I was thinking the same thing! I got the most dank herbs recently that absolutely reeked up the dispensary, our car, and my house, until I put them in a CVault with a Boveda pack. I think the CVaults are starting to not work, because hubby said he could smell it even with the CVault closed. That being said, after the buds were in there for about a week, they were noticeably less dank. :(

These days I freeze it in as soon as it’s at the right humidity. I put it straight into the bags I press it in. Then when I need some more oil I just take the bag out of the freezer and press it immediately. The oil I get is as good as if I had pressed it straight after harvest.

Sounds gross but i have a ear-cleaning thingie which is just perfect for your use case... perhaps look into it...

Relatively new here and certainly new to this subgroup but I did want to be sure to say that I too have found this practice useful. Not only does it preserve and store my oil, it oddly makes it better! Wished I understood the chemistry of that phenomena? I tend to press rosin and to a lesser extent, cl bho/distillates. I'm an advanced presser and a novice to intermediate blaster

I would ask you: Does alcohol preserve trichomes over time?
I'm going to do an extraction.

I have some KIEF & ejuice in bottle for 6 month’s I haven’t tried?

Does anyone know if it’s still OK?

I have a large jar full of reclaim I don’t know to throw it away or mix it with flour?

Confirm the taste of reclaim is meh at best, but it is still medicine and if you're in need, then ya. Heck, I'm an of the older crowd and I'm sure others in the older crowd scrapped their bongs, pipes, etc for that nasty black resin when times were dry....I DON'T miss those days, lol

I would mix it with flavored ejuice?

But yeah I usually just dump it!
Some say to save it?

The ROSIN $20/gram is making ABV redundant?

yo, check those small SS eyeglass repair screwdrivers on ebay. they have screw on caps for both ends. i use these as my portable atty loading tool and it works great. a bit small for those with large hands, but it works well for me.
