Dude they are dope I would totally get them. He adjusted the sizing to no longer need the included red o rings. But whats very cool at the same time managed to keep the outside diameter the same so they still natively sit in a 14mm waterpiece. The wavy cooling one is still carbless. And the glass Xl has a carb. A very distinct raised carb that is super easy to find in the dark. Get em' you wont regret it. I actually plan on getting a second wavy one so I can use one exclusively for concentrates and one for flower. I'll try to post a pic

Thanks for the picture of the bubble stem @Xclerk. I was hoping someone would post a dirty picture. ;)

It's interesting that all the reclaim is in the first bubble. I was guessing that there would be some in the other bubbles, too, but they look pretty clean. Is reclaim from cooling of the vapor? Is most of the cooling happening in the first bubble?

Here's my dirty older version.

There's a little more in the first bubble mostly because I forgot I had loaded it and it melted into the coil and I loaded on top so some was just sucked through. After about a week of use it is almost to the 2nd bubble. I also haven't put much through as concentrates are hard to come about round here. I wont lie it has already had one cleaning. But this is only maybe a dozen hits in

I think it's very efficient at cooling. That's a picture from a few weeks ago but it's about the same right now. It looks like that after about a week of use and then I get to make a cup of stem cocoa.

Hey @someTooL welcome to the DV obsession. The only upgrade you need with the M is an XL condenser and spinning mouth piece from @danielj.

@phattpiggie cool piece, Lemmy would approve. Always love your work and videos. I cant wait to see what you guys are cooking up.

@Moses Baca here is a picture of my Bolle. Keep in mind that the ones I sent as testers, and this one, were actually ones that work but had tighter draw resistance than i liked. Since this is our first run, we are still working some bugs out. Speaking of bugs, the 2mmXL came out a little short. it should be thought of as a glass M. Best used with the SS tip, XL condenser and spinning MP. The next run will be of proper length and will work with Ti tip and Omni Condenser.

Good to know that the red O-rings are no longer necessary, eliminates getting lost;
this now means that the walls are
A bit thicker ( if the outside diameter is the same ). I like that. Glass with enduring heft.

Also, since RG is entertaining suggestions, perhaps a variant stem with a small bulb end
Might be a good option/seller? :popcorn: Also, colored glass, for giggles?

These new stems are really robust and have a nice weight to them. I'm happy to report the 2mm XL stem that TRWW sent me survived a 2 feet drop test this weekend

Yeah, I conducted a couple of unscheduled drop tests, this weekend, myself. :o :bang: :lol:

After the conclusion of testing I can say with confidence that these new stems from @RogueGuy are the "ABRAMS TANKS" of the glass stem world!

I wouldn't try to use ANY glass stem to hit a homerun at Fenway, but nowhere NEAR the panic when one Falls that I would experience over a THINNER glass stem! :rockon:
