Saionara Atomizer thread

I also wanted to ask, is the reason for not liking coils or donuts with rosin have to do with fouling of the atomizers? I pretty much only vape rosin now and do know that pressing maintains a lot of plant waxes and leaves a good amount of residue after vaping.

I have a quartz bucket, actually a Divine tribe V4, and while it works, it just doesn't do it for me. My issue is not with DT as they make a great product, but with the quartz cup/bucket concept. My issue is that I only need to use a small amount.

In fact, that small amount makes it difficult to get a few good hits before any residue starts to darken and become foul. And it is hard to see what stage you're in without needing to lift off the metal housing to see. When I use a larger amount, I get several strong hits, but then I'm left with leftover concentrate pooled in the cup. My options then are to keep vaping myself into :freak: and use it up, or swab out concentrate that could have been used but is now wasted.

So I am looking at one of those crushed SS coils to try out, either DT or Sai. It seems you can load them up and space out your hits while keeping the melted rosin at lower temps. I worry about fouling and the need for excessive cleaning with the waxes found in rosin.

The DV jetstream looks most appealing because the coils sit in a very shallow housing, making it much easier to load rosin with a dab tool.
I posted about this before. IMO you need to put a good amount on the ti bucket to give it a chance to vape. I take tiny hits really. And I tried putting just the amount for one hit but that just turns black. Put enough that you can hit on it for awhile but not be spilling out. I put 2 regular person dabs in there and hit it over an hour or so minimum. Usually almost 2 sessions or maybe 3 smaller ones

So my O-rings and cap that came with my Sai are so tight when I put it on that taking it off to load has cause my pico to separate. Just want to vent.

If you have any VG (from ecig vaping) around it works as a good lube till everything settles in as it were. Saliva will also do the trick if you don't have VG.

Grease them babies up bro, most anything works. Beeswax, vegetable oil, or spit in a pinch.

Not much either, just wet your finger and rub it on. And do it every couple weeks. And your cap won't stick anymore.

Did you break the sai, or mod?

I just tried to buy a Sai and 5x ceramic donut coils as HVT has a 15% off Labor Day sale, motherfuckers don't post to Australia, I will just get a Motar and wait for the M22.:disgust:

LOL.... maybe we should talk to some of the glass blowers and see if they will make a 'non crack pipe looking' stem. LOL

Unfortunately, the Motar is not all that popular around here so it might not be a big enough market for a new piece. I use mine with a whip, anyways.

Damn. I jumped in and got me a TAI SAF with a Ti Bucket on a Wismec Rx Gen 3 Dual and flashed Arctic Fox on it and now I'm quite overwhelmed by the setup. Actually I simply have not the time to figure it out by myself. Is there a step by step walkthrough for the settings to make? I have no clue about electric smoking devices like that box mod. I am a complete Noob here. You probably (no joke) have to even tell me how to use it - pushing the button while puffing? Pushing the butto and waiting? You see: No clue here.

It's a good idea to clean all new vaporizers before use. A dry burn off could be helpful as well, that will clean the coil.

I got me a steel SAI TAF for swapping / backup and found out that they behave different in my case.
Even when I swap the buckets. The Steel one needs more power to produce the same clouds in my case, doesn't make sense, does it?

I run the Mod with these configs:
Titanium SAI TAF + TiBucket at 315 TCR / 180°C / 35W / locked 0,723 Ohms
Steel SAI TAF + TiBucket at 315 TCR / 220°C / 40 W / locked 0,723 Ohms

Feel free to comment the configs, it seems to work well for me but I'm too fresh to judge.

@DogBoy : I cleaned them with 70% ethanol wipes. The Titanium version came back without optical residue, the SS mouth tube had some black smear on it.

I didn't clean the coils. I don't know if we can and how. I forgot a burn off. I didn't recognize any fumes but a burnoff makes always sense.

...I did soak and wash it with no ill effects but I can't get any vapor out of it...

...it just cooks and splashes the product, even @ 25 watts...the splash guard do not do a good job of containing the splatter...

...I get hot air with occasional traces of vapor that irritate my throat very badly...

...the device heats up until it's too hot to touch...

...I tried two types of concentrate and don't want to try any more...

Bugger, is there any decent How-To videos on the Sai worth watching as I have a Sai in transit and hope to not run into the same problems, watching always helps explain what I have read.:hmm:

there might be but there isnt much to really see. Go on reddit for the arctic fox red panda installation faq. The more you read it the better but it wont make any sense either until you go to use it. Takes like 20 minutes to figure out.
Then it is just not spilling it

...methinks the Vape Critic did one but I can't find it...

...Puffitup is not worried aboot my stupidity and sent a return label and the only question they asked was if they could help me with anything else...

...I told them thanks anyway but I wouldn't know where to begin...

...IMHO they are the best on line merchant I have encountered so far...
