* You'll put batteries in the mod, screw on the Splinter Z, set wattage to anywhere between 30 and 40W and just hold the fire button down when you draw. That's it! Everyone who owns a Splinter still uses it in wattage mode part of the time and there is no firmware or setting hassle involved (pretty sure I've explained that already).

Not everyone. I have either used Tubo Software or DNA. I never took one hit in wattage mode.

@flammy you are a VERY patient person.

Mr. Ed, is the woodscent from that french site legit and shipped from europe?
https://www.vaporisateur.net/woodsc...orisateur-log-2-en-1-woodscents-aromalog.html

Another (stupid) question, do i obviously need a 110 to 220 transformer for europe usage right?

Ahh good morning, no sir the WS sold by my guy there has the appropriate EU power supply already with it. See thats another reason why WS hits the mark on all aspects and features BOOM!! Hope this is helpful and I look to hear what you think when you have given it a go!

Thanks so much missy / @Summer

No sir my guy in France is at https://www.vaporisateur.net/ pls tell him I sent you and I know he will take care of you. Vootra is one of my dealers here in the US and got a bit confused in my reply about him earlier.

My guy in France is very helpful and accommodating if you need more info on that side of things as far as the ordering and such I know he would be happy to assist ya in any way.

Good luck and pls keep me posted.

Opus BT-C3100 is the charger I am currently using. This is a great charger that received much praise from the candlelight forum. Thats another expensive hobby I broke away from. I have gone thru a couple of the nitecore's and I prefer the Opus for all of its features. It does pretty much it all and the setup is great for removal of batteries and I like the cord is an angled adapter and works with a battery bag just great.

Yes it is a good charger for 18650. It just wasn't very durable for me and it tears up the wrap on the battery. I do have some numbness in my finger tips and the Opus is easier to remove the batteries. What you have is just fine. Make sure to always use a charging bag.

Me, too: charging bag?

@TheDudeNextDoor suggested these EU vendors as reputable:

www.nkon.nl
www.akkuteile.de
http://ecoluxshopdirect.co.uk

Per @Pyr0, here's another excellent, well trusted UK vendor for batteries:
https://www.fogstar.co.uk/
*Usually discounts on Fridays and at multiple times during the year (just sign up for the newsletter).

If you have a 2+ batt mod, you can go with either a 3000mah 20A CDR (continuous discharge rating) or the Sony VTCA5. Check the thread for what batteries the other SP users are using.

The battery charger you have is fine.

I am sorry for posting like this. https://www.amazon.com/Youdepot-Fireproof-Sleeve-Explosion-Proof-Storage Wow, I am always surprised at the number of people who don't use them. I have had an 18650 vent inside one of these bags and I am so grateful I had it. Bag was only melted on the outside after it all. My wife was able to grab the bag and throw it outside. I always use one for external battery charging not cell phone or tablet. It's another level of protection and peace of mind for a cheap price.
