Anyone get any emails or notifications back yet on any of the social platforms?

I thought he at least had a couple of employees by now I believe he said so couldn't someone from the team get in touch and give us an update or what is going on... is everything ok?
I just got a new firmware update pushed to my unit, I’m about to download it and check if it has the profiles on it

New profile is installed now, I believe it was 0.1.17. It has an auto tune/profile option in the menu now, however I don’t see community profiles for the New Vape Flower Pot or the 710 could.

Progress is being made it looks like though!

I received 0.1.17 just recently, as well. I removed and re-added my unit to the web portal, and functionality is good there, too. Glad to see this update.

Same with me I checked my nail today got the update.

Will be monitoring my usage to see if I see any issues/errors glad we at least saw the update which means they are behind the scenes getting things done!

I'm still getting random device resets while trying to do Uptemp Mode.

I am monitoring it it doesn't seem to happen back to back as much as before but I still get the random reset here and there and I have to put it back into Uptemp Mode.

I have that update as well.

I had a question has anybody who updated tried the updated Tune mode yet?; I only ask because I have tried twice and the first time I let it run for awhileee it does say it will take some minutes but I left it sitting hours.

I tried on this newest update 0.1.18 and it's still just sitting on the "Please Wait" portion with the falling logos.

I am not sure why my nail is resetting itself when trying to do Uptemp Mode, I haven't tried it yet on this newest version (0.1.18) but it was still happening for me before 0.1.17 and even after it still.

I had the same experience on previous firmwares with the Tune mode. Haven't tried on this one. I'll give it a shot and report back.

No resets for me using uptemp mode on 0.1.18. Probably 5-6 dabs on it thus far.

@Fkn0wned tune mode can take up to 30 minutes to run depending on your gear, we haven't seen any reports of people having issues with it not completing. Make sure your coil is powered on before running auto tune.

Getting the new autotune mode running on your hardware is critical to some future updates that will be rolling out soon for automated Heat Profile creation. When the autotune completes, if your device is linked it uploads some data that we will be used in an upcoming Dashboard update.

Regarding the crashes in Uptemp mode, we have made a lot of improvements to memory usage and the audio system which cleared up all instances of resets we could find. If you can provide us a reliable way to reproduce your reset on the current firmware we can definitely get it fixed up.

We have a substantial list of features and improvements that are completed, we are just rolling them out as QA gives the go ahead so you will see quite a few firmware and dashboard updates over the next few weeks, you can follow the progress on the Changelog in the Dashboard.

We have also made significant changes to the way the backend processes the incoming data, so all of the widgets and device information in the Dashboard should load pretty much instantly now.

I'm not sure why audio would be an issue as on the newer matte black nail I have I kept things at default and tried to not have any sounds on.

So unless the Sync feature was broken I'm not sure I'm going to have to keep an eye on it after this last update to see if it still occurs.

Thanks for finally getting a word out on the forum!

People were getting worried, I know I kind of was somewhat.

I think he means the audio subsystem's code. It's probably running in the background, and they optimized / debugged it further.

Auto-tune still does not work for me, unfortunately. I tried on my 25 mm coil last night. I let it sit for over an hour. It sits at "please wait" and the dashboard shows it is on, but nothing happens to the coil temp (should it? hard to say, but I'd think the temp should fluctuate during the process?).

Definitely happy to see your post, @maxvapor710. Good to see these updates, as well :) Thanks for the info.

@Fkn0wned Can you give us steps to reproduce the issue?

Does it only happen when you run Uptemp mode sequentially (ie: it doesnt happen on the 1st or 2nd or 3rd dab)?

If that is the case, and your unit is linked go to the Data Logging tab and look for 'sys_freemem'. Check it after each dab and let me know the last number before it resets. It is possible there is still an issue somewhere.

We will be removing the Sync button in the next couple of updates, everything will start syncing automatically and you will be able to change screens, sound profiles, and heat profiles from the device itself.

@duke1316 We are unable to reproduce the auto tune issue, the only thing I can think of is that your heater is not turned on when you are running auto-tune. Your device should be powered on and somewhat stable before running the tune mode.

I will have the developers make sure AutoTune turns the heater on, and add some type of progress indicator while it is running so we can see if there is still some sort of issue for you guys in the next release.

Does the nail have to be at the set temperature before pressing the Tune button?

I powered on my nail and just cut on my unit to go to the set temp but I only have my stable at 286 so I don't believe it was at that temperature before I had clicked Tune, I'm wondering if I should have waited for it to stabilize or did it just need to be on to detect it changing temperatures.

I am only asking because I got Tune to work for me just didn't know if I should have let it stabilize on my set temperature first.

And I will keep an eye on my nail don't get as much use during weekdays due to work so I either get a chance before or after to test it out I will see if it happens on this newest update that was just put out.

I will report back with my findings!

That was the key piece of info I needed, @maxvapor710! With the temp stable at 500 and the heater powered on I ran was able to successfully finish the Tune.

@Fkn0wned Ideally you should tune for the setpoint you plan on operating at because as I mentioned that data will be used in a future update, but it doesn't need to be at temperature before you start the tune it just needs to be powered on and heating.

Ah I see well I have my temp set to 286 mainly because I have just used Uptemp mode since I have gotten the nail I haven't used it just with a standard set heat mode yet as I enjoy the Uptemp mode so much it sucks to go back to regular!

My set temps I found work for me are

Stable: 286.00°

Start: 311° (25° over my Stable temp as manual suggested start time be)

Ramp: 435.99° (was set to 436 but dropped down .1)

So those work pretty good for me as it overshoots a little bit into the 500s but never exceeds 600 which I don't want to go over so it works out for me.

I will say I do believe the Sync is broken as I did have sounds applied (a profile) and when I made a new one to just have no sounds kept everything at default and Synced again but the sounds don't go back to default.

I still have the Uptemp stable temp sound playing and what not so I don't know what would make it not have sounds anymore, I even changed the sound theme to the ------- and it still doesn't remove the sounds, it's weird also because sometimes it wants to play them and other times my nail is silent.

Yeah I will keep an eye on it as well and maybe mess around on the dashboard see what I can come up with myself.

I will just keep the thread updated on my findings per usual.

Apologies for double post but can't edit my previous one.

I am getting device resets this morning but also the heart is just continually flashing it isn't going solid to connect to the dashboard.

So I'm not even sure I have the latest sync for the Data Logging but my last "sys_freemem" listing is.

"sys_freemem 26112"

As I said my nail has a sound profile with no sounds on each of the options but yet it is still playing my old sounds I loaded on there. (various Darth Vader quotes)

It is weird sometimes it decides to play my audio files and others it doesn't, and as I said I now have a profile on there that's supposed to be synced to it that doesn't have any audio files selected.

*It's happened 3 times now back to back haven't even been able to take one dab before it stabilizes or right when it does it just resets the whole unit.

One thing I will test now is a factory reset of the device and see if that helps maybe it will take off all the settings that were making it not function I will report back after factory reset!

We are doing some database changes now to prepare for launching the realtime sync this weekend, so you might get the heart flashing for the next hour or so until thats complete.

I don't think you need to do a factory reset, we have some more audio changes in the next update that will hopefully resolve your issue for good.

Probably to the surprise of few, the 710coils 30 mm coil and the 25 mm coil auto-tune to different settings. I'm getting much better performance out of both setups now compared to out of the box.

I'm getting more flavor and vapor at lower temps, and uptemp doesn't seem to overshoot as far. My cheapo infrared thermometer shows a closer reading in the bucket to what is set, as well. :)

@YabbaDABBAdo there shouldn't be any dashboard issues since we completed maintenance on Friday and we just released a new firmware update about an hour ago.

I just linked up a few units with my personal account testing some new features just a few minutes ago and everything seemed to be functioning normally.

Yeah I’ve tied everything hard reset, deleting my unit and trying to pair the WiFi and I still can’t connect my unit to the dashboard. It actually reset twice by its self after I tried hooking it to WiFi

@YabbaDABBAdo what firmware version are you on?

What is the status of your WiFi? Blinking / Solid?
Are you able to obtain a link code from the Cloud Link?

Every time I go to the cloud link it will give me a red cloud and does not pair. And I’m on 1.1.18, it will connect the to WiFi now but I cannot get a green cloud in the dashboard or get a heart
