Great vape to pass around a few people, excels in use and function, especially on the go with caps and caddies. Makes a lot of visible vapor which is good to try to get smokers to quit combustion and it tastes good...not great, but good.:2c:
@Shit Snacks I love my convection vapes but this is worth having too.

Mighty is so cool to have...I have Mighty and Ghost MV1. For me, of all the vapes I've tried, Mighty gives the most intensive high, is the easiest to load and use and never lets me down...

MV1 is also cool but needs skills and after maybe 8 months of owning, I'm still not a true master even though also MV1 serves me well...

I've owned or tired Davinci IQ, Firefly2, Arizers, Pax (v1 if I remember correct) Plenty, Volcano and some others but they all have let me down somehow or (like Volcano) just aren't for my purposes...The two vapes above are the only ones I recommend if I have to do so.

All the best for everybody!

So for your experience the mighty hit heavier than ghost mv1? Interesting...
(I'm studying for my next vape so every impression is usefull)

Okay...So I can be an on demand pure convection snob, however... Thinking of maybe jumping in here, sorts to finally to see, but mostly for a group use opportunity... Convince me, not to?
You guided my first days with RBT Splinter, and so I'd like to reciprocate.
I'm not someone with deep, deep experience. Well, maybe deep. In total, I've had a Pax 1 & 2, a bunch of Crafty's, a Mighty, 4(5) Grasshoppers and a Splinter V1.
Mighty has to win out in the 'overall best' category. It has been here through thick and thin (not so much Crafty; that one doesn't seem to hold up to heavier use) and so is the best backup, old faithful friend among them. Others have some individually better characteristics (flavor, unrestricted draw, heatup time, size) but for a vape to fill to the brim and pass around to just anybody, any level of experience, this is it.
Just lately I'm having my first tastes ever of wax, on oil pad in Mighty, with excellent foolproof results. It is also adaptable to small dose use.
Another place I like it is in the car. I fill up a bunch of dosing caps and go. No muss, no fuss. In good battery shape, a Mighty will do 6 to 8 sessions easily. My Nitecore D2 charger came with a car adapter that happens to work as a Mighty charger.
Mighty will run as a plug-in if batteries are depleted.
Great for water use. Maybe not quite the heavy hitter that a Grasshopper can be with water, but it is more than capable of keeping up.
Yes, it is pricey, so of course we each weigh our needs/wants/budget. I've lost track now, mine's between 3-4 years old and doesn't owe me a dime anymore!

It works great for group use, stupid simple to operate and you don't have to tell anyone how long to hold a button, or how to breathe, it's extremely easy to use. It makes people want to switch to vaping more than any other vaporizer I've owned.

my current fav is the V3 from delta3dstudios.
It's mostly silicone, so, no glass-on-glass connection, but it is both 14/18mm in one and seems to pose the least risk of breaking the Mighty's plastic housing.
All time fave but no longer in service was the legendary muzzmod, a home-made piece that used a glass adapter, some epoxy and a cannibalized cooling unit. They would fail after a while, so, too much bother (for me) to re-make or re-glue, and now we have choices available.

may i ask, what do you mean by this? is it because of the battery lifeor other aspects?
I was set on a Mighty but seeing that there are custom battery packs offered here in FC that can be easily installed by users, I was leaning towards the Crafty (seems easier to change battery pack than in the Mighty).
Thanks for any input to help me decide between the Mighty and Crafty

I had 4 Crafty's fail, but my one Mighty has persisted.
There's a temp sensor or thermal fuse or something like that in Crafty that can fail. It is apparently replaceable if you know what you're doing.
I have no regrets about upgrading to Mighty, it really is an upgrade in a lot of ways.

I don’t think you’ll miss the pure convection. I love the flavor of convection but The Mighty’s hybrid approach makes it the easiest, most effective, least pain-in-the-ass vape you are likely to use.

I was a huge Mighty skeptic when it was first released in 2014. Once I used one it became the yardstick by which I measured all other portables. None have come close to the Mighty for me, so far.

And despite the conduction component the flavor is quite revealing. (And the conduction is a big part of its charm....it manages to use the best parts of conduction and convection without the drawbacks of either. :2c:)

Yeah, the instant on demand pure convection with just glass and steel had just really spoiled me for other vapes. Of course they are not always the best using in a group, and yeah sometimes just a little more involved to use in general... So the Mighty is beginning for me as a group vape, but also a travel vape, which means it should see plenty of solo use as well. And I shall report back with my thoughts!

Glass is a deal-breaker for me....because I am a glass-breaker. Give me a piece of glass and you might as well smash it on the ground and cut out the middleman. (Don’t hand me a tumbler full of liquid either....just save a step and pour it on the floor.) There are many great vapes out there but when I see glass involved it’s a non-starter. So in the Venn diagram overlap of my vape needs, the Mighty is one of the few still standing.

Looking forward to your thoughts on it!

Me too...Mike's product is terrific and I tried the ones with the more rigid housing and the glass....didn't fit well, didn't seal well, and I like Mike's product WAY better.

I've seen the temp overshoot the max by a few degrees on occasion, so I don't think that that is abnormal in and of itself. :2c:

:peace:

His friend might have activated the boost mode as well.

Will also have two WPAs to test...

Make sure to get some liquid capsules too. I love getting my friends high with rosin.

Oh I have no idea what comes with it standard? Is that an extra accessory? I'm still mostly an herbal guy, but I do a bit and have a friend here (won't be on the trip) who is a big dabber. I was going to grab a couple pens with our herbs, but if there are concentrate pads in the box I might as well grab some rosin too!

I think it does come with one. I have two mighty's so I bought a 40 pack a while back. The liquid capsule is the herb capsule with a concentrate pad. Kind of duel purpose.

In my little group, I was the first one that stepped up from pens for concentrates. When my friends tried rosin in my mighty they were sold. 3/4 bought mightys.

I prefer my enail or my saionara for concentrates now days, but I still pack some liquid caps when my friends are around. It's my most used pass around vape. At home with my wife we use our (her) mighty, in my man cave tho, I have a variety of vapes now. Including my og (2014) mighty. A few more years and I can open up a vape museum, lol.

New ones usually come with 1 dosing capsule and 1 liquid pad. As @shredder said, there are also pads made that fit inside capsules, but they don't come standard.
I'm having great results with wax on liquid pad or sandwiched inside flower in a capsule; for both I'm using higher temps, no c/u, just bubbler.

I agree, a bit of shatter or wax in a tightly packed capsule is awesome. Produces thick vapor forever. :p

I'm new to this and recently bought a Mighty.

Typically my wife and I share a full dosing capsule and that's more than enough to satisfy us. However, when it's just me, I only need half a capsule.

Is it ok to use up half (for me that's about 4-5 deep draws), turn it off, and resume another day? Or is that wasteful?

Thanks!

Just remove the capsule after your last draw to cool it and you should be good the next day. You could also try a half-packed capsule, just pop a spare screen on top of the load to keep it flat and stop it shifting (you don't want a void for the hot air to travel through instead of your plant material).

Thanks so much - I never thought of using the spare screen to keep it flat!

Will the THC content or flavor be diminished the next day?
