:lol:Woah, my new Mighty has arrived! Fully charged, just did 1st cap, amazing! Why did I hold out for so long??? Going out to sit on my front porch to enjoy this beautiful day and this beautiful new Mighty vaporizer! It’s only 10:45am on the east coast, I wonder how long I’ll last:lol:

I’ll be back with a report later, taters!

A lot of valuable ideas mentioned in this thread for the next S&B portable. The key will be finding which are feasible without making the new vape $500 :D
If I recall correctly the Mighty started selling for $350? The newer one will reach $400 easily!

It actually launched at $469. :o

This unit is still on my shortlist of future purchases. If I regularly vaped with others, I'd probably already own one.

I got my new one yesterday also.

Wow, what a difference. I’m sure most of it is the slow degradation of the power of my 2015 Mightys, but right away I noticed how much faster it charges, how much longer a charge lasts, how much more powerful the hits are even below 200c, and how much more efficient it is. I got medicated way faster and with less weed than any Mighty session in memory. I also love the little warning vibrations before the auto shutoff. Nice touch.

Puffitup was kind enough to add a snazzy little Mighty stand and a four piece grinder. Also nice to see the Mighty now comes with a dosing capsule....and I decided to break out my capsules and use this new Mighty exclusively with them....can’t bear to dirty up that pristine bowl.

Should’ve bought a new one at least a year ago....the upgrade feels dramatic to me. I may have to get a new one every couple years now. :p:lol:

I've had luck replacing the bottom screen. Even though it looks clean, even though you may have cleaned it with a q tip, or whatever without removing it, a new screen sometimes can make a difference. Especially those fine meshed screens like the mighty has on the bottom. I havnt had to do this since I started using capsules.

Btw they can be a pain to change, have a spare just in case. There is a tiny groove that it fits in. It's hard to get out. I've ruined a screen taking it out once.
Thank you.
I had the screen out and inspected it, then proceeded to forget putting it back in. Neither wife nor I noticed it was missing for about 8 capsule's use, but it still seemed like Mighty had some restriction going on -- with no bottom screen at all. I did poke a pointy stick (metal) down into all the holes beneath the screen, but they didn't seem clogged either.
btw, to remove that screen: notice where those holes are that there's a raised point in the center? That leaves a circular donut shaped depression in the chamber bottom. Using something maybe a little smaller than (but similar to) the butt end of the S&B brush, push down on the screen a little at a time all around, down into that circular depression. The screen will soon be a smaller diameter and fall out of the groove. It's pretty easy to re-flatten if you want to re-use it.

Okay, I'm jealous.
Best of happy daze with it!
Tell me, do you notice any difference in draw restriction between the new and the well-worn Mighty's?

@vapviking - great tip on removing oven screen, as usual!

About year ago, I also noticed restriction on a nearly two year old unit. Opened RMA, asking them to clean innards if possible, describing restriction. Also asked them to charge me for a battery replacement while it was there. Much to my surprise and delight, they shipped a new one back, no charge. Now, many might have a different attitude, given the premium price points, alleging obscene margins. Not me. Their products produce vapor effectively, easily, and consistently. And when they don't, S&B has your back.

How was that for sucking up? Think my Hybrid will be fixed any faster?

I really don’t. I compared it, empty, to both of my 2015 models, also empty. (I figured it’s probably accurate than when they’re full, given variances in pack density etc.) Draw seemed pretty much identical on all three.

Can you imagine the price, tho??? I really like mine. This is my first, I was all about Arizer, I’ve had good luck with them. I really hesitated on buying this since The Mighty came out! I’ve been following this forum off and On since 1st post, I think I was intimidated by the price. It was well worth it! I was/am following the Volcano Hybrid thread which lead me to the Storz BICKEL website, and seeing the words “new, improved” Mighty got me. That was it. My VAS days are DONE!

I'm looking to get some whip tubing to easily hook up my mighty to my bong and since the whole unit is breaking because of drops I can't really use the wpa adapter as most people would. But first I need to know what I'm working with since I don't have calipers to measure.

#1 What inner diameter tubing will fit on the mouthpiece? it's oblong so I'm not sure how well that would work. Also it's kinda broken and I only have the one so #2 might be better.

#2 what is the diameter of the hole in the cooling unit where the mouthpiece attaches? I figure I can just stick one end in there and the other in my bong.

#3 Since the tubing is likely smaller than the 14mm female downstem, how should I beef it up to fit? Are there fittings I could use, or just a few layers of tape to get it to the right diameter?

I can't be asked to send it in for warranty yet since I have no backup vape and don't want to go without vaping for that time. Eventually I will but that day is not today since the heating works fine.

These are pricey, but they come with adapters, so you don't need anything else. Just attach to your mouthpiece, and use with glass:

I've never actually measured size, but the tubing for the Extreme-Q fits on the CU mouthpiece too. It takes a bit of doing, but it fits and works well. In terms of a direct connection instead of the mouthpiece, I sort of recall seeing something like that, but I can't remember where or what it exactly was.

Thank you, I'll give the Arizer whip a try.

For #1, 5/16" i.d. med grade silicone tubing fits nice and snug, even over the oblong mp stem.

I posted this in RBT thread and thought this might interest some folks here.
and btw, I'm managing to use the @DDave wet/dry ultimate cooling stem with water (beautiful!) and have, with creative/funky connection used that with Grasshopper and Mighty effectively.
With Hopper, I use the Performance Front End and it fits just inside the 'stem' of the bubbler. Not a true glass joint type fit, but it works just fine.
With Mighty, I use @Ratchett 's v3 water tool adapter AND put the Hopper's PFE over the top of it, nice snug fit over that silicone, thence to the bubbler as with hopper.

The 'official bottom screen removal procedure' ;) (and much more) is shown at 1:05 in the 'how to clean video' by S&B (guess can't be posted enough here...)
The orange pick can't be just a tamper, without being overengineered there would not be a place for it...
Btw as some where talking increased draw resistance - i finally made it, screwed up the CU rotation, added lazyness and used one till the MP clogged :whoa:... damn what a difference

So this is very new I have had this new Mighty for about a few weeks, I just put my medicine in and passed it to my friend back and forth when it started not vibrating like it normally did, the temperature went over 410 which I thought was the capacity, it went to 415 -418 vibrated and immediately shut off? The previous one I had did not have 20 percent extra battery power but since this new one does I did not know if this was a defect with this one and need Storz and Bickel to replace it, or if it was just a freak of nature? Has anyone else had this happen to them?

It turns off automatically if it doesn't detect a hit. Just hold the button for a second and it will fire back up.

@Seriouscollector420 -

As @Stu said, the temperature does swing above set, then falls below, and cycles like that if no draw is taken

As @invertedisdead said, if no decent draw is taken, and conversation distracts session, units manufactured for the past 2 years (approx) will auto shutoff in 2 minutes, with brief warning buzzes beginning at 1 min 50 sec

I just ran a test with two units, both of the newer style. Set to max set temp 410F. Did not draw and let the temp swing to see maximum. Ran twice on one unit, consecutively, then once on other unit. They both behaved remarkably similar, swinging from 408 to 414. Only exceptions were during initial swings, which went up to 415 twice, and down to 407 a few times

You said yours vibrated differently. Want to make sure you were aware of the new, improved timeout vibration warnings on the newer Mightys. If you knew about them, and it buzzed weirdly, something doesn't sound good

You said your temp went up to 415-418, which definitely does not sound good, at least compared to my two. Thought perhaps a hot ambient setting would matter, but the internal sensors don't care how hot the room is. There are error codes listed in the manual, numeric, but you didn't mention one

My advice is open an RMA via their site

Or, you could try a reset, by holding down power button for ten seconds. Then try again, hope it was a fluke. But, S&B usually send a new replacement quickly on units that are so new, like yours
