The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

Haha. While I wish they would choose a different material or coat the aluminium in gold or something, aluminium is a very good conductor for heat and also very light, which obviously helps in this application.

I drink out of cans sometimes and did even eat potatoes or fish from the grill that were wrapped in aluminium foil, which is proven to be bad because of the acids and salts that attack the alu while cooking. I strongly hope that THC or CBD does invert the effects of the aluminium. It is like math maybe minus minus = plus. :D
S&B had a document that guarantees the safety of the aluminium at these temps iirc and they have the only vaporizers that are officially tested and admitted for medical use. To my knowledge. So I still feel pretty safe. I'll take a dab more now, because of the aluminium.

To minimise any problem that could arise from contact of weed or vapour with the bowl I do not clean the bowl too often. That way I hope a fine film of cannabis resin forms in the bowl and protects the vapour from further interaction with the aluminium.

These units really should be retailing for half of what they’re selling them for. Considering that the air path in these units is plastic and aluminum it’s crazy that they charge the prices they do for these units the mighty is worth no more than 150 bucks and the volcano really shouldn’t be selling for over $200 retail. We’re paying double that amount for these units.
Do you have one?

Ah I remember now.
What happens if you do a standard mighty vape session, with nothing in the bowl.
Do you still have all your problems?
I’ve never thought of doing that I’d basically just be breathing in heated air from the chamber. I’m going to try it with the water peace and not use it in native mode and see if that works out but your idea wasn’t bad I just would be inhaling hot air though I’m not too crazy about that idea

I don't really care about material safety, to a point (I was a heavy smoker for 30 years), stainless steel bowls are just easier to keep clean and scratch up far less than aluminium.:2c:

When using the mighty through a water peace and using the concentration pad for micro dosing what temperature would you start at,

I started at 400 I’ve seen other people start at 4:05 4:10?

Is it best to start at 400 and above as opposed to 372 due to the higher temperature giving you more vapor what’s the purpose for being at 400 and above it? Obviously once were at 400 I guess there’s also more bad things happening that we don’t get one or in the 370 range?

You will have to try it out @Truth Seeker .

For a bit harsher weed I often start at 356°F or even lower and work my way up to 410°F.
The less dense the vapour is the less likely it will irritate, if it is the vapour from the weed that gives you problems.
With a water piece I often go directly to 410°F.

But if you have problems to inhale the hot air from an empty vaporiser it might be easier on your lungs to just take one dense hit.

For the medical effects I need, I have to go to the higher temps earlier or later, is my impression. But I generally cough less with harsher bud when I start with lower temperatures, plus I get more different tastes at lower temps.

edit: Mixed up °C and °F

I wonder if anyone else gets a short term post nasal drip after vaping with the mighty or ant vape?
Oh hell....I'm a snot producing machine when I dab and vape. Really good thing I'm an old guy who vapes almost entirely at home and alone as it would be too embarrassing otherwise! haha

Didn't used to....guess for me its just another one of those precious gifts of aging (FFS! haha)

Is there a way to get the mighty to do one good heavy micro dose hit through a water piece without having to continually draw on it to get...like a strong hit on a demand? Continually drawing on it to get the vapor thick is a bit tiring....it’s like taking a constant deep breathe

I still use my Mighty as my everyday workhorse, I look forward to the reclaim each week I blow it all into thick white Volcano bags at full temperature 230C. The higher THC hit is lots of fun!
My Mighty is just set to full temp and I micro dose through water with 1/3 full caps by preheating them for 1 minute.
The taste and density is satisfying beyond belief, and works good for pain and sleep.
Maybe it could be healthier for someone to use the S&B presets of 180 and 195C as I think the high temp vaping might make me look more wasted! But the benefits are almost too great for me to go back.

Has anybody noticed benefits of vaping below full temperature with Mighty? or at other temperatures?

The fact that they dropped the Volcano digit after the Volcano hybrid is not the greatest news for Mighty fans.
It might mean if they feel they can do better, then they'll drop the Mighty upon release of it's successor, and possibly raise the price of the new one.

Not sure why but the Mighty just suits me really well, hard to imagine being as happy with another portable on the market now.
As some suggestions indicate, you would almost need two vapes to replace it or take it's place!

Wow, you’re right. They don’t show the Digit on their site anymore.

When did this happen? I think they showed all three versions for a while, no?

I think they took it off pretty quickly. I saw it a couple of weeks ago.
But I just saw they still have it on their medic site. I cannot tell if the price has changed.

But now the Mighty and the Mighty Medic are the same price it seems.

Edit: sorry I mixed up euros and dollars and cannot change the currency now, so take the above prices with alot of grains of salt.

And they still advertise free shipping worldwide. I ordered 2 times replacement parts that qualified for free shipping. S&B did not charge me but I each time had DHL or DPD (don't remember atm) charge me 20-30 dollars or more for shipping separately.:goon:

There's a world of flavors and variety of experience as you go through the temp range. Some folks simply enjoy and stay at temps well below 180.
You are noticing a difference, too;
I think the high temp vaping might make me look more wasted!
'More' is not necessarily a benefit, when it's a matter of personal preference.

Is there anyway to replace/fix the mighty power button?
(other than sending into to storz n bickel)

My friends Mighty power button wont work.
What is exactly behind the orange rubber coating?
Is it possible to pull it out and try and clean it or something?

the screen still shows and it can be charged, so it seems to function,
just the actual power button doesnt turn the unit on when pushed down.

My button still works, but it won't bump up in temperature anymore with the double press. It vibrates like it got the command, but according to the temperature readout it's not going up at all like it used to.

I used to start at 389°f and it would go up to 404°f. Has anybody ever resolved this issue?

Exactly why I got me a second one for pretty cheap.
I don't even have boost mode, lol. But it would be handy.
