That’s where I am :) So I know I get into the programming with the 8 clicks, and then what steps allow me to check the current setting?
instead of clicking buttons to check your current setting, click buttons to set it where you want it to be. :sherlock:

EDIT: I just realized you probably mean you want to check what temp range you have already set on each level once you're already inside the programming. sorry!

Does anyone know if there is an online FW6 manual? It would be nice to read up while waiting. Never had a vape controlled by vibration, lol. It took me a long time to figure out a mod as well, i quickly ran out of fingers to count.

@rvarick That's super cool, amazingly perfect fit in my estimation. TY for the link as well  Like my homie @Fat Freddy asked, is that an unfinished version? That's what I'm getting and really looking forward to doing the fine finish myself, I love that step. Oh yeah, I also plan on carving "Bad Mother Fucker" on one side and "Of Combustion" on the other. Think it's gonna look pretty badass but also a classy customisation at the same time. You guys know what I mean? :D

@Chingas okay man, I have to know if the possibility exists that you maybe, might have been really high when posting this?
It looks like there may be space for a cell or 3. Perhaps a doob tube with a second strain in it? A vapcap lover might get a dynastash and torch in there as well. Fits like a coffin on the FW6 as is.

Lol, are we looking at the same thing? Unless that case also functions like the TARDIS, there's zero chance of getting any of that stuff you suggest in that pouch and zipping the case up. Your last sentence is true though, which is why everything before it can't be. Seems to me that its main feature is hard shell protection rather than storage. Idk, maybe I'm wrong but looking at the link provided and its exterior dimensions, I don't think you're getting much of anything else besides the fw6 in there. :2c:

Very nice! If it were just a tad bigger to also hold a spare cell that would be ideal. Nevertheless, great find!

BTW, @rvarick is that FW6 a unfinished model?

.
Nope, it’s a finished one (tung). I still need to add some of Ed’s Bomb Ass Butter to it as well to get it really buttery.

Yep, it fits close enough on all sides to where it doesn’t move around inside. There’s not much room for anything else except maybe a toothpick or pick tool in the sleeve. Searching for other external battery or camera cases may offer ones with extra room. My main intent on features were protection plus discretion. As in, “man, rvarick always has his external battery with him, he must drain his phone a lot” :)

Hey all. Sorry I haven’t been able to update much. I had a lot going in the last several days and wasn’t able to play with my new FW6 as much as I wanted.

Unfortunately, the time I have had with it has been a little disappointing.
I am pretty sure it is me not dialing in - just saw @flammy technique and will give that a shot tonight. I have only been using it on level 4 because I can’t seem to get anything from the lower levels.

I will say that I LOVE the form factor. Reminds me of an old school dugout / puzzle. I will post pics later - inside and out.
I will try again tonight and will hopefully get better results.

@flammy how we’re you able to get level two above 310F?

To change the temperature range for each of the preset settings, you will need to follow the instructions provided. Granted they are a little confusing but here is a good synopsis that should help guide you with that:

Before I proceed, if anyone has successfully adjusted the temp settings on the FW6, I’d love any tips on how to do it which may not be covered by the steps in the manual.

For instance, does it work like this?
Step 1: Click for heat level you want to adjust; get same # of buzzes back.
Step 2: Click 7 times to go into adjustment mode, get 7 buzzes back.
Step 3: Click 1, 2 or 3 times to choose a temp within one of the 3 tables listed, (get same # of buzzes back?)
Step 4: Click # of times to choose the 10 degree range you want, (get same # of buzzes back?)
Step 4: Done

Nice! Good of you to pass along what you've learned! I am also willing to answer questions. Feel free to drop them here or PM.

@pxl_jockey Guilty as charged. Just thinking out loud through my fingers on that post. I see a pouch and wonder what could fit. Maybe a pick tool, Storz & Bickel brush and a small chamois cloth? That's a little more realistic.

While checking out @rvarick 's link there was also the Anker version of this case. A touch bigger but it claims it is waterproof and it does cover up the teeth of the zipper better to keep pocket lint and little bits of stuff from jamming up the action of the zipper.

According to Marc's email I have 3 weeks to wait anyway so I just want to read other people's experience's while I wait. I'd love to see pics of the unfinished model since that's what I went for. Back to lurking.

For case suggestions, you may want to look at the RYOT packratz cases. Also, check out Vatra cases.

I don’t know which size will be best, though...

Funnily enough I also have that Anker case, and even used it until the other one came. It works well but had some loose space to spare, for better or for worse depending on if you’re looking to fit something else in like a tube, brush, etc. The band inside kept the FW6 in place though.

Edit: I tried getting something like a battery or a doob tube to fit but they were too thick to let it close. Pic below:

I was trying to decide between the FW6 and the Ghost. Ghost is on sale for $146 on PIU. Isbit still best to stick with the FW6?

Immediate gratification v. a wait. Plus, that’s an unbelievable price for the mv1.

With that, I have no experience with either vape...
