Not much mention of the Beast by Mistvape.

Does anyone have one? Any thought on it compared to induction heaters?

I have The Beast but I don't have an induction heater. Would also love to hear from someone who has both.

My thoughts so far between the two:

• They both heat your Vapcap consistently without a lighter
• Induction heater heats about 2x faster but is not very portable
• The Beast takes 2x longer to heat but is pocket portable

Clean out the stem, glass bits and all, put in a dome screen, and you have a back up of a back up, in
An emergency, it would be expedient. Not that you don’t have numerous other stems, like most of us. :)

Looks like vibrations at the weakest point, the sawed cuts, proved to be the Achilles’ heel of
The otherwise hardy RWW “Atlas”. Staggered holes, instead of parallel cuts might prove
stronger.

This is why I have a backup. It's broken glass. It served it's purpose. New TRWW stems are ordered.

I'll just let this one rest in pieces. :D

Sorry to hear about the recent
"stem-tastrophie".

Did you order one of the 2mmXL stems? (in the pic below) Imho, I think you'll really like that one, for its versatility and durability.

Mine has definitely become my new daily driver, and I switch up the various ways of setting it up occasionally for variety.

I've also dropped that sucker a number of times now and not so much as a scratch. A great vape and an Abrams tank, all in one!

ALL the newer RWW glass stems are really tough due to that nice thick glass!

The "Robusto" (in the pic, below) was unexpectedly, my second fav. Tough like the others, Great flavor, and just an all around dependable, workhorse of a stem!

Of the 3 newer stems I have, I originally thought the "Bolle"
(pictured below, with the bubbles) would be my fav, and it IS an OUTSTANDING stem for GREAT flavors AND cool, buttery smoooooth Vapor!

But after weeks of testing, the 2mmXL has definitely won my heart!

You can get that stem and the others from https://www.ebay.com/itm/The-2mmXL-Stem-for-DVVC-by-The-Rogue-Wax-Works/283615351067?_trkparms=aid=1110001&algo=SPLICE.SIM&ao=1&asc=40741&meid=258e3c9f2a59498496c07cc23751288a&pid=100930&rk=6&rkt=6&sd=283615289478&itm=283615351067&pmt=0&noa=1&pg=2349624&_trksid=p2349624.c100930.m5375

Or PM @RogueGuy!

Again, Major kudos to @RogueGuy on the designs and even BIGGER thanks for allowing a lucky few of us here, to beta test them and caring about our feedback on them!

Kudos to the glass blower, as well, for turning those awesome designs into clear, sweet, Vaping reality!

Happy Vaping! :rockon::leaf::wave:

I like this lighter, I will get more for back up. They are cheap, has any one seen them in package of several?
Yes. I've bought a package of 5 or 6 Aomai jet going lighters a couple of times. No problems with any of them with the exception of one that has a loose trigger slide. I can slide it up to engage the gas but then it slides down again.

I've tried a few different ones. I had a double jet blazer zippo insert that worked well for ~ a month, until the trigger let go. I usually use a big bernzomatic hand held single jet that I use for my Lotus. Overkill for both, and I'm on my second in ~ 2 months due to safety failure.

Had some crappy ones before that, not worth mentioning. Just nice to hear what other people are having success with.

I almost exclusively use my IH at home, but on the rare occasion I use a torch, my single flame Aomai is DEFINITELY my default go to!

@Moses Baca backup for the backup plus a tradesman is on its way.

@Vape weed everyday @Easywider have you seen the clip of the Mistvape guy heating and hitting some oil in a quartz insert in the Beast? That really intrigued me.

Haha the @thejackalsmark and @stark1 thanks for the shameless plugs.

If you find RWW VC stems to be robust, and interesting, you might find his “Glass Vape Kit”
An inspiration.

You know @stark1, with all the vapes I have at my disposal, that right there is still my daily driver used more than any others combined.

Dood. You are a Renaissance Man!
You inspired me to do this, after your “All Glass Convection Vape Kit.”

“Almost” all glass convection vape kit.
(with mesh basket as a diffuser, and Fierce pod to help contain the flower :freak:
A spacer/pod is needed to properly place the herb in the “works”) LOL

A little larger than my M.

I did indeed, that looked super cool. I'm not a fan of using a whip or I would have grabbed some inserts he had them priced really well. The Beast would have no problem heating those inserts as the coil is a real "beast" And if the wire was changed from Kanthal to SS it could easily be used in Temp Control mode.

If there was a insert / straw combo id be all over it.

Today's installment is a pic of the carbed "Robusto" and "2mmXL" stems, (Stems courtesy of @RogueGuy) as you've NEVER seen them before! :o :o :o

The top stem is the carbed "Robusto" with an XL condenser placed inside and then an X-Ring moved forward enough to JUST have a little air flow from the carb.

She hits VERY nicely!

The lower stem is the "2mmXL", with a LOT going on!

Shadow M stainless steel tip and Shadow M regular condenser EXCEPT the condenser is pushed in a bit FURTHER than normal.

The Forward X Ring is used to set and forget the air flow from the carb, and at the mouthpiece end, I'm of course, using that titanium nectar collector tip from the @RogueGuy Nectar Collector stem, as a mouthpiece!
15705598157031030977597.jpg

It's flipped around with some O-rings added for snug fit and inserted into the mouthpiece end, then, into the condenser.

A silicone tip from an earbud and a couple of large black O-rings for Aesthetics and comfort added, COMPLETE the package and make for a DAMN GOOD hitting stem!

:D      :science:

I hope everyone ENJOYED today's offering! :brow:

In our next installment, we'll talk about... "That One Time... At Band Camp... ":rofl::lol:

Until then,

Happy Vaping! :wave::leaf: :wave:
