Should I expect efficiency and clouds like a dynavap? Because I can't seem to get the technique right... I pack half the bowl very loosely, turn to 400°F and have very low cloud production. After 2-3min sipping, the AVB was definetly nicely brown though. I'm used to one-hitter vapes, should I consider more like a session vape?

What would happen if you packed your dynavap half way and hit it? Same thing here, you need a full bowl or a spacer, like a concentrate pad to take up room in a half load.

In a half load your herb is flying around, pack it for clouds.

I actually put almost nothing in my dynavap and still get a nice one puff cloud, it's almost ridiculous. I get the same results in my diy butane bong vape (same principle as sticky brick). But if I try the same amount in the Edge, I need 4-5 medium sips @400°F to go trough the material.

Efficiency, definitely. As you said 'nicely brown through'. Hard to ask for more than that?

As you suggest, it's definitely a session vape by design. Being conduction heat can only enter to load (to make vapor) so fast. Sipping gives the thickest hits (least cold air diluting the vapor) and 'heat soaks' between hits (for more heat to conduct into the load) are needed for top performance.

You might want to consider VG or VM, being 'lighter powered' like DV you get better control of the process.

Best wishes in your quest.

My guess would be you should rip it not sip it. Dynavap and arizer products seem to get great results with a slow draw, many in the solo thread said that its like sipping on a milkshake. This vape I can get ok results with a sip and higher temps but overall I get the best results with a higher inhalation speed. A water pipe seems to really benefit the experience. Im still learning the best technique for this vape, my experience so far.

This is pretty much spot on with my own experience. A hard draw thru a WPA on the Edge produces noticeably more dense and flavor-rich vapor and can easily burn thru a capsule in two hits (hit and a half, really).

This is my ABV after two hits thru a WPA. The second hit was wispy and spent; I'd say 80% of the vapor came from the first hit:

(these were big, lung-busting hits, especially the first one)

While not quite on par with what's possible with a Dynavap or Tubo, the vapor produced by the Edge with a WPA is still decently impressive and, as a session vape, with no technique and little fuss, the Edge is a really nice little cruiser.

Thanks guys! I actually enjoy it being a more session vape, it let's me enjoy the flavors longer :) It is not just exactly what I expected, reading about big clouds everywhere. I just thought I was doing something wrong... I will continue to experiment and find the right temp, packing and air flow.

It rips through a WPA and a bong, at 221C ( For my experience with the Fury 2... EDGE is the same heater/chamber I think)
It really is a surprising one at 221C for the size of this vape

so my initial impressions on the Fury Edge =
first few seesions were a bit weak... after the fourth session this vape opened up and started making clouds bigger than my Fury 2! sitting there like Clouds and clouds filling the room LOL.... had to stop vaping and put it down it was so intense LOFL man... now this thing just makes a great vapor uh huh.
all the WPA adapters I have for my Fury2 vapes work perfectly in the Fury edge. maybe will experiment later with the other Edge WPA adapters maybe with friends or something with a larger packed bowl for more hits ETC...
loving the extra batt life, will have to train myself not to put it directly on charge after use, could wait a few times and then charge ETC...
happy vaping folks

I've seen some of you guys mention that the new dosing capsules are better. Can you confirm this? From just pictures, I can see one is mesh and the other is solid, but how does this translate in being better?

hi all

can anyone tell me the diameter of the fury edge water bubbler?
looked on hr site and couldn't find mention of it
can i use it with e-nano, does it need 14--> 18 18--> 14 adapter, etc
already using the pnwt and hoping this bubbler will bring in more air
for lesser resistance
thanks

I have the solid-sided POTV dosing capsules that were made for the POTV One but work with the Fury 2. I also have the HR version of the dosing capsules that were sent to me by mistake when ordering more of the POTV capsules. And I have the HR dosing capsules for the Fierce, which are similar to the mesh screen capsules for the Fury 2.

I can't say that the POTV capsules work better, but they are infinitely easier to work with. Much harder to remove and place the lids on the mesh caps, due to the lids snagging on the sides of the mesh container. Sometimes the lids cling to the sides of the mesh and they're nearly impossible to remove, or they end up flying across your desk or under it. It's also relatively easy to deform the shape of the mesh capsules which multiplies the difficulty in getting the lids on and off.

As far as appearance goes, the mesh capsules look like something that would have been rejected as a project in a high school shop class, while the POTV capsules look like a serious accessory offered for a serious product.

I just looked through the manual and I don’t see any instructions for turning vibrations off.
@HealthyRips.com can you confirm or tell us how to turn off?
Hi, Thank you for the question! The vibration notifications on our FURY EDGE cannot be turned off. It will vibrate when turned on and when it reaches the set temperature. Great idea though - we will discuss that feature :).

All the Best!

I've just move several posts comparing the Edge to the other models to a new thread in Ask FC. We frown upon direct comparisons in a vape-specific thread so please try to avoid it and use Ask FC for that type of discussion.

Thanks.

Good idea. No one will see it there.
Lol. That's exactly what I was thinking! I s'pose that I knew the Ask FC section existed, but it'd never occur to me to look for review comments on vapes in there. Honestly, I'd rather you just delete the posts instead of hide them.

@HealthyRips.com Does the Edge keep vibrating every time it reaches the set temp? When youre outside and the temp drops, does it vibrate after it reaches the set temp again? Can the firmware be updated thru the usb- connection if you add the turn off- possibility? Thank you!

It vibrates the first time when it reaches the set temperature. After that you can increase the temp and it will reach that temp but not vibrate.
