Sorry, I don't understand... is this vape a new iteration of the Nano or the V5? looks like a V5 with more battery life to my understanding... no full t° range but just presets and no replacable batteries, it will not replace my Nano for sure.

Hi PPN, sorry, my mistake to mix this title with another threads content. The NANO you mentioned, I believe is the same product V5 NANO we call. Here's the link you can check it through https://flowermate.com/product/v5-nano/
Thank you for correcting us.

I assume the mouthpiece is safe to be soaked in ISO and the bowl can be cleaned with ISO as well?

I understand it’s a hybrid but he main heat is created via convection?

I'd rate it as mostly conduction. And the base of the mouthpiece is plastic, so never a good idea to let is soak in solvents. But swabbing is okay. The bowl is black ceramic so no issue here.

I been pretty impressed with the Flowermate Slick at it's price point. I have had it since it came out. It is the only FM device I own but yesterday I received the V5 Nano in the mail. I did a quick burn off and wiped everything down with some iso , packed the oven full and was surprised at the vapor it put out in the 1st hit. Heat up time was very quick , 30 seconds and its ready to go. It was a bit larger than I had expected given it has the name Nano. Its about the size of a pack of cigarettes. The fact that the mouth piece can be hidden under the unit while not in use is pretty cool. The packaging was put together well. I started at 375F and worked my way up to 390F to finish off the bowl. The avb was uniform and browned evenly . I also believe the Mp may fit the slick and vise versa , I'll have to give it a try. Oh and it came with a funnel in the package that works on both devices and helped not make a mess, I like that allot and see myself using it with other vapes as well. The led screen is large and very visible. I am unsure of how it will hold up but so far so good. This will definitely be a great travel vape for me. I also popped one of the included screens below the Mp to help keep everything clean. Also a removable 18650 battery is included and that's a big plus in my eyes with any vape today. I do not like when companies come out with a vape and make it so you cannot replace the battery yourself. I appreciate it @FLOWERMATE OFFICIAL .

Well I’m excited. My vape is going to be here this afternoon. Will get it after work. Can’t wait to hit my first bowl out of it. Hoping the initial charge isn’t too long as I do wanna use it and get ripped all night off the sucker. Been a rough two days now with bullshit. So hopefully this will will provide happiness. Thanks again flowermate for the giveaway.

@Justpassedu Thank you, hope you enjoy the best!
Ty also , been using it the past few days and have no complaints. It works well & I'm really liking how the mouthpiece can be hidden as well as the door that closes above the herb chamber. Heat up time has been quick and the battery has yet to die on me and I am about 7 sessions in so far. I think its almost ready for a charge . @ginolicious you should enjoy this 1.

So I guess I need a full pack in the chamber on this thing? Not getting too much visible vapor at 170 or 180c. Do I need to pack full and tamp tight? I may try the herb can next.

Does this thing use the same heater as the Ambit?

Feels great in the hand and overall design is very nice.

Yes I pack the oven full and tamp down very lightly , 380f and up and I get very nice clouds . The can will take longer to heat compared to just packing the oven . You will not get as much visible vapor using it. I don’t use it . I don’t believe it uses the same heater as the Ambit . I always grind also medium to fine .

Had a nice session last night on my new v5 nano that @FLOWERMATE OFFICIAL sent me.

The unit is lovely, light small convenient, heats nice and quickly!

Used about 0.1g and had nice effects with even avb without a stir. Very little visible vapor (to be expected with so little in the chamber) but it definitely did the job.

A question for more seasoned users- I'm using the screen at the bottom of the oven (I don't want avb getting through the bottom of the oven where I can't clean it out), but I'm wondering if there is any trick to not dumping it out when I empty my avb out at the end of a session?

I still have not figured that out with the screen and not dumping it out.

I’m enjoying this vape as well. I used the herb chamber twice last night. And it was great. I do prefer full bowls right in the unit.

I do need to steer my head towards small rips on it. That you can pull long and hard like I do with other vapes I own. Especially the convention ones. Need to change my technique with this one and it seems to be working for me.

I tried the pod once with a micro dose in there, but, like you, being used to majority convection for most of my primary vapes it was quite difficult to get a full extraction, even at max temp I could not get the material particularly dark.

I wonder if I'm just being prudish about getting herb under the heater and should just forget about it and not worry about the screens. Maybe a bit of compressed air would get any "dust" out from under the bowl and out of the airflow underneath...

I use the screen in the bottom. I have no issue with it. When you dump out your avb just pour it into something or in your hand.

Aye that's pretty much the plan. At home I always empty into a little jar anyway, it's more for out and about when it may go flying!

Once it resins up a bit the screen should not fall out but I am around 15 uses in and it still falls out , its actually good its not stuck in there for cleaning purposes. I also use that same screen on the top of my flowers after I pack the bowl. It helps keep the mouthpiece screen clean. 380F & up and I am getting very nice clouds with the Nano.

I did wonder if a bit of resin would keep it in place, but obviously as you say it needs to be able to come out in order to clean the whole thing, so I can't really think of a way of keeping it in place that allows me to get it back out! Maybe a circlip of some sort would do the trick! Wouldn't want to scratch the ceramic though. I'm probably overthinking the whole thing anyway! It's no major gripe, just a little ease of use thing.

definitely over thinking it lol , screens are designed to come out. To tight in a deep oven and you'd have some trouble , you can always cut your own screen to size though for perfect fitment and just get it out with a pick of some sort. I have done this a few times with other vapes.

Loving this vape. I like it. Takes me 10 minutes give or take to finish a nicely packed bowl. Easy to clean. But I do got a question. Are both screens removable from the mouthpiece? Or is it only one, the bottom one?

From what I have read I believe only the bottom screen in the mouth piece is removable.
