Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

I've also read that some people have used the storz and bickel capsules which leads me to believe their concentrate pads would also fit. I have some of both i just haven't checked them out in my Maxx yet.
The S&B concentrate pads fit almost perfectly in the OG. They work OK and might be your best bet for kief. Surprisingly, I have had the best luck using concentrates like shatter and rosin with the Dynacoil. It’s great because when using concentrates with a Sticky Brick you can be more aggressive with the torch with no worries about combustion.

Your OG looks awesome @Vapor_Eyes. I still haven't checked out the capsules and pads in my Maxx but I'm glad you tried and they fit. That's a great idea to use a pad for the kief. I've been topping herb with it and that of course works. If you want herb with your kief. One thing I notice is that the screens clog agonizingly fast from the kief which is a drag but I also wonder if maybe it's not getting all vaped and the oil is running down through the herb and is less available? Like you said I could really put the heat to it with a concentrate pad. I'm not familiar with a dynacoil but I'll look into it for sure. Thanks again for the tips. I like your priorities in your signature. Mine are pretty much the same. Speed isn't a priority for some but I had actually gone back to smoking when I didnt have time to warm up a vape, etc. My Sticky is nice and fast. Even when I'm not.

When using concentrate ontop of herb, I've got to change out my screens maybe once a week. It's all preference though, some like free flowing screens, others don't mind a little build up and restriction.

I picked up 200 screens for $6 or so on Amazon though, so I don't bother cleaning them. They get tossed in the bin.

@YayVap: Upon further reflection a VapeXHale ELB will probably be the ultimate vessel for kief. When I had an Evo it was my preferred choice for kief use. The ELB contained my kief perfectly.

I like using kief in my Bricks but the only issue is it can fly around and stick to the upper metal sleeve. An ELB would contain that and probably allow for a faster extraction as well. Or you could also press your kief with a pollen press before using it in your Brick.

@Vapor_Eyes those ELBs seem like they'd contain the kie f well. I think the kie f stays in place ok but it just seems to melt and clog things so I'll get it figured out all your ideas are helpful to me. After looking into the dynacoil i think vapcaps would be pretty cool. Wrong place to say that I know but stil. I did what you did @nonamekevin and got a bunch of screens. That was a good idea and I thank you for it. 5/8 is the exact size like you said.
So I took apart a disposable oil pen a friend gave me and took out the Berrylicious oil and dripped drops onto herb in my Maxx. Oh my what flavor. But there has to be an easier way. I can't get the oil in there very easily and I think it may not get totally vaped like it might in glass? I don't know. But I see why oil is so popular the flavor was insane like fruity candy extreme.

Not much action on this thread lately, thought I would toss up an update of some stuff that I have attempted with the SBrunt.

I still do combo hits, with a full bowl lightly tamped down, and a small piece of concentrate in the very center. And you already know I'm running the restrictor disk! I've started backing off the amount of concentrate after seeing how much of it goes through the screen and really makes the brick sticky (pun?) with resin.

After running out of flower, I thought I would try to use the dynacoil directly inside of the brick to hold some shatter. I would not do this again. It was kind of a pain to get the concentrate into the coil, and the overall experience was not that enjoyable.

Finally, after consideration, this might be my endgame vape. I have had no desire to move on to something else, and maybe because I haven't been on as much, my VAS has all but vanished. I get hammered by the brick on a regular basis and the ritual of grind, load, tamp, rip is every bit of enjoyable as it was when I first went with the brick.

Hope y'all are having a productive week and are still enjoying your bricks as much as I enjoy mine!

My hydromaxx is my one and only at home daily driver too @nonamekevin. I haven't bothered looking for another vape for at home use, and I doubt I will for the same reasons you gave for liking yours. I like the ritual and I love using my Sticky. I picked up a vapcap at an incredible deal from PIU to use when I'm mobile simply because the price couldn't be beaten, but I still want a Junior if I can ever get money together for something I want. I too still rock the restrictor disc to great success, and thanks to @Vapor_Eyes I've been using concentrate pads from my Mighty that fit my Max x when I want to hit just kief.
My Maxx eliminated my VAS too (except for the Junior. And maybe an OG Brick if I'm really dreaming big). I can't imagine anything faster, tastier, or more efficient, or fun to use. The vapcap is pretty efficient too but a while different deal entirely.

Are there any coupon codes for Sticky brick labs presently that would apply for us members?

Hi @C-weed i think I saw that puffitup.com has a sale on sticky bricks but I'm not 100% sure. If it's going on i think it was 25% off which is pretty substantial. I'm just curious which Sticky you are interested in? I had wanted the OG Brick in Cherry but pulled t trigger on a purple heart wood hydromaxx. Lol I got excited.

Does the concentrate pad fit on top of the screen or do you remove the screen?

I'd also like to get a Jr for on the go. The dynavaps are cool for micro dose and travel, but since using the brick, I really dont want to use anything else.

I'm getting ready to order a Sticky Brick but don't know which one go go for. Jr or the Runt ? Will be manly used at home. Never used one so don't know which one to go with. Any input would be great Thanks... :leaf:

@odc57 If mainly used at home i'd get the OG. Out of the 3 it gives bigger rips and is more forgiving with the torch. Between Jr and Runt, i would take the Runt native or the Junior with the mini bubbler. If I could only have one Brick it would be the OG without a doubt.

Whatever you choose, you'll be stoked and it likely won't be your last Sticky Brick! :science:

I think I'm with @Ramahs on this one. I have the Maxx and it will be ready to add a water piece when I am. Huge huge flavorful rips. I use the restrictor disc now but didn't when I first got it. It's definitely not just for beginners or anything. The disc really helps me putting the heat to it without combusting my product. Id also like a junior . I've read a lot about the Junior being lots of folks favorite sticky brick of all. Even though I have the Maxx i think an OG would be great to own just for the way it looks. The woods are all so cool. I was just going for cherry which is beautiful itself, but I opted for the purple heart and I'm glad I did.
Oh I almost forgot to mention I finally put a concentrate pad in my Maxx yesterday and I just pushed it in on top of the screen. It worked fine. Held my kief perfectly. I'm sure it would also work for other concentrates too.

I have an OG,runt & jr. And I honestly cant pick a favorite. I use the jr a little more than the others, but not by much. I have the mini bubbler & prefer it dry cause of flavor. I dont see me buying another vape 4 awhile because I found what I was looking for

Curious how much you use the runt @Coal Cracker. From how everyone explains it, it kind of falls between the OG and the Jr. I've only got the runt, so if I was looking at getting another, I'm not sure which way to go.

@nonamekevin I use it almost every day. The runt has better air flow than the OG. And I find I gotta use a bigger stronger flame with the OG brick. I like the portability of the Jr & it rips as good as the runt with great flavor. Any way you would go I doubt you'd be disappointed

I have the og and was wondering if I'd enjoy a Runt or a Jr when the time comes to try a second brick. The og is my heaviest hitter but I don't generally vape that much material in one go. I don't need portability so between the runt and jr I'd just like the one with the most cooling and the capability for big sb hits with a smaller bowl size.

I’m sorry to hear that. I could see the loading of shatter being a bit of a pain if the coil was cold. Maybe try taking a hit with an empty coil in the chamber to warm it up first.

I’m surprised you didn’t enjoy it that much, I thought it was a great way to use concentrates. I used a very strong flame and got big tasty clouds with no worries about combustion.

Probably the runt but it's very close. I can just cover the screen with a small amount & get great flavorful hits from both. Bowl size on both are close but the runt's is a little deeper
