BUT It seems like you paid for the 2-3 days shipping, let's say with the summer delay it should be in the postal office within 5-6 days top, so I think MUSA will refund you for 15-20 eur

@MUSA Vaporizer already paid 20 Euro towards the shipping.

He quoted me 18 Euro for shipping which I paid then he said it might be more for shipping and before I could tell him that his vape and shipping was already at the upper limit of what I would pay for this type of device and try to cancel the whole thing he had paid the extra 20 Euro without my consent.

And here I wait 17 days later while DHL has more than enough time to drive the darn package overland (I would advise caution if driving through Syria).

@GoldenBud Summer means some folks are on vacation all over, but there are a LOT of flights between Tel Aviv and Germany each day.

You may be right, but that is not how my other packages arrived.

@blokenoname I followed the link you provided and it said average shipping to Israel via DHL takes an average of 22 days? That is totally ridiculous 40 Euros for 22 days.

We need to get @MUSA Vaporizer a friend in Switzerland. He could forward the packages to the friend who could then take advantage of the better service for 1/5th to 1/10 of the cost and faster shipping.

Hi
DHL In Israel are having short delay summertime(people often travel) , so are registered mail from China/US. Somehow Swiss package have some prioriy in Israel, also my Lamart's package arrived very quickly this summer, and also like a year ago.

I am 95% sure Its being held by customs. This just happens sometimes, no matter what speed of delivery you have paid for. The postal service have no control over this, nor does @MUSA Vaporizer

I understand, however, Other packages have shown a status of in the sorting center or at customs. The Israeli postal system is pretty automated and I have never seen wrong information there.

When I try to track the package the Israeli post system says "there is no information on the package from abroad."

you can't track DHL on Israel postal site
better using DHL Tracking (heb/ger)

Well, 3 weeks after I paid MUSA the package FINALLY seems to be in Israel.

I will post when I receive it as well as a review once I try it.

Glad to hear this! It's the 3rd time in over 4 years that the package takes that long to arrive. I couldn't get any information about the reason yet from the post office guys and information Hotline.

Looking forward to hearing about your experience! @sickmanfraud

Just for the record and as to not misrepresent other products, here's a quite shitty quality picture (sorry) showing the Imp (alpha version which had even higher manufacturing tolerances, held by the body) and the Impcognito (held by the stem secured only by the o-ring which itself holds the body and the vape by the base o-ring)

imp.jpg

In fact the Impcognito o-rings are so tight I wasn't able to open the base yet (takes so much force I'm worried to break it as it's tiny and the wood base is so delicate) and since it's under 23mm it fits in all side-by-side mods designs and is much stealthier and compact.

In all honesty I had the Imp alpha body separate from the base once in transport, but that's because some lateral force was applied to it in the carry bag, and with a taller body there's even more coupling force when you apply lateral pressure. So I had more occurrences of body separation when using the iHeat which is much taller. I don't think the Musa 510 would be immune to that problem either.

You just gotta be careful during transport, wooden vapes are fragile anyways. Or use a vape that fits SBS mods and have the mod protect the atty (like in the SmoAnt Knight v2 shown above)

The Alpha Imp weighted around 24g and was abit fragile I think because of that. The base was a tiny wood (was really cheap tho! 75$ for this Imp which worked well)
How much the Musa 510 weight?
How does the base look like?

My MUSA 510 finally arrived.

First impressions: Wasn't worth the wait or money.

The coil glows red, but there is absolutely NO VAPOR production.

The Manuel says up to 34 watts. 34 watts and no vapor.

Tried it on two mods Cuboid mini and Cuboid 2000.

Does anyone know how to make this work?

Does the Arizer stem seal adequately within the o-ring?
Checked the air intake at the bottom of the base?

@blokenoname @sickmanfraud

I tested your vaporizer before shipping and it worked well.

I can understand that you may be mad because of the custom and waiting time, which has nothing to do with myself.

But I don't understand why you didn't write me at first before posting here? I might be the person who can help you best, right? ;)
Tell me how you use it and I can evaluate it.

I don't ship a not working unit. So you maybe have to change your technique. Try a slower drawspeed or higher the wattage.
The coil doesn't glow red while inhaling, the sucked in air prevents the coil from glowing.

I have tried it on several mods, Cuboid mini, Cuboid 200, A DNA75C and a DNA250C.

The DNA75C said that the atomizer was not there. Even though it did not find it to fire it said the resistance was .170 IIRC.

DNA250C says the Resistance should be about .400 but no vapor before .480.

No two mods reported the same resistance I was able to get some vapor using the Cuboid 200, but only with one of my stems (actually almost combusted) seems to get vapor. I tried 6 different Solo stems.

Is there a way to decrease air volume?

A PVHES Bent Vortex stem only worked for one rip.

What is the resistance supposed to be?

How do I get it to work?

@MUSA Vaporizer if the device worked as I believe it would/should then I imagine the ridiculous shipping issues might get forgotten. But, at this point in time receiving my vape is just increasing my displeasure.

I can understand you.
We will work it out!

The resistance should be about 0.6 - 0.7 ohm with a cold coil.

The draw resistance can be decreased by pressing the herb a little bit more into the stem.

Check if the screws are tight (both coil screws)

I have not been a good frame of mind and the last thing I wanted to do was be more frustrated/

I expect to try out some more things, but my DNA mods say the Resistance is WAY WAY lower than your figure of 0.6 or 0.7.

Make sure the coil is screwed in tight and has no contact to itself. This will fix your vape.
Did the custom open the package? I'm curious what happened with the package on this one month journey

Checked the screws they were tight.

Cuboid Mini reads the resistance at about .34. Pushing the fire button gets the coil red pretty quickly.

Then check the coil(s) windings are not touching each others. Or if there are several coils, that they are not in contact. That would definitely make your resistance lower and possibly have the short circuited part glow pretty red pretty fast while the rest of the coil is barely heating.

If your parcel was mishandled during transport, it's perfectly probable that the coil structure was altered. This is why in the Splinter there are those mica plates (and now ceramic I think?), it's to prevent partial heater shorts.

If we want to blame problems I have been having on the MUSA 510 on the coil getting moved I would like to see the "inside" of a known good coil.

Maybe, if I can see how the coil is supposed to look I could determine if mine is out of shape or not.

If you are reading a much lower resistance and getting no vapor, than it sounds like it's shorting somewhere. Where is the coil getting red? Everywhere?
If it's shorted then it's dumping most of the heat to places where you don't want it (likely the base) and the rest of the coil is cold so it won't heat the incoming air.
Check if the coil is not touching itself anywhere and that both ends only touch their screws.
If not, then you can try removing the coil and then check the resistenace without it.
That resistance should be really large, if it's not than it's the base that is shorting.
(Or your battery, you could maybe also try checking resistance without anything screwed into the 510 socket...?)

@sickmanfraud I've got another idea. You should check the resistance with the wooden body attached and then without it (just the RDA with the coil on). If the resistance is lower with the body on, then the coil might be shorting through the heater cover. To fix that, look at the coil from all angles and make sure it's perfectly centered. And hopefully it's radius is not too wide so it can fit there.
