Dabpress Rosin Plates

Manufacturer
@invertedisdead thanks for the welcome, have been around these 'blocks' myself for a long time. Friend saw my press, and as soon they were available in EU ordered one too.

If you feel like seeing more of my work, feel free to add me on instagram (Lume_extracts). I have been a happy 'dabpress user' for almost two years now:p

This welcome wagon shows up whether you're new or well seasoned!:D

Might be time for a hash hit! :sherlock:

Damn, looks very good @tepictoton!

Here is some auto orange bud flower rosin pressed in a 90u filter 2x 30mm pucks side by side, 20g in total, 5g per puck, for about 2.3g yield. Pressed out dark but it has this beautiful orange chocolate color, taste is more skunky not overly orange flavored. Consistency is a budder paste. Pressed at 200F for 2 mins with about 1300 PSI at the bags.

I pressed 3.08g of Milkshake Choco @94°C, I left the buds overnight with 62% hummidity packs, it was also my first try with drip tech.

I got a 21.4% return, I didn't get to much of a drip while the press was tilted, I'm still figuring out pressure and heat but pleased with my results so far.

@Cillianeire from what I have read, it seems like drip-tech is best used when pressing bigger amounts. I mean, you can certainly tilt the press regardless of the size of the puck(s) and some may run off, but it’s really for when you’ve got rivers of rosin and need to get it off the plates asap. I think that even with that excellent ~21% yield, 3g of flower just isn’t enough to drip. Now I have seen 3g of sift or bubble yield gushers, but not with flower IIRC. You’re killing it though, your pics look seriously yummy! Please keep sharing (pics and percentages)! :peace:

Matter of fact, there’s been a lot of beautiful pictures over the last few pages!

Yeah that makes sense, I've been limiting myself to 3g presses at most, I already have too much rosin for how quickly I can get through it . Is it possible to press kief from a grinder the same way as sift or would should I run it through a smaller micron first?
Thanks to everyone in this thread I was able to hit the ground running and start getting good results almost immediately. I defintely plan to keep posting photos and percentages here, I want give back to the community here.

It should also be stated, even though around these parts we have pretty dank choices. Starting material plays a huge role and how it's been handled! People wanna press shake. Quality in quality out, never been more true.

Yes you can press grinder kief. I would suggest a smaller micron like our 37u filter bags to contain everything. Lower temps, less pressure and slower pressure delivery should do the trick! Flower is generally where people begin then they move into kief and hash for the super meds.

I had the same great experience, reading all the posts gave me enough confidence to start with a 10g puck without fear(nearly 20% return).
I am also interested in the kief, I only have grinder stuff from my 88mm SpaceCase but that can be pretty nice looking;

Might just hand pack a 37au 2x4 bag, squish around 180f at 2000psi for 2.5 mins?
Semi educated guess, please tell me what to do if I am terribly wrong.

Yes eventually, we just released them this month so we are awaiting interest to determine how many to send off to the US warehouse. We've sold around 10 of the sauce plates so far, so things are looking good =)

...tell me more aboot the sauce plate, please...

...I like keif well enough as is to just leave it alone at this point but I have some high percentage grind I want to try...

...we will try that first methinks and see if 7 grams will drip...

You can check out the product here -

It's can be used to change the consistency of your oil. You can also experiment using your home oven at lower temperatures. The general gist of it is you are evaporating some terpenes and they recondense and slide back down the jar and you can begin to see some separation and crystallization layers when it is working. There can be some degradation as well so it's important to know you can fully decarb your material if you're not careful!

7 grams of kief should drip I'd say.

...duuude...Hapo no press kief...Hapo vape kief...LoL...

...my first press will be this "select grind" crap from the dispensary...

...it is not very select but it has a high TCH count, often as high as 30%...

...it's aboot $5 a gram...it is much coarser than kief...there will be bits of chopped stem to remove and a few tiny nuggets, and a good bit of frosty leaf...

...there is a good bit of keif in it, too, though...this particular batch is a hybrid that tested @ 26 percent THC...

...why thy fuk did you not sell me that before when you had the chance...?!?...

...I kept asking you what else I could / should buy and you blew me off, maaaan…!!!...LoL… .!.:D.!.

Smells and tastes even better then it looks hihi

That is beautiful rosin, and looks like a shit ton of it too.

I picked up 3 eighths the other day. Blueberry, Banana tangie, and some other indica. It all smelled wonderful but the flavor wasn't so great or pronounced. I have stored each away in a vacuum sealed jar with a boveda pack. I'm gonna give them a couple weeks before pressing any of them. I plan to press an eighth at a time as that seems to work well for my situation. I know it's based on many factors, but I tend to get around .75g of rosin for each eighth I press.
