After many vapes this has become my steady daily driver.

Love mixing wax with weed

Was it functionally superior when it comes to cooling the vapor.
I can't see how it would make a difference, unless the condenser inside is changed, which they haven't said in the video so I'm assuming it's the same design just a different wood piece, no? The slight different airport design can't possible make any difference I'm sure

Not often I post anything other than stems and IH's but I'm on holiday so I've got a bit of time on my hands.

For twisted tape turbulators to work they must be in the vapor path.
Each to their own but it's something I'd skip due to the cleaning. Not a lover of reclaim and I want the goodies in me first time around.
Other ways to skin the cool vapor cat.

Any IH relies on high amp batteries and run time is mah dependent.
12-15 bowls from 800mah in the Mini. Less than an hour to charge.
20-25 in the Hotbox but 3+ hours to charge 3600mah.

With the current situation and people jumping on that bandwagon it shouldn't be long until someone gets a truly pocketable device on the market.

I've spoken with @mistvaporizer about his 510 attachment and for me the time to the click is too long.
When I went from the triple 18650 to the beta Mini I noticed it straight away. Those few less seconds took me by surprise and going back to a slower heat application just has me mumbling 'come on'.

We spoke about upping the wattage on the mod to speed things up a bit. There will be a lot of wasted power in one as the coil heats the surrounding material and air.
Hats off to Mistvape for breaking new ground and it'll be interesting to see how far he takes it as The Beast evolves.

Triple VC heats very, very evenly with a triple torch and it's looking like they will be going out for sale in the next few months as long as the interest is there.

Also keep an eye out for a little something @Padriano, @davesmith and myself are working on. It's very close so hopefully we will have some news very soon.
Once we have some ready for sale there will be a few go out to test just for peace of mind and we'll get some usage videos up. I don't like preorders so no money will be taken until its ready to go to market.

Ok so I stopped smoking after a week and returned to my beloved Omni XL.

I usually blast 2 hits per load, I blow at the tip to cool it down in between so it's cool when I reheat.

Today I tried heating at the top and reheating again without cooling down inbetween about 5 seconds from click to reheating. I found I got 6/7 hits it started slow with nice flavour and clouds got bigger as it went on but you get 3/4 hits with not great flavour.

What do people thinks gets you higher? 2 fat hits or spreading the bowl out for 6/7 hits.

If THC boils around 356f at 420f are you losing some so start low and move up to get full spectrum or going straight at 420f are we getting same?

I've started finding that at least for me, I feel not as great if I take hit after hit, even 2 in a row. I find it feels much nicer to take a hit, have it kick in in 10-15 min, and see if you need another.

There's also a critical mass, like I won't feel too much from a certain amount but once I take that additional hit, that's where it hits home all of a sudden. So it really is worth experimenting, taking your time, and not being greedy (that just builds tolerance and makes your high worse than it could be if you took a hit or two less than you think you need

I've been holding out and not getting on the Dynavap train to-date (despite at least 40 vaporizers to my name to-date), but feel like I finally have an excuse to try one out.

I have a friend who has been away from cannabis for quite some time, and wishes to start again (now that testing is no longer a concern at his workplace as cannabis is now tolerated as long as you don't have it at work with you ... heavy machine operator at a camp job ...). I think the Dynavap might be just right as he wishes to stay away from smoking (as he quit a few years ago ... tobacco ... and doesn't want to risk anything ...). He's tolerance will be nil and he is generally gone in 2-3 week stretches for work, and would only be a casual user, so very small doses, .05g or less might be best for him.

I'm a .2-.3g person myself ... although these days I just use rosin ... but think the Dynavap might actually be pretty decent for that using organic cotton or hemp fibre ...

What does everyone think of the concentrate coil? Would it just get too gunked up too quickly for use with rosin?

I'm thinking the Nonavong XLS will be a good one to go with ... has the extra length and titanium condenser etc for better cooling, but cheaper starting point then the Omnivap or Omnivong ... and maybe the variable airflow isn't really required?

After soaking my vapcap in iso overnight and and cleaning a lot of the residue that the lighter leaves , my induction heater is hitting a lot better.
my vapcap is still not like new, any way to clean it so it looks like new or should i just get a new one for a induction heater?

@JCat, I have the NV XLS and love it. I use it 50/50 dry and through a water piece and both work perfect. And your finger serves as variable airflow :p I actually like that it's manual like that because on different days my mood is slightly different, some hits through a pipe some through lips, humidity of the particular flower will affect milking and so alll those change how much to feather the airport, and I find you can tell quicker and easier if your airflow is good if you feather vs static

The only downside for the NV is due to being wood, you can't clean it as easily as the metal models (got to take it all apart every time) and you really want to make sure the rings are lubed up otherwise the wood may wear out the rubber, plus the wood will need to be polished with oil or it will dry up over time (I do mine after every cleaning, which is every ~5-7 days with dry flower for me)

You could also get an Omni for the quality and use the fat mouth piece or another attachment to use through water if you don't use water often

I don't recommend the fat mouth piece as a primary water adapter personally. I've given up on mine already.

I haven't been able to get a good seal with it in any of my 4 water pieces all with 14mm joints. If I do get a decent seal, its so low I need tweezers to get it out again. Just my 2 cents in my very brief experience.

The opposite for me. I do recommend the fat mouth piece for water pipes. No problem with the fit at all. Both 14 mm and 18 mm bongs (with an adapter) work great.
Interesting. I wonder what I'm doing wrong, because I get air leaks no matter what I do. That's with the titanium mouthpiece in the fat adapter. No issues at all with a regular silicone adapter.

Maybe I get air leaks too and just don't notice it? I'll pay attention to this next time I rip it. I use a 2017 M for bongs and it's superb. However I'm not a fan of the fat mouthpiece. It's fugly and feels like a cheap workaround. I mean it works but I much prefer my Hydrobrick Maxx for water pieces over my Vapcap. Maybe it's time to get a Hydravong? Time for an upgrade? Let's wait for tomorrow's announcement.

I am a huge Dynavap fan and it's far and away my most used vaporizer...That being said I think it's not a great solution for concentrates. The coil is messy, it doesn't hold a ton of material, it needs to be cleaned constantly, etc. Like it's functional for occasional usage but you stated above you mainly smoke rosin (me too).

No, I just have other methods I prefer or find less hassle. TBH, I dont really understand how the heat application is high enough for concentrates. The tip and cap are optimized for flower extraction points and concentrates clearly burn higher. To be truly effective I believe they need to create a fully optimized concentrate version that includes higher heat point for the cap.
