred to me...

Hey Aldo @JyARz , would it be possible and/or have you ever thought of producing half height glass inserts? It would allow people to carry two different strains in the same Jyarz, and would allow people with lots of Jyarz to carry even more strains with them in the same amount of containers. Just a thought...:\

I think this would be tricky in terms of glass durability. But thanks for the thought.

I think something that was double the height of the satchmo but with 2 satchmo inserts would be great (perfect for different strain 1/8ths) but again...probably a fix for a manufactured problem lol

mom working on a larger size in earnest now ... so there will be more optionS in the not too distant future ... I know this doesn’t really address the “stack” idea but I thought I’d share it anyway as I know a lot of people really want a larger size :)

Larger is clearly the next logical choice based on demand but I’m curious what do you have in mind. What characteristics (yes smaller but tell me more) do you seek that the current sizes don’t offer?

I really wanted a smaller size. <nods>
No not the Chico, and yea I have one.
I my case a small jyarz is to late but I see many searching for small quality containers. Small~=15 ml.

Jyarz are a nice product, it's tough to please everyone I suppose.

I have posted here, more than once, asking for a larger size. And I still want one, just not TOO big though. I honestly think a little bigger Satchmo would be awesome. Without doing the maths, I think adding an inch or so to the diameter and same to the height would substantially increase the volume. I guess it’s all down to the desired outcome, so what’s the goal @JyARz ? How much bigger do you envision? I think at a certain point, it could become absurd and would caution against listening too much to all of us Jyarzheads! :D

It’s so easy for me to sit here and say, “I want a gallon-size JyARz and I’d happily pay for it” but is there enough widespread demand from all of your customers and will they buy multiples to the degree they have with the smaller sizes? JyARz kick ass because they fulfill a niche better than anything else. That’s my only concern about going too big, at a certain point you’re gonna be competing with mason jars. Why? It’s going to cost waaay more and I’m not sure the benefits are going to scale proportionally.

To me, the strengths of Jyarz are: protective, hygienic, crush proof, sealed and smell proof, watertight containers for the secure transportation of high quality materials. I have multiples of the three sizes because they’re not too big and great for varieties but how many quart-sized JyARz would I buy? Am I going to store my harvests in them, a different colour for each plant? That would be insanely expensive and I’d just use mason jars tbh.
My workflow (work- lolz) is: After it comes out of a jar, it goes into a Jyarz. And then it goes into me.

Imo, smaller glass containers benefit much more from JyARz protection simply because they are carried around on our persons, in bags and pockets, out into the real world and are likely to be dropped and banged around. I’m not carrying four mason jars around in a backpack. For me, that’s where JyARz really shine: in the realm below the wide-mouth quart canning jar. So a size between that and the Satchmo would be my desired outcome, personally. I can’t believe I just wrote a four paragraph essay on the next Jyarz’s perfect size. What a nerd. :haw:

@JyARz , it may be prudent to release an initial cost estimate before going too far down the prototype/production path
on a bigger JyARZ.

Many want a bigger unit BUT may change their minds with the real cost.
For example, if can say that the new piece will be about 4" diam and 5 " tall AND
the estimated cost will be $45, that may change the level of interest.

You have a really high quality product but a bigger one is certainly going to cost a pretty penny.

Approx 2.5 the volume of the Satchmo ... that’s the rough idea give or take.

 you're singing my tune, I could go for that! And @MinnBobber has a very good point as well, they are luxury accessories (and luxurious they are!) but everyone has a mental price barrier for these things.

EDIT: in that case, I'd say maybe less than an inch taller. Like 3"-3.25" with the lid and around 4" wide? I love the dimensions of Satchmo tho and would like to retain the proportions somewhat. does it make you proud, or a little scared, that they are people so passionate about your products? That I've sat and deeply considered the shapes and dimensions of my Jyarz strikes me as a little bit weird now... guess it's because a JyARz is always nearby when I'm in "deep thought mode"? :brow:

Team NO SLEEP!
Aldo~ I am stoked for larger sizes!

I believe I have right around 30 or so Jyarz and it never seems to be enough!

I know you just mentioned it is not in the works, but I would still love to see a little lip around the top of the cap as it would allow for easy stacking. Is that a modification you could make to your molds in the future? It would have no affect on the interior nor would you need to alter the design of the bottom half.

The only other feature I would like to see in a larger offering, would be to have some sort of holster for humidity packs. I do not always use humidity packs, but it surely is helpful when pressing.

@JyARz And your products are an amazing value as well as high quality, in terms of how durable and long lasting they are, plus the pleasure off ownership derived in the long run. And that's why the smart money is always on high quality over time, you get what you pay for. All I know is my Jyarz make me happy daily, love their functional forms.

I get the desire for a place to stick the humidipaks, like there is on the C-Vault, but practically I don't believe it's necessary to keep the pack separate from the flowers. A holster made of presumably JyARz plastic is going to take up way more space than the pack itself, that's space for herb imo. But I guess if the container is so big that space isn't a consideration, why not? But where would you put the holster? Can't be in the lid because of the seal and the rest of the interior is sweet glass so I can't understand where it could be attached. Can you help me @FlyingLow and don't forget to dumb it down for me. :haw: TY!

@cannabis.pro Be more specific please! It's easy to say "BIGGER" but what do you mean exactly? I'm interested in your opinion as an "Industry" person and what size(s) do you think would generate the most sales in units for Aldo?

Something more in line with a Mason Jar, nothing wrong with a little wider than the Satchmo & taller, or just a bigger longer Satchmo could work too. Whatever is easiest, but being able to use the lid design from the Satchmo would be able to cut some design & mold costs.

I included stickability in the requirements so ... we are working on it :)
