Just another "Person Of Interest"
I'm going to stick with the DynaWorld FB group, they have a picture of a camera and that's all the effort I need to post.

it's cool. I 61 and a disabled vet and medically retired. I don't like computers but you almost have to have one now. I bought a doll house for my granddaughter and instead of instructions, it came with a website for the manual. my patience comes from a flower, l'm wired a little different but l've learned anything that starts to bother me, I walk away and get stoned. I don't want to put any more effort than clicking on a botton and post. keep it green my friend

I'm a medical marijuana patient and I medicate for insomnia and destructive temper. what I can't control, I don't. when I've had enough I walk before it gets ugly. and the asshole in me can really come out so l've learned when to hold them and when to fold

we went thru hurricane Michael in October, my mom is 85, just finished her second round of radiation in a year, her mind is going. I've got medical issues i'm ignoring right now because I don't have the time or will power to deal with them too right now. every day I find something else I need to deal with because mom just stopped doing it. not a pity parade, I have no regrets where I am and and wouldn't change a thing. my mom ALWAYS had my back, now it's time to return the favor. I have all the stress I need without stressing because I can't post a picture. keeping it green, loving life the best I can

Sooo... I, for 1, hope you don't go.
Frankly, you seem like a really nice fuckin guy to me, and you may or may not have noticed, but we DO like you. :)

Embracing the world of tech and computers was originally a struggle for me as well.

Those who have known me for years will tell you that I'm very old school about most things.

And like you, I absolutely hate it when you buy something and the damned manual for it is a site online instead of a booklet that came with the thing. LOL

Such is the way of the world these days. They don't put toys in cereal boxes anymore either.

Instead the kids go to a website and punch in some code for free songs or some other such bullshit. LOL

As far as the back-to-back posting and problems with posting pictures, I think I can speak for virtually everyone in this forum when I say, we've nearly ALL done it before.

Some of me... umm... I mean, some of us, more recently than others. :p

All I can say is it gets easier as time goes by and you do it less and less. At least that's been my experience so far.

Whether or not you continue to share with us in this forum, you're a top-notch guy in my book.

Keep your head up, Stay Green, and keep on beating the struggle!

Happy Vaping!

@DEZISDAD if you are on the FB page and can post a picture there then you should be able to right click the photo in FB and copy the address and then post to FC, thats what I do. Thats why my FB is full of posts with random pictures that dont make any sense.

Also can someone post the address to the FB Dyna group?

"If your ears start to ring , You can't hear the ding".

I have an idea that just might solve one of the complaints of the VC. All I need is a mouthpiece that is attracted to a magnet. I think the click will be amplified by a small cowbell with a magnet on it. "WE NEED MORE "COWBELL". If the click is louder with a magnet on an Altoids tin, let the bells ring, it just make the click more noticeable. Doc

Doc, I tried a version of this just now. Stuck a magnet on an iron bell from guinea like this one
https://www.african-percussion.net/petit-gon-cloche-beninoise

It wasn’t noticeably louder than on the altoids tin. Then I tried holding the mouthpiece end against the bell until it clicked, no louder. I think the heavier metal in a cowbell (compared to a tin) won’t really notice the slight percussion caused by the clicking discs. Have you tried a larger tin to see if it’s louder?

Nice pics @DEZISDAD! I’m waiting on an “aristocrat” stem myself. Out for delivery, they say...

I have a question I've been wanting to ask for a while, my Shadow M seems to fit more material and also is much easier to scoop and load it inside than my Omnivap XL does, do the newer M's hold more than the Omnivap? My Omnivap screen from what I can see is on the lowest setting ( default how they come )

Just a really rough proof of concept test. The idea is to do this with a coffee can or similar. I attached a dynavap magnet inside the can on the bottom.

The magnetic force will help guide the vapcap to the center of the can and help hold it straight up but without pulling off the cap when you pull it away.

I have a window fan going to vent. ;)

There's also a portable air conditioner going and a TV on, in the background. I heard both the light click and the secondary click just fine. (Obviously ymmv.)

I hope this proves useful in helping to further the cause. I've had a number of friends over the years who were hearing impaired and completely sympathize!

@DEZISDAD I like your Dynavap holder, so organized! What are the clips that hold each Dynavap?
rope light clips, like at Christmas. home depot, electric section

@Dynalowrider, this amplified the click noticeably

That’s a tin that used to hold a candle, stacked on an altoids tin.
when I use the IH, you can feel the click, hard. this is a good idea, especially if you've got music or outside

Hey @DEZISDAD Just FYI we try not to double post here cause the mods have to come in and clean it up. If you have a post already up you can click the EDIT button and add to it for up to about 6 hours.

If someone else has replied, just go for it, but if nobody has replied just add to your previous post.

@DEZISDAD cool display for your glass stems. How do you like those ones with the built in MP?

Is the FB group an invitation (closed) group? The links dont work?
it is closed but easy to join. I managed and computers kick my ass everyday.

Some shop years ago but I saw it recently on Amazon while shopping for this nintendo tin (which fits RWW stem and tip attached)
https://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-Wii-Controller-Candy-Peppermint/dp/B0010EHQI4

https://www.amazon.com/Candy-Tin-Ouija-Mystifying-Mints/dp/B005VG89QU

Many Thanks!
When it arrives, that Ouija tin will be my new herbal storage tin!
Cool find on that wii controller tin.

So, folks, since testing out the coffee can style idea earlier for amplifying the click sound, I've tested a handful of other things, including, various different styles of mint tins, a small bell like they ring for the butler in the movies, and a couple of different coffee cups.

I had higher hopes for the Bell but can't quite find a way to truly have the click ring it like a clacker normally would.

If I can find a way to have the open Edge of the Bell barely touching the cap while it's on the magnet heat sink, perhaps hanging from something suspended and barely in contact with it, I think it will actually ring the bell like the clacker would when it clicks.

For now, the coffee can style one that I posted the video clip of earlier still seems the best so far of the various ways I've tried to set this up.

Happy Vaping!

Take my money
I receive my Aristocrat Stem from GWNV (sneaky Pete) today,
The glass is thick and seems to be of good quality but I can’t use it because my tips don’t hold in place. I don’t know if I receive a defective unit, but I can’t use it like this, as soon as I turn the stem, the tip falls... even with new o ring...
