I had received questions on the pin wiring for the enail controller, it is not the same as d-nail and auber. I made the suggestion for the factory to change the pin layout we will see.

1, Is cable plug 5 pin XLR type connection?
Yes, we offer 5-pin XLR plug.

2, Is wiring on connector same as d-nail type?
we have different wiring. (we offer the same wiring as G9 vape)
1 - Thermocoupler ( Black)
2 - Thermocoupler ( Red )
3 - Ground ( Green )
4 - Power ( White/ blue)
5 - Power ( White / blue)

I tend to press with the same pressure but also noticed the higher the micron the more sturdy the bags are,
i think its bcs lower micron bags like 37/25 micron have a thinner and therfore weave than say a 120/160+ :)

DNail got back to me to say a new improved version of the Polar-Shift is in the works, it will be larger and have a wooden enclosure, no idea when it will be ready for market but have been told they will inform me when ready.

Just finishing the last touches to my Rosin Room, flooring and bench done today, hopefully, I can do my first squish tomorrow.

Will that e nail work with the Dabpress controller for my plates? If so, is there a price for just the enail with no controller?

Unfortunately not. The PID is calibrated for the platen heaters which are of higher wattage than the enail coils, also the connector is XLR 5-pin on the enail versus hardwired on the heat plates control box.

@divinetribe I completely understand. Perhaps @Stu can see if there is a more appropriate spot for that discussion?

That's a fair point @elmomuzz the size of the skeleton frame is a bit bigger than the hr10t35v which costs a bit more to ship. I hope this frame will satisfy some rosineers, we don't wanna leave anyone feeling like they have lost functionality with even their first gen equipment.

Have a look at this skeleton frame equipped with dp-rp47 plate kit (not included), only a 10 ton hydraulic hand pump is needed to complete your DIY driptech heat press machine with pump and gauge. This frame is compatible with most all sizes of plate and caged plate kits that we offer as well as other platen manufacturers on the market. Our larger quad caged plate kit dp-rp257 and dual large platen kit dp-rp557 are not compatible with this frame due to size limitations.

Sorry guys, installing heat pump and a 1 day job turned into 3. lol

Been using these jars since JCat posted about them. I collected the last dab from the jar and after I cleaned it I noticed the bottom was scratched up. Don't know what to say, there's material missing from the bottom of the jar which looks like paint.

DevineTribe%20Jar%201k_zpsg2irjtbi.jpg

I know this is a dab press forum but I have to defend my business. I have to reiterate I would never sell painted glass, the original poster just sent me a picture of a black jar with obvious scratches and paint but I have sold over 50,000 of these jars and have had multiple shipments of them, and have never had anyone complain of this. So I’m wondering exactly if he got them from me or he might’ve got them from someone else

Just a quick FYI, I've demonstrated to Matt that these are his jars and after breaking one of them I can say for sure that they are not painted. None of my other jars exhibit any damage and were used just as much so I would assume there is a flaw with this jar and the rest are safe to use.

Holy moly this news is great, makes me stupidly happy! I’m one of those who had enquired about this discontinued beauty since it was still in the dp store, although out of stock. So I’m definitely going to scoop one up this time. I know I would be satisfied with the quality of any dp unit but love the profile of this model and it’ll certainly be future-proof, in that I can’t imagine ever needing its full capabilities. Thanks Roger & Dabpress!

@psychonaut Did Roger specify if this going to be a limited offering or a permanent return to inventory?

Yes you were, as well as some others here on FC, and quite a few on the phones too.

AFAIK this should remain in inventory. We had always maintained parts for warranties on the first run, but now there had been enough requests to bring it back. Once they are out of stock, especially if it runs out faster than we expect, please understand this model takes a bit longer to manufacturer than our other AIO models.

What are the benefits of this vs. the newer driptec model?

Prepped some cured Super Lemon Haze nugs in a 25u bag and got some of that good goo!

Hope all you Dabpressers out there are having an irie Fryday!

Sweet to see that 10 ton back in rotation as well!

Beautiful rosin  Missing those lemons over here! I think I'll have a press of some auto orange bud this weekend, maybe spike it with some sift :D

What are the benefits of this vs. the newer driptec model?

Smaller micro form factor, may be benefit or not depending on how you look at it, the tight quarters in the micro frame make folding paper more necessary. Stainless steel construction is more durable from dents and such, polished finish. Otherwise they're the same in capacity but different in built-in capability.

Oh fuck, I have had my HR10t35v for a week now.

I’m one of those who had enquired about this discontinued beauty
So was I, the smaller footprint was the reason I wanted one, oh well, the rosin press room I had to build will make for an easier work environment (and less dog hair)
Driptech is also handy, can the old S/S press do that?
@invertedisdead what was the percentage return using the 25au bag? Your goo is great looking.:uhh:

A few questions:

What size molds do you all prefer for 5g or 10g pressing?

Bagging technique is often talked about, I do favor bottle tech but am wanting to try some pressing without the endcaps.

What is less talked about is parchment folding and techniques. I have read of some people using "directional" folds to guide the resin flow. What does this look like? Do any of you utilize this method? I imagine it is more relevant on a 10g press (or with any substantial amount) versus a 5g press.

There are a few youtube videos but I have only done the one 10g run, pre-pressed by hand in the pm40r, this bottletech puck only just fit in my press and a directional flow folded parchment sleeve(Taco style)

I meant to record the yield but I forgot to tare the jar when I was filling it

I only bother with directional folds for hash, for flower I just tilt the press for directional flow.

@FlyingLow I'm using the 30mm round for all pressing from 3g - 14g (2 pucks). I quit fully wrapping pucks after the first sleeve only press I tried. I do pre-press with a vice, so the puck is very compact when I band it - maybe 3/4" - 1" tall, and 1 or 2 of them easily slide into a directional envelope. I've not found perfect folding yet - some attempts have been a bitch to collect. As @invertedisdead said, horizontal pressing is very effective at directing flow.
