well I’m very upset about this. I am a die hard Toronto fan and a NY Knicks fan. But I live in Toronto. Leonard doesn’t even want to be here. DeRozan didn’t want to leave. It was a bad call. GM has been making mistakes all over the place even getting rid of Dwayne Casey as coach. There my rant.

Lol. That’s what the Score said in an article. Don’t get me wrong. Leonard is a great player. But if he openly says no I don’t wanna play for you then why would you take him over someone like DeRozan whose stated several times I wanna stay forever as a Raptor who drafted me in 2009. DeRozan came through on all promises after Chris Bosch left. He raptors are gonna fuck themselves again. Carter gone. Bosch gone. Bargnani gone. Now DeRozan gone. And this is a guy who wanted to stay. All for what? GM thinks he can turn Leonard into a franchise player. I don’t think so. Personally if this fucks our team he should be fired next. I had the utmost respect for him. But he’s lost his mind after firing Dwayne Casey and now trading DeRozan.

Only way I see him resigning, is if he takes them all the way. Which is prob not happening, especially with his "I don't want to play for" attitude. Even if he did he prob wouldn't though.

No I don’t think he could take them all the way either. I understand the raptors are upset. Swept again by Lebron and the Cavs. But that wouldn’t have happened this season with Lebron gone.

Still Got the Green and the Sixers to get through though. Toronto always seems to get that one guy but never puts the other pieces together.

I'm a big Raptors fan. 'gotta say, I don't like how next year is shaping up.
I'm going in record here......
Kawhi won't see the court as a Raptor.
Lowry will not come back as athletic as he was last year.( weak Prediction, I know)
They're really gonna miss Poetl.
They're really gonna miss Poetl.
And this is the closer......
They will fail to make the playoffs.

Really hoping the last one doesn't come to fruition.Maybe Drake can suit up...

Doesn't look like a good move to me either. Love Kawhi's game, but seems difficult to deal with.

He did buy a house in Toronto though.

Boy I wish they brought back the Vancouver Grizzlies.

How you feeling now @ginolicious ? I hear you guys like your 'chips with dip up in Canada. Congrats! Good luck w/ your Knickerbockers though. I have a feeling your gonna be waiting a good long while for that 'chip.

You have no idea how long we will be waiting again. Another 20 years probably.

Looking back, I’d rather have not won the chip and kept DeRozan who actually liked playing for Toronto and who resigned immediately and didn’t pull a Leonard. Guy can’t even defend his title. Not happy. Oh well it is sports.

I went to look for an espn link that I read yesterday amid all the Kawhi news, but I couldn't find it. It was one of the well written, informative pieces that they do from time to time. It sounded to me like Toronto's going to be just fine, if not immediately sooner rather than later. And to think you guys jut had one of nba's most historic and spectacular runs to the championship. I'd take the trade.

I'm a Sixers fan but much respect for Toronto!
