Does anybody know if you can still affect the distance between the heater core and load with the fixed glass stem ?

I have an enano with a fixed glass stem on the way. I am regretting not getting the adjustable stem but I was just wondering can I keep the stem higher up with my hand when taking a hit as to be able to have control over the distance between the load and heater core?

Indeed you can.
My gong is a fixed glass one and I fill it about 3/4's full and just insert the tip of the heater. As the load is consumed, the weed line lowers so more of the heater can go in.

hahaha...yeah, I thought you might already know what a GonG is and other stuff I wrote, but wasn't sure and if you were a newb, then I wanted to be clear and helpful. Sorry if it was at all patronizing, not my intent.

The carb'd adapters are indeed a wonderful way to roll with an Enano and sometime if you feel like expanding your set of accessories, you may well want to consider one. I think you will like it very much.
Oh no, I didn't take your advice/recommendation as patronizing at all. I am a grown up newbie learning along the way to maturity. I and my wife have been using cannabis in various ways experimentally for about two years. When much younger just out of the military I tried the herb for a scant few years but chose to raise my family as an example without drugs or alcohol. Glad I made that choice.
Now... I'm enjoying learning and experiencing, due to need, this revisited new relaxing pain medication.
Oh, not to forget... I have all of the stems for the enano but only run it through glass. Mostly with water but also enjoy using without. I will check out the bizarre looking carb apparatus. Thanks again.

There are also glassblowers who will make you a custom carbed gong for the nano so you don't need both the gong and a carbed adapter. Still, anyway to carb your water bubbler experience is well worth it IMHO. @Baron23's carbed adapter works very well.

Every time this topic comes up, I use it as a reminder to Epicvape that a carbed gong would be a big hit among the water loving, nano groupies.
Very helpful. Thank you.

Hell yeah, I mean it would also be enough to have a few vertical slits insteal of a circular hole if that is easier?

Has anyone of you tried to make a wooden GonG, by the way?

I am taking a semi-voluntary bnreak from our kind buds. I still have my nano plugged in for some CBD buds but it's not quite as tasty. Ho-hum.
I guess it's good to get a bit clear headed again and re-establish tolerances. See ya round...I hope ya don't forget me or nothin'.

What’s the actual problem you’re having @lhodgy? It’s very easy to use. Turn it on, let it warm up, pack a stem, put it on the heater & draw through stem.
Get it going dude it’s a great vape.

As a desktop / indoor unit it's just no where near as good for me as the Extreme Q, I know they are different machines but I can load a bowl in the morning on my EQ and take hits throughout the day or get blazed if need be, I just seem to have no use or real enjoyment from the Nano and if I want to have lighter hits or micro dose then the Air does a better job for me too.

@lhodgy, I'd pick up where you left off 2 years ago:

I did initially think it was good but that lasted a limited amount of time, I have had some more use the past week and it's okay but I just don't get that satisfaction.

@Sparkpug Yes, I think this has to be the option, getting a water bubbler. I've never felt the need for one before as I have a few vapes but I think a bubbler will be the answer to getting more enjoyment from the Nano

Since the recent discussion on carbed adapters, came across this cool adapter from sneakypete. Neat shape and while it can be used as a carbed adapter, you could also run two nanos at the same time. Or maybe a nano and a Fury 2 .

Don't forget, you can still play on the FC even during a tolerance break. We would hate to see you take off @UnevenPizza .

I picked up a bunch of those CBD flowers from Cascadia Blooms. 420 vapezone gave them a great review. At first they seemed blah in both effects and flavor. I then pressed about 7g into 1.5 g of CBD rosin. I can't tell you why, but after 1-2 weeks that rosin became very flavorful and pleasant. I had some old wax sitting around that had lost its flavor and some of its potency. I started taking a dab of the wax and then running the dabber through the CBD rosin for a flavor boost. Works quite well and the CBD rosin produces huge clouds through the nano.

So maybe a third option could be vaping CBD with a little cannabis just to take the edge off. ;) This would also help dial down your tolerance.

BFF, the dual adaptors are formally called claisons. That particular u-shaped style was, at least, when I bought it, available in a dual-packaged configuration comprised of both a 14mm & 18mm claison. I don't have a record of what dhgate vendor I bought from, but if you search I'm sure you'll find it or someone here would know. At that time, pre-tarriff, was $10 for the 2. Figured for the price, I'd know if the u-stlye suited me, and, if the glass broke, being thin, @least I'd know if I wanted to make a more expensive investment. I was surprised that it was decent in quality.

For me, I like the glass buddy style that Baron23 likes. I had the cheap dhgate GB that everybody & his uncle bought, but it was fragile because the glass was so thin. Didn't last long. So, if I make that investment, I'd definitely buy OGB's one:

The Oregon glassblower comes highly recommended. The adapter that I used the most was this one by TAG, but they are out of stock and were out of business for a while.

Eventually I got tired of all the glass needed for me to use a carbed adapter. First the bubbler itself, then a 18 to 14 reducer (because TAG only had the 14 in stock at the time), the carbed adapter, the actual gong and then the nano. It was like a Lego construction site.

A year or two ago I contacted Joda at @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd and he made me a carbed gong made to fit the nano, and I think it was less than the price of the carbed adapter you posted above. It is one of the best purchases I have made in the vaping world.

Just got the Ice stem, and I gotta say this is def a game changer for the E-Nano, the smoothness and flavor of the vapor make it very enjoyable, I was not expecting it to be such an improvement over my other adjustable dry stem, but its like a whole different experience because you can take much bigger and longer pulls due to it not becoming hot or harsh.

A long 510 wooden tip on a grasshopper PFE in top of the 14mm gong running up to 7,5 but mostly always 6,8

Use the same on the actual grasshopper

The honeycomb screen in my ice stem broke first time cleaning it. Did anyone else have this happen? I just used alcohol to clean it like all the other stems

We will be offering a new dimmer accessory that comes in a wood box (cherry, maple or walnut) for E-Nano. It has weights in it to help keep it in place on your desk. They will be offered separately as an accessory or as an upgrade when you buy a kit. Hopefully have them up on the site by end of the week. (looking at you Nadia)

Pro Tip: you can use double sided tape, or velcro and attach it to your stand for even more stability.

I like that. I can see such a dimmer mounted in a stand in the future.
