I wish I knew how, I have a Samsung Galaxy 10 + that is way smarter than this 54 year old dinosaur.

Morning Pete! You, my friend, happen to be in luck today.

As it happens, We have a group on Telegram, with the purpose of helping folks with that! :o

https://t.me/Samsungeverything

(I own an S8. :D )

IIIII think someone in there might just be able to help you out with anything you'll wanna know about the S10+!

(Irony: the friend I wanted to send a KarmaVap to in Vermont, "TheMadScientist", officially created the group. :o )

He was a Mod at XDA Developers, and we were BOTH mods/admins for 3 Sammy phone support groups on Telegram. :D

I'm afraid I haven't touched anything above the S8 or nougat yet. I'm stubbornly clinging to nougat and my S8.
(Plus I'm poor. LOL)

Where DOES all that money goooo?

SHADOW-M-WITH-BEAMER-CASE-AND-CALDRON-IH.jpg

Oh Yeeaaah, NOW I remember.
:p

Most of the group, have S8's and above and can almost certainly help you with any issue!

I hope that helps in some small way.

Happy Vaping!

Sneaky Pete already ship me a replace for my faulty aristocrat stem... I contact him less than 12 hours ago, so I’m really impressed by their customer service!
I joint a video in my email of the tip falling from the stem, that was enough for him to confirm the stem was defective.
I already receive a new shipment notice email !!

Yeah Pete's customer service is on another level. If he doesn't answer the phone you leave him a message and he personally calls you back. The same day! I also believe he is the most professional, to the point youtuber out there.

Although pistol pete says otherwise I swear I see a channel through the middle which is a condenser? Look at the second clear one there's a thinner tube within the main body tube no? I see a gap between this and the tip to allow the vapour to travel out of it then into it to create a cooling effect? Like condenser does

Optical illusion, I'm sure.

I built an apparatus that rolls a VC in a torch flame. I have tinnitus can't hear or feel the click. A magnet on a small cow bell would hold the VC against the bell to ring on click.
I feel like a defense lawyer, trying to justify a thought in my head. If I push the bell against the mp it rings the bell. Another added benefit the VC can be stood on the mouthpiece end. Maybe this is a solution to a problem for some of us. Maybe nobody gives a crap. They want colors , how about a plaid one, or gingham. How bout one with a built in tin whistle. Then you could have music with your flowers. Doc

I have been trying to understand what you are trying to set up. I have told you I am visually impaired and understand the need for special apperatus. Perhaps if you pm me a pic of your heating setup and of the desired cowbell placement, zi could be of more help

It’s a straight tube, no condenser, no air port....

The only concern I would have is the material being used for a mp. Steel will rust, if you have one made try using 410 ss, it is about 85% magnetic compared to steel but resist oxidation at 90% of the time. I hope this helps.

@Dynalowrider tbh, I'm actually fascinated by the whole set up and idea. Spent the whole day yesterday studying the ringing of various types of bells and cans using Vapcaps. LOL

Nowhere near as much time and trouble as I'm sure YOU have spent studying the issue, but it made for interesting research while heating up capfuls. lol

I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to see a pic or two of your rolling set up or maybe a video if we ask really nice. ;)

Anyway,
Happy Vaping!

Not a condenser. The tube just narrows, from 8mm at the mouth end to 4mm within the mouthpiece end. I can’t even guess at the fluid mechanics at work, but I will say using my usual heating method and inhalation habit, it behaved differently from straight tube stems. (Is this part of the simrell stem secret? Who knows? Those who do ain’t telling). I got darker ABV after one cycle than normal for me. Maybe the thinner tube at the end accelerates the vapor? :hmm:

LOL. Man I've gotten SO much use out of pen cushions/grips
(other than their original jobs)
for endless DIY projects, over the years, it's crazy!

Another of that same Pen grip, is what I covered a plastic connector for medical silicone tubing with. (Makes a very efficient mouthpiece!)

Fits perfect in my OG Chillum glass stem.

I'm waiting on the last of my parts and I'm going to build my own, it looks very straight forward.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_202eBzWeF7rkTjqV5sWumPxtbSNtfjqOZEs1i9d16k/mobilebasic This is a good start, although depending on the heaters power source you may not need all the parts listed. For my first go I'll using a 120' ->12V 3A power source I had lying around. It may not be big enough amperage wise so I'll see what the heating times are like. I will also have the parts to attach to my Milwaukee M12 batteries for on the go. Check out the vaporents sub reddit for some more info as well. There are quite a few posts like https://www.reddit.com/r/vaporents/comments/a907gq/dollarama_box_induction_heater/

My last part I need to find is a case. I want something unique so I haven't settled yet. If the parts fit it can be anything really.

I ordered a Maple Dynastash XL that arrived yesterday and it's a nice piece. It does, however, have a strong "just recently milled" wood smell to it that I'm concerned is going to transfer to the herbs kept in the storage chamber.

Has anyone else experienced a strong "woodiness" from the (obviously made of wood) Dynastash? Also, how do you guys keep yours clean over time? I would imagine the herb chamber could be a strong candidate for mold/off-flavors after a while (though I have no evidence of this).

My Caldron from @Pipes arrived. Afterthought Solutions indeed! Wow, love this simple little device. I'd forgotten how quiet and easy using an IH is. And so consistent. And did I mention how quiet it is? And my thumb is happier for it too.

I've been using my vapcaps a bit more recently, but expect that to change. I'll be using them a lot more now.

The IH is an essential vapcap accessory (for me), the Caldron the perfect IH (for me), and I've been without one for far too long. Kudos Pipes.

I find different results with different stems for sure, even with the Ghost MV1 for example I find it hits differently with the added bubble straw compared to natively I think perhaps it’s the change in draw resistance from the ‘non-default’ setup can have an optimization effect

Slightly confused.

Is what you term “Aristacrat” the Omni pictured? Also, is the green a custom
color by crossfires.
someone asked what stems I like. that is my omnivap but I was talking about the glass stem called Aristacrat from @sneakypetesvaporizers. unfortunately everything I have green, I painted

You, sir, definitely stay busy! lol

Rather than bug you with 50 questions that you've probably been asked 50 dozen times over the years, :p

I only have one...

What is YOUR favorite dynavap tipped set up, both stainless steel, and titanium, and why?

*pause*

Oh, and torch or induction heater?

Oh, and Glass beads or intercooler?

Oh and... :p
Just kiddin, @Sneaky Pete

Nice to meet you, btw!

Well, your fortunate its maple... one of the best wood choices for wood/weed contact

if you can get a bottle or straw brush, give it a good brushing. shine a light into the holes..any jaggedness or roughness can be smoothed with rolled up sandpaper keep the lid open and let it breathe and dry out

that new wood smell will disapate over time

If you live in a banned state, Id be more worried about the wood stash picking up herb smell

Haha FC just recently granted permission to post which is super cool and much appreciated! I’m a lurker all over the place though! Overall I really like the older 7 fin titanium tip, aesthetics for sure. That Vortex and Intercooler whew, that’s been heavily used around here. Induction heaters, huge fan! Just got my first one and I haven’t much used my torch since, I just like the predictability and consistency of the hits, makes it feel more like using an electronic vape, just a very different experience overall and I’m digging! It’s also new, I’m sure the torch will get pulled out here and there :)
