Volcano Hybrid

It was just too much hardware. Too many metal parts. Took a lot of space. It was good but I don’t want to hit the flowerpot everyday. Also you had to control your draws very well in order for the hot air to flow over the Herb at the ideal speed depending on the temp your enail is set at.

The Volcano definitely takes up more space than the Flowerpot, I've owned/used both extensively.

Ive always found breath control to be paramount when doing a bong hit, the FP is no exception there.

Sounds like you just prefer a more direct administration method, which is totally cool.

FP is a Microdose master though, Volcano definitely isn't. They both produce vapor that is too dry/harsh for me. Although I haven't tried the new Hybrid so I'm just referencing the Classic/Digit.

I can microdose better with my Nonavong with less harshness.

Well I feel that the FlowerPot was too harsh for me personally as well.

I never really felt that way about the Volcano when I try it at weed cafes. It does get ‘dry’ but usually not ‘harsh’. I was thinking that if I were to hook the whip to my bong from the Volcano it can’t be that harsh or dry amirite?

It's hard to really compare things until you have them in your home. But I personally equate dry with harsh: or anything that makes me cough uncomfortably. Your mileage may definitely vary, I'm more sensitive to vapor than most.

Not sure on the whip, never used one with a Volcano. I really would like to try one of those pump assisted water rips, but as much as I like the idea of the added versatility of the whip, I don't think I could ever go back to one as a daily administration method. For me the whip is certainly nostalgic, and that's about it. Honestly bags too, but I digress. If I didn't own a Volcano for 10 years already I probably wouldn't be as bored of bags as others.

I will say if space is an issue, IMO a Volcano whipped to a bong probably takes up more room than anything else on the market.

That said, if you were a big fan of your Mighty, you might really dig the Hybrid! Definitely cool to see an update on the most iconic vaporizer of all time.
It's about as different as you could get from your Vapcap which is pretty exciting!

I loved my Mighty till it broke after the warranty period then I didint want to pay $350 to repair fee from S&B.

I got a FlowerPot and Dynavap, used the FlowerPot mastered it but sold it thereafter due to harshness of the vape and stuck with using my Dynavap. Although I love my vapcap I miss loading a mighty/bag and sipping on it. Im still thinking about spending $1000CAD on this baby

So I'm on the verge of returning the Hybrid, after two weeks of testing. I've talked with the shop and they're ok with it.

I currently own a Mighty for sessions on the couch, an E-Nano for micro-dosing and a (still working) Grasshopper for taking outside. The only thing missing was a vaporizer that could handle a group of stoners, and well the Volcano Hybrid fills that gap!

Tough for solo sessions filling the Hybrid chamber is too much for only me and I don't like the results with the liquid pad and the reducer (also with capsules). Also I don't like reheating herbs with conduction in the mix. One capsule is enough for me and I think the Mighty delivers bether results then the Volcano with the reducer and bag(s). I would like to put one capusle in one superterpyandcloudybag but I did not get the results I was looking for.

The whip does add something nice, but I get the same effects as my Mighty, and the whip will stink and needs to be replaced.

So what is my use case? Spending that amount of money only to vape one time in a month with friends is a bit too much...and I'm still thinking of just keeping it.

VAS :/

--- sorry for the bad grammer, I've taken out the Volcano for (possible) the last time.

There is good information here. Thanks for your telling us your experience.

So essentially the Volcano isnt a high powered vape that can take a lot out of a little bit of a weed like the Vapcap/FlowerPot/StickyBrick is what you are trying to say? And having to reheat herb that is 60% already vaped isnt your ideal way to do it, which is understandable.

It is a more gradual vaporization up and generally good for group sessions. Solo sessions are easier with Enano or other vape. Did I understand what you were trying to convey?

Hey guys, I just wanted to give my own update and some thoughts on the Hybrid. So I have been using the whip over the last two days. Just getting over a cold, so I wanted to start slow. Very nice experience with the whip. I got some really excellent hits. I really don't see a ton of difference with the amount of vapor I get, lets say, compared to my Milaana. I do like how cool the hits are. It almost feels weird with absolutely no warmth.

Now onto the bag. I did two different sessions. My first round was a dryer flower I got on the cheap. Definitely some excellent hits. I got 4 draws per bag throughout. I kind of expected the results, but it was the flower being on the dry side where I didn't get the bag really cloudy. The second round, I used much better flower. I would say that it was an insane difference from the first session. Extreme vapor with all three bags. Exactly like Troy's bags. This time, it was 5 draws per bag and I barely noticed any difference from all 15 draws, except for the expected dryness taste at the end. The first bag was terpy. Second bag was excellent too and then the third bag was a little dry, but still a great taste. I think I could have turned the machine off after the second bag, but I wanted to do a third bag for science, lol. Since I ordered the wrong Chamber Reducer, I used the regular bowl. Oh, I forgot, I used Obsidian. The Obsidian is a must use for me from now on. You can tell, it adds some nice humidity to the bag.

I really do not have a problem with the touch screen. It doesn't bother me using the up and down buttons for the temperature. The app works fine for me also. I am not having any issues. I haven't used all the features on it yet. I don't want to see like a fanboy here. I never thought I would purchase a desktop vape, but I am a fanboy now. The whip is really good. I think I said earlier, maybe a little more vapor than a top portable, but the bag is a whole different animal. I really don't want to keep going on here. I can get massive clouds with my Sticky Brick OG, but the bag is on a whole different level. It is excellent as a solo vape. If you use a chamber reducer, that makes it solo vape even more.

Well it is a high powered vape, you can tell when using the whip. I don't think theirs enough room in one standard bag to put all the vapor from one dozing capsule in.

I think it's really personal, when I'm watching a movie on the couch I don't like the E-Nano, I don't like grinding up herbs, putting it in the device of choice etc. So for solo-"sessions" I prefer the Mighty or even the Volcano Hybrid with the whip. Capsule in capsule out!

For microdosing the E-Nano easily wins, I use the E-Nano when playing games and I want some quick hits, so you really can't compare a session with a on-demand vape. And again I'm lazy, i have 6 stems I all pre-load.

All I care about is tasty clouds.... what's the verdict there? Better than a mighty? Worse than a Evo? No where close to a firefly?

Anyone try this thing next to a Herbalizer? How does it compare there? A viable substitute/replacement? (Except for the app, what's the difference?)

For solo-sessions AND chilling on the couch I don't want to refill a bag, i'm just lazy.
If I did not own a Mighty the Volcano would have stayed, no doubt.

The first bag is very tasty and with the whipp you will get tasty clouds for sure.

Just think of your Mighty with 5x as much weed.

In theory you should be able to crush a bowl through the bong pretty quickly with the whip. Hopefully someone can chime in on that... with a video clip :D

...never been a fan of the bag, I’m old ...after the initial “wonder” of seeing all that vapor in a “bag”...it’s just not my preferred method..hey...some folks don’t like carrots... I just never appreciated sucking my vapor out of a bag...I’m sure I have other idiosyncrasies which are...different....when I use a bag...it’s to have a different experience.

Yes I am surprised! Troy didint even mention the Whip or use it in the video. I love using mine. It really extracts the bowl faster, for me it’s only like 20 hits max with the whip, versus the 3-4 bags I can get.

Have you tried running the pump with the whip?

Do you feel this is the best whip vaporizer on the market?

Running the pump with the whip is an amazing experience, everyone should indulge. Its like an oxygen mask pumping vapor into your body. If I was on the death bed, I would beg for the volcano by my side with the whip in my mouth and some fan assistance
