Are there dosing capsules that work well with the rbt stems? I’m just thinking about portability while I wait for my z to arrive. To quickly swap loads on the go and save the ABV rituals for evenings would be pretty nice.

Checked DDave mods and the Related equipment forum... i haven’t seen anything that’s clearly compatible with the RBT glass.

edit: Page 100! Is there a prize??? ;)

I would like to know this also, I use dosing capsules with my mighty and plenty, using the loading kit I have 40 capsules loaded in 10 mins, so simple plus it keeps everything super clean.

Hey everyone,

Just a heads up, I added kooling kits back to the site along with individual long and short kooling stems if you don’t want the kit!

Cole
Thanks @RBTcole !

Can you add a link to the rbt website to your information page here and however else you are permitted to at FC?

Or is it there and I’m missing it?

I’ve had my Z for a few days now, and I’ve been using it on Wattage Mode. I usually do a 2-10 second warmup, before I slow draw for 6-13 seconds. I have the wattage set from 30 – 40. I get about 4 -5 hits a bowl. My ABV is evenly browned. The “hits” seem strong, though I’m not getting dense “clouds.” My puff count is around 200 and my batteries are 80% drained. I’m using the short stem and the vapor can get a little warm at the higher temperatures. I feel like the Z is capable of so much more but I think that would require other software. I’m considering the myevic.bin TC software for my Wismec Gen3 Dual mod . :peace:

And your little text under your name for mobile readers!

I just tried 2x adding a website link to my title, but it wouldn't save it. :\

If anyone wants to see a member's signature on mobile, click on their username & then Profile Page, then Information. Although this only works for members who haven't made their profile page private.

Should I get one of these?

Been using the roommates Mighty for flower, just got this badass MaxVapor DNA75C mod, never used a RBT vape. My last vape was a Flowerpot.

The Zv2 is priced pretty fairly... but I know if I like it I'll want to kick my ass for not getting the Custom Z....

ye, a Z on DNA75 has really wide range of vaping ... from pure taste to really massive (desktop style) clouds. I really like it.

Tough call because you are a mega- heavy hitter.

Been using the roommates Mighty for flower

I would liken the Z as the 100% convection version of the Mighty. If you'd like to try a potent true portable convection vape, go for it.

If you do like it & you feel it's worth upgrading to the Custom, sell it.

You don't have to invest in the cooling stems unless you wind up liking it.

I had to think long and hard about buying the custom Z and I don't regret it. I use it all the time now. Almost my daily driver.

I rarely vape in the morn before work. Had to give my new baby a go n test effects. Morning is best for that imo. Some decent clouds n flavor. Brown spot almost torched dead centre. That draw was actually my second draw as I started last night .. Last night after work I had a glass of bourbon, cleaned my Z, loaded it,, took a draw, finished my drink, n I was nice. Passed out.
I can't say if that draw had me so lifted I didn't need more, but I vape! normally first trials I'm doing 3,4 bowls different strains. Couldn't do it last night! Reloaded, second session was more consistent. Digging it so far..got a 16 hour work day Then it's bourbon n trials again with Z tonight!

What mod? You should be able to get that center hot spot figured out with some tweaks to your settings and technique. Just wattage so far?

Holy shit bro you still got another 4 hours to hold out at work? Good effort man, nice that you can look forward to your new hot property. I bet it is such a nice feeling to finish such a mega long shift and finally get back to your own "devices" lol.

Have a real nice vape later bro.

Using the Z is awesome, i do get that little darker spot in the middle but it's just on the surface, when I clean out bowl I dont see any charring in my avb. I'm learning the draw speed, is it slow and long or can I go faster? It feels like I can draw a little more faster when compared to my mv1. I used the long xl8r stem first, it cools the vapor so much that I barely feel the hit in the back of my throat. Last night I tried a tapered stem and worked really well! I was able to feel the hit and the stem got slightly warm, but vapor was nice and cool. Gonna try a wood stem tonight. I wanna try the nub, anyone have it and can comment? What's your favorite stem? I think I would like to try a bent stem.

Hey, everyone - Happy TGIF!

I need to correct what I posted yesterday.
Tubo [aka funkyjunk(y)] which is a proprietary version of surmyevic.

I rec'd a pm from @funkyjunky who wanted to clarify the developmental history of these softwares. (Except for changing from 1st to 3rd person (I to he/fj) & changing the sentence order, these are fj's quoted words.

'The tubomyevic AND the surmyevic softwares are descendents of the myevic firmware. tuboymevic has nothing to do with surmyevic. surmyevic was/is for ecigarette use & fj's for the tubomyevic.

microsur (the coder of the surmyevic project) & fj developed their respective projects independently at the same time - except that microsur copied fj's cruise feature into his work after some time.'

I'm gonna crosspost this to the Splinter & Box Mod Firmware threads so everyone interfacing with these firmwares understands the correct software history.

Have a great weekend. :)

What mod?
I've done 4 sessions. The two sessions I spoke about I used my p80 pre loaded with myevic. Started at 30w didn't go beyond 35w. My current session stock evic dual

Thanks! My mind was prepared for the long day. outside of the physical wear down it was no problem! I took maybe two draws n was out. Didn't get the opportunity to vape nice.

Ok. So I was using my p80 I use for my G43. It was running hot. The Z would get really really warm after 4 - 6 draws. Last night I switched to my stock evic dual. (I have Big hands. I like the single battery feel over 2).
Night and day. (I only took a few draws n lights out). Continuing my experiments this morning, I have legitimate results. My joytech mod, I just had a session this morning very much like the glorious sessions that have been recently documented here in this thread. I started at 40w (by accident) nice session, smooth vapor, the Z stayed cool.

Seems stock mod, pressing fire as i draw is intuitive, controlling draw speed. Normal vape life... Using my p80 with firmware I'd have to tweak the experience and figure it out.
For now I'll stick with stock so I can just appreciate this device without fiddling with mods.

The cloud I just blew... Who said Z is like a all convection on demand Mighty? I kinda agree I see it.

Just a heads up, if your 75c is a single battery the regular splinter might be a better pairing. I have a custom Z on a DNA 250c and when it's preheated it hits very similar to my FP SH. It can cache a basket screen in one hit if you can draw long enough. Usually it takes me 2. The regular splinter is no sloutch either and it's a little quicker to produce vapour.

I'd love to try a FP SH. Unfortunately there is no Canadian vendor. Thus making that device unaffordable..
Tell me more about DNA 250c mods. Please. I just did a search there are many different brands of DNA 250c mods. Are they all trust worthy? If the mod itself is going to change and uplift the overall experience, then I'm saving for one!

If your in the Ottawa area you can try mine

If your into temp control, DNA mods are going to give the most accurate temp control experience. They all contain the same high end chipset made from Evolve DNA. Brands should all be around the same quality wise as the board is the most expensive part. Other then the DNA board its literally just a battery and an enclosure. The other plus side is there pre programmed Splinter and other 510 vape profiles for DNA devices. SO you just download and your good to go in temp control.

Other mods can be just as good IMO once flashed with custom firmware and properly tweaked settings.

Using wattage you don't need to worry about any of this, just press button and go by feel.
