New members or new guests continually come & read. When I was a newbie I couldn't follow or fully understand many posts because they weren't explicit enough. So when I post I always try to make my posts as detailed as nec. so others fully understand what I'm saying & so the newbies can follow along. I'm never bashful in asking for (further) clarification when I don't understand.

I bought one of the sale V2's. So awesome that the inner nippled cooling stems were included. I don't have my mod box or batteries in yet but I just love the wood grain and colors.

I know how an IG story is meant to be watched, but it's been done with a previous IG story of Ryan, same as with numerous other IG stories. When there's a stream, there's means to record it. I'm so old that I don't miss having to watch stuff in real-time or not watch it at all..

So my splinter z seems like its not producing as much vapor/heating my bud as efficiently as usual, although it does still work.
For reference I have it on a Realeaux rx gen3 on tcr 120 set to 365F and have in the past been having issues in the past with it auto swapping to wattage mode sometimes when I'd hit it if that matters.

Is your splinter showing the same resistance as it used to? Mine sits at around 0.4 ohms cold.
Yes mine is at .4 as well, sometimes goes to .39

Ok, so there is nothing wrong with your heater at least. Have you cleaned/ changed your screen in your stem recently? If not, you would be surprised how little gunk it takes to start restricting airflow, which is a sure fire way of decreasing performance in a convection vape.

I do it all the time. When I get any of my vapes warm, I’ve got my beeswax/mineral oil mix ready to go. It’s almost therapy for me...
