I have a OmniVong XL, 2018 M steel tip (modded to add notches) on a Chillium pipe, and two Ti tips on Ddavemod Water Wand V2s. When it comes to bong use, I prefer the Water Wand V2 glass stems. Not a big fan of wooden stems after my experience with the OmniVong... It can get stuck in the bong joint, retains smell, and is not as easy to clean. The wood loses its luster if you soak it in iso so you have to reapply wax. Wood can crack too with the passage of time. Not a big fan of steel / Titanium stems too as those tend to result in hotter vapor.

Best combo for me is the Ti Tip, Water Wand V2 glass stem with no condenser, and a diffusion pump bong (either FC-710 or Rattle Can), and of course an Induction Heater.

Just my 2 cents.

Glad you found something that works for you.

The thermal conductivity of "glass" is much lower than metals.
Pyrex around 0.50 to 2.00 SI.
Titanium around 15.00 and higher.
Pure aluminum as high as 24,000

I find that the torch and I determine the vapor temperature.

My hunch is there is not much difference in vapor temperature between any stem/condenser material given the short vapor path and the brief period when the vapor is in the tube. Needs scienceing. :mental:

I would say with the exception of the spiked stems. With my SplinterZ for example, it is really uncomfortable (for me) to hit it directly with a regular straight stem so I almost always go through water. However I CAN hit it comfortably with my custom XL8R stem with thick glass. After 3 or 4 hits the stem gets significantly warm, which is heat not getting to my lungs. I only take my Splinters out of the house with one of these cooling stems.
I don't have any spiked glass stems (yet) for my VC tips and caps, but I suspect they would work similarly.

You may want to be extra careful with thin-walled-spiked-stems. They are egg shell thin. Fragile.

Mine broke as I was trying to insert an SS tip. Perhaps a Ti tip (which is slightly smaller) might
Save you a similar experience. :sherlock: Annoying. :) Kinda.

PS Aren’t SS tips touted to be 8mm....

from my experience, I would say generally that the SS tips are a slightly smaller diam insertwise, than the Ti. A forum member pointed us to DDavemod's warning that he found some Ti tips that are also inserting at 7.9mm. I measured all my Ti tips - none of them are the smaller variety...all my SS tips are.

I like your meme...took a screenshot of it. I noticed that you tend to change your memes, but have stuck with this one for a couple days now

Hey we've been working on this new design for a stash case called our vape station, just thought I would post a photo here and see what people think of the concept. gives you a place to store a regular or xp stash, a spare dynavap, there's an abv tin, a couple dynamags. size is 3.5 x 9.25" and 1.25" thick.

Brilliant Cut Grinder, NonaVong XLS, resting on an @InterplanetaryTanner Launchpad (so much more convinient and tactile-fun for use around the house than the DynaStash XL!! Love this thing)

Missing: nice high quality metal single-flame torch lighter to finish up the Zen collection (you know, the zen life is all about being materialistic.. ha)

I dont quite see the need for a case inside a case...is this more for home storage? I would actually prefer a slimmed down version like this without the extra space for the case. I'd rather see it reserved for a torch cutout. Basically another offering besides your current case.

@MAbud so a case for a lighter instead of the stash? There's a wide range of size in torch lighters, sure it's something we could look at.

The concept is a session tray or travel case, also would work well on a coffee table.

Love the progress on these. So pretty. Addition of the tin is cool.

Yes instead of the stash have it hold a lighter as really the ultimate travel case. I think there is kind of a general range that most torches fall into or that someone at least has one of in their stable. If you look at the Honest, Xikar Tech lighter (single dual or triple) and Blazer Pocket Torch I'd think that would cover your bases pretty well.

Asa data point of 1, I would order a setup like this immediately that I could store everything for a day out and about or road trip in.
