All glass, stainless steel, and ceramic. No plastic funk! The silicone sleeve can go on the outside of a stem, knda like the cardboard sleeve on a coffee. I don’t use mine at all, I just don’t grab it where its hot.
Best choice ever, Ive had mine 5 years, my only other vape is dynavap. If you start with the best you won’t get VAS.

Thank you for confirming that the air path is still pure! I didn't want to make the same mistake as my first purchase.

I'm hoping that's the case. Ideally I'd have purchased the E-Nano from the start, but hopefully it'll be my last vape for some time. Although, I can see myself picking up a Dynavap M to complement the E-Nano.


Now to pick a wood, stems, and when to actually purchase it. I wish I knew if/when their Labor Day sale starts. :/

Have you tried a glass mouthpiece with the POTV One? And have you tried cleaning it/doing burn offs?

Im still in favor of you getting the enano for home use, its awesome but the POTV One would be great to keep for on the go.

Unfortunately yes. :(

I've tried it with the bent glass mouth piece and the mini curved bubbler. I've done ~15 - 20 full temp burn offs. I could never get it to have a neutral taste / smell before using it so I decided to see if it would disappear after using it. However, quite a few uses later, I still catch an odd silicone flavor. Usually near the end of a bowl - which makes me think the herb is just masking the taste.

I'm not saying there's a health issue with the vape, and chances are I'm just really sensitive to either the silicone gasket or something else used in its construction. It's just that I'm not personally comfortable using it daily, long term. For the occasional use I'll most likely keep it charged. At least until I get a different portable.

I've also found several other people complaining about taste / smell with the Fury 2 which I believe uses the same gasket material (different metal screen) so I'm pretty sure I'm not just being paranoid. :tinfoil:

I'm glad that I won't have to worry about any plastics in the E-Nano air path.

Edit: I haven't tried using the stock Fury 2 style mouth piece. I wonder if it's something in the accessory adapter? Something I'll have to play with tomorrow after giving it another cleaning.

If the glass mouthpiece didn't work then I doubt the stock mouthpiece (which I believe has silicone seals on top and bottom) will work. I haven't seen one but idk why the glass mouthpiece would have a bad taste since I thought it got rid of the silicone seals. After messing with it, if you're still not happy with flavor check out arizer products, I've owned an air and solo and they both have pretty good flavor.

But yes enano is ceramic heater surrounded by a metal tube and then your glass water pipe adapter or stem. I doubt you'll taste anything but your herb with it.

I recommend the ice stem. I seldom use my standard stems since getting mine and the only advantage they really have is adjustable bowl size. Which reminds me, I recommend the adjustable bowl wpa. It gives you more flexibility for different size loads while keeping your material from touching the heater.

I agree. The ice stem and the WPA are the way to go. I’ve also had success using a J hook

Thanks for the advise. When I place my order I'm going to upgrade to the Ice Stem and go for an adjustable WPA. For someone who currently owns zero glass, would you recommend the 14mm or 19mm? From a quick look it seems like most cheaper glass / j hooks use 14mm. Edit: Not trying to derail this thread again looking for glass advise; just more curious if there is a performance difference between the 14mm / 19mm WPA with the E-Nano.

Has anyone directly compared the Ice Stem to the long original style? I wonder how much of a difference there is in temp? Seems like the Ice Stem would be a lot less awkward to use though.

Hi @CBDFrost and welcome to the nano group!

14 vs 19mm is a matter of preference and/or what you already have for glassware. Starting out fresh, I would consider finding a piece of glassware you like (bubbler, jhook, ashcatcher) and match it to the wpa. Some pieces are offered in both sizes while others are specific. Once you get hooked on vape toys you'll probably end up with both sizes for all the glass you buy :ko:. I have found that I use 14mm more often and I do believe you would have more options if looking for smaller pieces like jhooks, mini-bubblers and dab rigs. Maybe if you think concentrates might be in the picture in your future, you might use a 14mm for dab rig sized pieces more often.

On the ice stem. I like mine because it does cool (but not moisturize) vapor and truly gives massive hits. The one downside for me is the fixed glass screen. I tend to like adjustable screens in order to account for whatever sized load I want to stuff in. I also tend to use pieces of rosin smeared cotton and often need a bit more space in the bowl area. I am happy I got the ice stem to use as part of rotation, but I was never a big dry stem user and I focus on the wpa's. You will eventually find what you like.

I'd say 14mm since the J-Hook is 14. I prefer the Ice Stem to the standard. The glass is thicker and the little marbles seem to cool the vapor. Only downside is that the screen is fixed in place, but I don't think that's a real big deal.

The ice stem makes much bigger hits comfortable compared to the standard long stem.

Here's the China glass thread where you can familiarize yourself with the usual suspects. I have a D020-d from dhgate and it's fine for smallish cheap glass. I'm curious about the F-187 from the same selection but I don't vape at a table top so I'm not sure if it'd be cumbersome for the couch. Dhgate routinely takes two weeks to a month to be delivered though.

hi everyone.

I am from Ireland. Yesterday I was using my enano in my friends house. Since in Ireland we run off 220 volts I was using a big bulky stepdown converter. The stepdown converter was plugged into a power outlet with many other things plugged in it. When I went to turn on the enano a pop sound was made and a blue flash happend where the power cord for the enano plugs into the enano itself. All the power is the house went. We got the power back working but the vape wont turn on now at all. It seems like it could be a blown fuse but Im not sure. Does anyone know what happend and what caused it? is it fixable does anyone know.?

thanks for any advice people can give. I dont know much about electrics.

I had exactly the same thing happen to me (I'm in England btw). First thing I tried was to replace the step down converter - that didn't work. Next I replaced the power cable - that didn't work either. Eventually I bought the extended warranty and had the E-Nano unit itself replaced, now everything is working great :)

My advice would be to spend a bit more on a higher quality step down converter, and you should have less problems.

what stepdown converter were you using?
I bought my enano second hand so wont be covered by a warranty.

Contact customerservice@epicvape.com for the details. I assume you may have to pay more for international shipping since the page says it only covers domestic.

But I have heard of other people doing it and I plan on doing it if mine ever dies.

it was my friends one.
I usually use a mercury 230-110 stepdown converter with no problems.
I was just wondering if the bulky one was not meant for the enano or something.

I was using a cheap Mercury brand converter when it blew up, I did buy another one the same but that one buzzed like crazy, so I bought a Tacima one and this feels a lot more solidly built.

Looks great! Can I ask: Did you by any chance add any clicks or resistance to the turning mechanism? That's the only improvement I can imagine making to the nano: that is, making it harder for the knob to be turned by brushing up against something. Though it'll help to have that bigger base.

Speaking of this, has anyone figured out how to add turning resistance to the knob on their current cord? I've tried rubber bands just underneath the knob, but that feels too kludgy. Even thought (in my more altered states) about getting a smart dimmer plug to control the nano from my phone.
