will there be a annoying buzzing sound does anyone know?

Unfortunately some of them do buzz so you may have to try a few different brands. Mine is MINWA rated 55Watts and does not buzz. I pinched it from my parents, they've had it for like 20 years and still going!

epicvape would do well to produce a 240v version of the cable!!

I've been having issues with my E-Nano recently - it seems smaller weed particulates (like kief) are getting through my basket screen and into my lungs. I found out this was the case because I tried sucking air through the pipe alone while not using the E-Nano, as if I was vaping normally (but without heating it). When I did this I started hacking a lung (am still now hacking an hour later actually) and felt bits of kief on my tongue, so some of that shit must DEFINITELY be getting into my lungs :disgust:

The thing is though, I tried another basket and the same thing happens! So I'm assuming that the kief must be going through the screen somehow. The weird thing though is that this is a recent development, I don't remember this being the case the first year I had my E-Nano, so I've also wondered whether I got some moldy weed or something.

Has this happened to anyone here? If so what did you do to fix it?? Cause right now I'm coughing to the point where I wouldn't even enjoy vaping it, and I haven't even vaped yet

I use it with a D020 bubbler exclusively these days. Occasionally I see weed particles floating around in there, that somehow went through the screen. Adding the bubbler made the whole experience a lot more luxurious and I almost never cough.

I always use a water piece. Perfect base for the glass pieces. Why cant I remember the name lol.
Vaping is hot and dry on the throat

@HappySam it sounds like your herb, especially if it’s happening without even heating it. I’m not sure what you use but don’t store it in plastic, always use glass if you can.
It really doesn’t matter what vape you’re using tiny particles will always be inhaled, that’s the nature of vaping dry herb.
The basket screens in the nano stems are fine so even with a fine grind this would be minimal, & like others have said water filters help further.
I always check when I install the screen that it hasn’t crimped on one side & created a gap.
I just look down the stem when I push the screen in & check it’s sitting flush with the sides of the glass.
If it isn’t I just remove it & reshape it, preferably without stabbing holes all through my fingertips.

In my experience, the ones that have a higher Max Wattage don't whine as fast. But that's just anecdotal evidence.

@Haze Mister unfortunately several of us have been bugging Ace & Co about it, but there would also need to be some nano-internal changes made.
I still have my hopes up though!

the 45Watts converters are nice though as they tend to be smaller and lighter than the 100 watt ones. The 45 watt converters also tend to have no cable and plug straight into the wall which is better.

Does anyone know if the 45 watt mercury step down converter makes a noise ?

also I am considering getting the D021.

https://www.dhgate.com/product/d021...lor-pipe-with/184390558.html#cart_view-3-null

I only have a 14mm WPA. but the D021 is 18mm. could someone recommend me a adapter. I am confused for what type of adapter I should be looking for.

@oreo47 I got myself a "galvanic" converter a while ago, it's much more bulky than the standard converters, and also oddly shaped (circular), but it is much quieter than my others. I don't know if it's mercury, but I assume it uses some other method of reducing the voltage, which may be quieter?

@Baron23 I love it!

Has anyone ever heard of anyone using a diamond drill-bit do drill a lil' carb-hole into a nano-gong? (or whatever else you use for glass-drilling)

@LabPong Has drilled carb holes in his rigs.

There are youtube vidz on it too. You just need a diamond tip drill bit.

@oreo47

I have that transformer. It get VERY hot so I unplug it every night. Some mornings it buzzes really really loud. Wait a few min's then unplug and replug it and the buzzing stops.

why does it buzz loud in the mornings ?
If you keep the temperature low does this decrease the buzzing or not make much of a difference ?

I don't know why . EMF yada yada ect somthing coil wine and other stuff @D
Once the tranny warms up, unplugged and replugged its silent. I would say 1-3 days a week it makes an annoying noise maybe less, Most mornings its silent when I 1st plug it in.

Like I say the only reason I unplug it is because I'm paranoid about how hot it gets. It should be sound to be left on it .

Do not let this put you off an E-Nano thou . This little log is sooo good.

I havent even got mine yet. Its still on the way in the post but Im all ready want to sell it because I have a feeling its going to be too awkward and hassle which will ruin the vaping experience.

That looks like a "nail" but I don't see why. Is that a plug that you swap out when you finish the filled gong? Splain plz.
Ok, what we have here is an Enano GonG (glass on glass bowl....yeah?). Its what is stuck in the joint to the far right. Its just an Enano bowl on one end and a 14mm (or they make 18mm also) ground glass joint on the other end.

Its stuck into a carb'd adapter. The carb is where the plug is on the adapter.

Glass adapters may be had cheaper, but these are of very good quality.

https://oregonglassblower.com/CARB-ADAPTERS_c52.htm

So, you draw and then pull the little glass plug to clear the rig with no rebound from water falling back down in the rig (rebound will often pop your load out of the bowl otherwise) and without having to pull the GonG out every time.

The glass is an FC-188 kind of Mobius Matrix Ion from China. See DHGate.com and search for "FC-188" or "stevenlmz79" as the seller's store.

Ah, here...easy peasy:

https://www.dhgate.com/product/mobius-glass-19cm-tall-mobius-matrix-sidecar/390413782.html

For 18mm joint version its an FC-187.

Put your Enano heater on the gong, draw, pull carb and clear, exhale and put the plug back in the carb hole, draw again.

Works wonderfully and carb'd adapters are kind of handy in general, IMO.

Hope this was somewhat helpful.

Thank you for the great explanation. I've blown loads out of my nano a slight few times but always thought I just had better be more careful. My fail-safe is to never clear out the piece until the GonG is removed for stirring. Paranoia to a healthy degree.

I use my Nano on 8 at least, as high as I can go. I like the effect of high heat extraction and that is what has helped me to fuck combustion. I also find it works the best for pain relief, but at the dose I use I don't notice any negatives that aren't dry mouth.

I got my Ice stem and I'm impressed, it works. I've found it's perfect for a good anti-cramping nighttime/morning dose with regard to the amount I can inhale before it gets too hot in my throat/mouth. I do, however, notice that it is not as good as pulling through water and it will not replace that as my preferred method of using.

I've had this vape for over 2 years now and have barely used it even though it's set up and ready to use in the most convenient location in my apartment, I really wanted to and still do want to enjoy this vape :(

Get a water pipe to use it with. That will change the experience completely. If I did not have a Magic Flight gear collection and their Oribter bubbler I would probably not have liked the Nano either. I tried it with a stem, and I didn't care for it, thought I made a mistake. Then I ran it through my Orbiter and... it has made me feel much more willing to blow a large amount of cash on a good quality pipe.

I use it with a D020 bubbler exclusively these days. Occasionally I see weed particles floating around in there, that somehow went through the screen. Adding the bubbler made the whole experience a lot more luxurious and I almost never cough.

I get the same. With my Nano, Mighty or MFLB. That's another reason I like water too.

I do have a negative with the stand though. My Nano cracked lengthwise from the frame of the power connector to the top, and that means it doesn't quite fit into the cutout in the stand. Actually it fit fine when it was cold but after heating up it expanded so much I had to fight to pull it out. It will not fit back in when hot either, which sort of defeats the purpose of the stand.

I drill holes in seaglass for my wife to make things with. I use dental drill bits in a Dremel Tool, while keeping the glass piece underwater.

A little sandpaper should take care of that. ;)

hahaha...yeah, I thought you might already know what a GonG is and other stuff I wrote, but wasn't sure and if you were a newb, then I wanted to be clear and helpful. Sorry if it was at all patronizing, not my intent.

The carb'd adapters are indeed a wonderful way to roll with an Enano and sometime if you feel like expanding your set of accessories, you may well want to consider one. I think you will like it very much.

There are also glassblowers who will make you a custom carbed gong for the nano so you don't need both the gong and a carbed adapter. Still, anyway to carb your water bubbler experience is well worth it IMHO. @Baron23's carbed adapter works very well.

Every time this topic comes up, I use it as a reminder to Epicvape that a carbed gong would be a big hit among the water loving, nano groupies.
