Hey all... I come with both sad and happy news.

Cyndi will need to have surgery in the near future so she did not want to take on the RBT CS role. We wish her the best medical care and a speedy recovery and I am sure she will be vaping soon.

Exciting news is that RBT has taken on a partner that will be running the www store and CS. Please send any CS related inquiries his way at joe@rastabuddhatao.com and he will be sure to respond inside of a few days. If you need immediate assistance you can call me direct at 518-491-4812.

...and more good news is that @khelek41girl is training to be the RBT service and repair center in the US. This is a natural fit with her work to make mouthpieces and there are plans in the future for her to do some unique custom work that will complement both brands. Please follow her on IG and pick-up some of here fine artisan work soon.

Piss my pants excited that these two parts of the business are in the hands of people that are passionately engaged in this community... this is what its all about.

Look for fun and exciting things to happen real soon and so many thanks to all of you that have helped create RBT.

Hope all is well with Cyndi moving forward. Glad to see @khelek41girl joining the team, I've seen great stuff here, on Reddit and Insta. Looking forward for whats to come!

As far as MY Z goes my friends, like @tonuzzi it has been my daily for months. Using sur_myevic with my mods, at first an RXGen 3, then RXGen3 dual, now I'm using it with a triple battery Joyetech Cuboid 200. Picked up a 3 battery charger and so far it has been working great. I feel like the temperatures have been a little more stable on this unit than my Wismecs, but it needs more testing to be sure. Currently using the following settings

TCR 145
365f-385f starting depending on consistency of material, ending around 405f to 420f
36w
0.415 ohms locked

With my more recent material, I'm getting 8-12 plentiful pulls before I up the temp and kill the load. I use the stem packing method and cap it off with a bucket screen so my unit has been pretty clean, no odors sticking or crumbs stuck anywhere. Very happy with the low maintenance needed. Been through a few stems but so far enjoying the smoked XL8R I picked up from @VGOODIEZ. I've really enjoyed this device and for some reason the look and feel of the Cuboid 200 has made everything a bit better. Skin coming soon for the mod, but here are two photos in the meantime.

Does anyone know why the resistance value changes? that 0, close to a Ω

Mine is usually 0.37, now 0.39. Why?

I assume you are aware that the Cuboid 200 is compatible with the Tubo software from @funkyjunky ?

I have 2 mods with a Splinter and a Splinter Z. I leave them both mounted to the mod I always use with them. I usually leave them empty but I always leave them on their side. I tend to leave my VapCaps loaded, but my Splinters not so much. Given how quick they are to load I would rather load the Splinters fresh before use.

How's the difference between the Z and the omnivap ? I feel they have a very close effect, the same vapor, heat, hits,...everything, it's crazy..is it the same for you ? Or this is because I'm not using the Z to it's maximum?

The few times I have tried to compare them it was really hard to do. I use way less in my VCs as I have the already small bowl set to about half, and I do feel that the VCs are a bit more efficient. I can consume more at a time with the Z due to the bigger bowl and the continuous heat. So, if I have both available and I am aiming at a bigger buzz I will tend to use the Z. And while I tend to identify the difference mostly by amount consumed, it is not impossible that I am also experiencing a difference generated by the heating source, butane or battery. I will say I don't notice a difference in the buzz between using a VC with a torch or my JarHead (IH heater). That difference is all about ease of use and consistency in heating.

So, that is the long answer. The short one is "Beats the fuck out of me...".

Hey guys is there any way to uze the Z with a Mgic.-Flight Orbiter?
I would say you definitely CAN with an 18/14 adapter as mentioned, but for me the airflow and volume of RBT vapes pushes me to a little bigger water piece. The Orbiter is what (I suspect) Sneaky Pete's Globe is modeled after, and that pairs well with VapCaps and other lower airflow vapes. Splinters and other high airflow vapes, at least for me, tend to benefit from more water conditioning.
So, yes, if it is what you have, use it, but if you are looking for a better fit I say go bigger...

Yes - You'll need a an RBT 14mm WPA

I'm sure the other authorised retailers have something similar, if you're not in the EU

There are some Zeds with standard size glass fittings so if you have one of them you can use a standard 18/14 adapter

I do this with a similar adapter; however, balancing the Splinter Z atop the Orbiter is precarious at best. You will have to hold it in place and remove it when not hitting it. I prefer to use the Orbiter's whip for the connection. This introduces more drag (flow resistance) but it also means that my draw is consistent no matter what device I connect to. This is really useful for testing.

There's wisdom in what you say, but I find the Orbiter works nicely for my needs. I don't have the lungs for a larger water piece.

Sorry guys but in the end it is more advisable to use the splinter in TC or in wattage mode?
I'm satisfied in WM but maybe I'm not using all its potential.
Who clarifies me?

I'm still using my Splinter solely in wattage mode. I put sur_myevic on my P80 and set up pre-heat and autofire. It is working really well. For my own situation I don't really see a reason to set up TC.

It's up to you, if you're satisfied already then you're just playing around really. The only way you'll know is if you try, or you can choose not to. I think about trying sometimes, but mostly I don't feel like it!

With my Omnivap I find it loses flavour more quickly than the Z. Both produce huge hits and it could all come down to my heating technique but my vapcaps are kept for fast extraction and the Z is for lengthy but flavorful hits. Not that the Z is slow by any means. That's just how I use it.

@TiSteamo Ryan (RBT) advises that we use it in Watt mode and some swear by one mode or the other. I started in TCR but I've been using watt more exclusively lately. I'd say you try it out just to see what it's like.
