I checked the tubo site and my dual is called the tubo evic dual. I never really use it. But looking forward to the new dual. Does it need it's own thread?

Yeah it's the same, but with the Tetra heater (and all the custom options).

Probably should be a new TetraDual thread perhaps? Or is it still called TuboDual? There's TetraX like TuboX now, but maybe this new one would be called a Tubo TetroDual?... Tubo is the brand?

I dunno about a separate thread... maybe a title rename (with a mods help??).

Seems to me apart from the extra glass tube and ss coil inside it, it's the same, in design and function at least, perhaps not performance from that video earlier :o . Oh and these are quite a lot prettier than my OG or my dual from the first batch (subsequently sold as I prefer my OG tbh).

Just feel discussion gets a little detached across two threads, and of course you'd have two places to check for an answer to any problems. Up to FJ and co. of course... just my :2c:

Loving the look of the new heater too, especially after seeing the video @Padriano posted on the previous page. My three tube Tubo is a beast as it is, hats off for the ongoing improvements in performance as well as aesthetics

Yeah, maybe a title rename to just Tubo, or something like that to cover the various variations of the Tubo vaporizer.

cruze eco mode 0, on fresh battery doing much better keeping it close around 395.
but i still have bit of combustion.
and this session it was the same even when kept at 395.
maybe i take rather long draws?
or maybe it has to do with the batteries?

anyone have an idea what to do?

Yeah I agree actually, maybe Tubo Tetra makes sense now... The X's didn't necessarily need their own separate threads either, but they each have one

Hi guys, i'm interested in a tubo evic but i have some doubts.

Is the learning curve too hard for a mod-box noob without any experience with wattage, coils etc?

Can i easily use this device like a regular vape with a couple of hits at low temps, a couple at mid temps and a couple at high temps? (I really don't wanna use watts to change temp)

Do i have to install a certain firmware or it's ready out of the box?

How easy is the draw technique with the on demand feature of this vape? Easy like a grasshopper or firewood?

Is this device an heavy hitter with overall great vapor quality?

Do i have to change coils after a while? (Years of use)

I'm reading about the new tetra hater, when this is is go be avaialble?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my english.

did you update to the latest firmware found in lamart.ch ?

yes, the Tubo is set now, and stable more or less.
as i said, before updating the firmware the temp went to combustion all the time,
so i thought this was the issue.
but even now it combusts a bit.
maybe i take quite long draws? (10-15 sec)?
any other ideas?

Not at all, adjust temp, pick your mode and go!

Totally, this is exactly how I use mine.

Ready out of the box!

The draw is very open. I haven't tried the vapes you listed to compare.

Basket screen loads taste great and you can joint pack for big huge sessions.

I Haven't changed my coils in the years I've owned it, I do not think it needs to be regularly serviced.

I think some Tetra units go on sale this week!

Thanks to both of you.

Maybe i'm blind but i can't see the tetra on the official site...

also, is the short quartz tip so much harsher compared with the long bent one? i like the little one but i want cool vapor without using a glass piece.

thanks again.

I think lamart releases them in batches, I think they are build by hand, by one person.

Personally I only use cooling style stems with any of my vapes if I'm using them dry.

lamart has a bunch of beautiful cooling stems available.

so you think resistance has something to do with it?
where do i change it in the menu?
how low?
tnx

Resistance is the Tubo setting (was called resistance) That is the number the @funkyjunky wrote in the inside of the battery door.

If using that number is still producing vapor that is close to combustion than you need to lower that number. Go in small steps (0.01-0.02).

I got one of the Wenge TETRAx units!
Nice! I love Wenge! I have a wenge Tubo (currently on loan to a friend) and a wenge DynaStash to match my wenge guitar (the back of which is pictured below). Still waiting for a wenge OmniVong body to pop up on the DynaVap site, tho it'll probably never happen since wenge dust is not particularly healthy to inhale. :D

I guess that's why I didn't see that on the site! I am tempted by the X, but feel like the Dual will make more sense for me, prefer the all-in-one side by side form factor. I may need a custom Tetra...

I was refreshing the web page every few minutes until they popped up.

I think it said there were five wenge TETRAxi available when I bought mine.

Yeaaaaaaah I'm going to need to see that guitar!

From the back it reminds me of a rosewood tele.
