The Flip Brick by Sticky Brick Labs

I am curious if the new Flip Brick makes a good mini Hydrobrick. And if it fit nice in the hand compared to the Hydrobrick. I have the Maxx dry mouthpiece from using some whips on a Runt I had. Still having that mouthpiece might be a good excuse to get the new Flip Brick.

I'd love to know this too. Love the idea of a hydrotube on a flipbrick for a compact, face melting, bong-like experience.

Love this. How's it hit?

It hit really nice, I even liked using it dry to just give extra cooling. I liked using it even a little more than the Maxx dry mouthpiece because of the Gandalf length effect veing very comfy to operate. I ended up selling the Runt to get an OG since I was using it with the bubbler or Maxx dry mouthpiece all the time. But I do miss the Terp taste of the Runt and that easy in and out herb chamber block.

Anyone here think an Ultimate Cooling Stem from Ddave mods would restrict airflow too much on a Flip Brick? Wondering if I should buy a bent Maxx mouthpiece with my Flip Brick or just wing it with a Ddave stem and see what happens. :\

I can't believe I haven't tried this myself yet. I just did and it worked very well with a 18mm female/female adapter. It is restrictive though, so you'll probably need to pull fairly hard. I have two and one was a bit more clogged with resin than the other and was too restrictive so I used the one that was cleaner. I use mine dry with a dual screen (use it with 510 vapes) set up so the resin stays as clean as possible for tinctures/baking after removing it with a iso cleaning.

Love @DDave's cooling stems and screens. I retro fit his screens in almost all of my vapes that require one, even my vapcap and stems for logs. Love how thin the mesh is!

Looking for a line on a new sticky brick intake. Preferably the new one.
Getting one directly from sticky brick's website requires paying more for shipping than the cost of the intake.
PIU is out of stock.
Anywhere else I should look?

Any more tips on using this guy? I have my Runt, but wanted to practice with the Flip.

I am sucking through a water bong, but I cannot see what is coming out. I try and get the flame going before sucking in, but I fill up sometimes before I actually get anything.

I tried changing how much of the flame is pointing or going in the intake, and adjusting the length.

Alright my guys and gals. I’m trying to find the perfect glass piece for a FlipBrick
something just large enough but also a low enough joint so the vape is at a level height?
any suggestions?

@shopdognyc you could try “preheating“ the heat intake glass before you take a hit. I do this with my OG. Flame the Outside of the intake for 30 seconds before I take my first hit.

Two years late and a buck and a half short, I'm using this TAG - 8" Hammer Head Perc Side Car.

Add a Flip and it's all sorta comically oversized mass-wise, but it fits comfortably in the hand for hitting and it's heavy enough to hold the vape up (!). The seriously shreddy percs and small volume combine for pretty good cooling and pretty good flavor. The mouthpiece is a comfortably distant 9" or so away from the heat intake, which is about eye-level. Normally I go with a slower draw and lower fill with my small torch vapes as it can get a little choppy but the Flip has no problem going full on with a bit more water. Caveat: I just got the Flip and I'm probably honeymooning but I'm pleasantly surprised at how nicely it works and how well the two pieces work together!

Let me start by saying the power from this thing is insane! Although I think God was playing a mind game with me with this one. My first 20+ bowls were flawless with this Vape with no restrictor disc because I pulled it out immediately. I thought I was so good I was about to call Kenny himself and give him a few pointers.

But then… I became a pyromaniac fire fighter! Lighting fires extinguishing fires lighting fires extinguishing fires. There was a point where I couldn’t do anything but set a fire. I think it was because a change in the flame when I refill the lighter? Not exactly sure. So I threw the restrictor disc back in and tried again with better results but not perfect. I haven’t been able to simulate my first experiences, but this thing hits like Mike Tyson in the 90s.

I got the flipbrick as an experiment to see if I wanted to invest more money in one of their better units.

I definitely love this device and I am 100% committed to upgrading. Now the question is what is the best upgrade? I think I’m leaning towards the Maxx, OG, or runt but I believe I wanna try a unit with a straight tube instead of the bent?

Thank you vape family!
