The TUBOx is better for water use since it is 2 pieces connected by a cable. Only the heater part needs to be balanced on a water piece the batteries and mod box are "on the ground or table".

Hey how long does it usually take for @funkyjunky to respond to emails? I’m trying to order a custom dual but no response. It’s understandable bc he’s extremely busy but I’m just afraid some of the custom options will be gone. Thanks!

Welcome to FC, @Zns4 .

@funkyjunky is in Europe and large parts of Europe go on vacation for much of the summer (and this year it is sweltering in Europe) so it is not always easy to reach Europeans NOW. Please give @funkyjunky a bit of time to get back to you.

Don't worry, @Zns4 if the unit you want was sold @funkyjunky can probably make a second (or 3rd).

@Zns4 the Tubo is worth the wait.

Can someone please tell me which batteries are the best right now?
Sony VTC5 or VTC4? It's been a while since I've bought some and it's that's time again. I want my Tubo to run as best as possible. Thank you.

Doesn't have to be Sony!

I am now part of the Tubo club! So....

....where do I start?

ETA: so it's pretty intuitive isn't it? Set to temp and let her RIP!

So my follow up question is, how do I get the best out of my Tubo?

Practice. And that's the fun part. Enjoy.

The key is to explore how much you pack each bowl, and how much "strong" do you pack it? using little finger or some tool to pack it, or not?
another thing is to realize when to stop vaping, which temperature, go by the taste
some people stop at 220 C, some at 200 C, some even at 190 C

I'm in love with the new Tubo Evic

errr Tubo Dual
errr Tetra Dual?

I dunno. but it's GLORIOUS

I like the new format, one vote here for keeping it

And as a bonus, more videos? Yes please.

I was sold before you even took a hit. I think my willpower was only strong because I was hoping to see you hit the normal glass pieces a bit more, everything I've bought through/from Ralph has been great.

Love my Tubo, Ralph, please take more of my money!

Now I'm off to recreate your session with my Tubo and my Tubo-X

I can't believe myself sometimes- I have only had my Tubo for two days now, and I love it, and I am already eyeing up something with a tetra heater...

I love how I don't need to stir with my tubo to get an even vape, I do need to spin the stem (a complete non-issue) but I imagine the tetra heater sorts that out anyway!

yesyesyes! the video is awesome! :D:tup: very glad the new dual is well received!

as for naming convention i prefer to refer to this iteration as the "DUAL" (new units with tetra heater, first twenty with triple tubo heater). after all are built we will move on to proper "TETRA"s (you read right, plural). i think it will take me around 2-3 months to go through the evic vtc duals i have stocked. a new thread will be opened in time to announce everything, until then further info is kept secret :ninja::tinfoil:.

there is one new thing i want to show. finally got around to get this produced. very effective dry smoothing/cooling. 22mm joint length (you are welcome other vapes!). the NUB cooler!

and for those not watching closely on instagram you can hack a smell proof case for stems with a 18650 silicone battery sleeve. works on shorter glass mps as well.

both available on the store! thanks for looking

hf

edit: TUBO and TUBOx respectively tetras should be able to perform exactly the same when things are set up. the all in one models include the calibration to the built in mod by me, 510 models are calibrated to my cuboid200. unfortunately the mods dont read the resistances the same even within the same model, therefore the recommended value i hand out with T***xes might not be exactly the right one. increase resistance number to make it generally hotter, decrease it to make it generally colder, also rtfm :D

Personally i just rock cruise mode pretty much 247. Doing 2 or 3 loads each sesh also means the battery goes a lot further as the heaters been soaked so long allready

Nice! I have been finding I get a decent amount of sessions out of a battery as I'm kind of using cruise mode but hitting it the way I would in on demand.

Very excited to hear what else is coming out of @funkyjunky s genius brain!

Always glass variance, but Milaana are 22mm (just Splinter V1/V2 are 19mm)

I'm pretty sure both of my Mi's are 19mm depth? They get used more than enough, but are set up with semi-permanent glass and I really don't remember, but.....

19mm would be safe and work with end caps, just saying.

Yeah, but they are officially supposed to be 22mm depth and so are Splinter Zs

No, it's a very early Mi and a follow up. I don't think either are deep. Unfortunately the spec's have been inconsistent, maybe not the full depth, but not fully deep either.
